Admission is free. It's a nice place to go for a stroll with family after dinner. Although Downtown Disney is a glorified shopping mall, we still find it fun walking around, watching the free entertainment street performers and checking out the stores.

You can have a great time for next to 0 dollars at Disney springs if you show up at the right time. They have live performances at 730pm and every hour after until around 10pm. Next to the Hangar bar there is a small stage with seating available 1st come 1st serve. Great performers! also a larger stage near the biggest Disney gift shop where the performers and dancers liven up the party by including the children in activities, hula hoop challenges, sing a longs. Take the kids out for ice cream at Ghirardellis and definitely jump on the free boat rides that can drop you off at other end of the springs where the bowling alley and movie theater are located. Plenty of fun if you make the best of what's free and available at the springs!

Just different entrances but they all lead to the same place, I park on the ground floor close to the circus Soleil. Alot of people do the garage parking because they usually don't realize you can park there as well. It's super close and free! You literally walk pass the parking lot and you're in on all the fun, the garages are annoying, you always have to walk 2 flights of stairs or a bridge.

There are lots of options for powered wheelchairs across the entire Disney campus. Depending on where you -start- your day, you can rent at each hotel property or any of the theme parks, ( ie: magic kingdom, Epcot, animal kingdom, etc) prices vary depending on if you buy Disney or 3rd party providers. Pickup and drop off options vary too. Powered chairs will go on Disney busses, too, as you move from D springs to park or hotel. Rent one for the entire day and use it everywhere

There's the "Aerophile" tethered balloon that you can take up to see incredible things; there are the "Amphicars" by the Boathouse Restuarant in which you can tour around Bay Lake; there's a beautiful Venetian carousel, the "Marketplace Carousel"; there's the adorable "Marketplace Train Express" for your little ones; there's "The Void: Step Beyond Reality" where you can experience the fun of virtual reality; you can rent Sea Raycers, sailboats, pontoon boats, ect; and so many more things to experience! Check out Disney Springs' own website to see more for yourself! Disneysprings.com!

Is there any fireworks or celebration on 12/31 to 1/1 this year? Or any kinds of celebration?
Galaxy Qiu | Sep 9, 2019
W S | Sep 9, 2019
There us no fireworks this year at disney springs which is sad because they had some of the best display over the years. If you have access to epcot they will ring in the new year in every country and end it with big fire works. I saw the email some where, but call epcot to double check. Also SeaWorld has an amazing firework and music and dance but make sure you reserve a seat it's worth the extra bucks and universal studios also has stuff going on, but I cant remembe the details. Hope this helped HAPPYA HOLIDAYS.

In recent years Disney has eliminated most of the direct buses from Disney Springs to the various Parks. This happened about the time that they changed from Downtown Disney to Disney Springs. However, the bus is do run to all of the Resort's so worst case scenario you can take a bus to one of the Resort's then transfer to a bus going to the parks. I've used this method with great success over many years. I typically stay at Bonnet Creek about a mile or so away from Disney Springs so park for free and use the complimentary Disney transportation system.

There is no fee for parking. There are two parking structures and a lot for parking. The structures have signs that indicates the number of spots available and when you look at the ceiling of each level there is a light that turns green when the spot below is open so you don't have to drive up and down the aisle looking for a spot.

They do have a kind of generic street celebration that's not planned, but I'd recommend being *in* the MK, or if you want something less expensive in a DIY vein, plan to have a nice dinner at one of the hotels and stay in their lobby for NYE; they have drinks, and many have balloon drops and the like. In the area, Gaylord Palms has a huge indoor concourse, the Ice exhibit, a hidden object hunt, and a show in the centre (and awesome restaurants, but get a reservation now). That would be my pick for a DIY NYE.
