You can have a great time for next to 0 dollars at Disney springs if you show up at the right time. They have live performances at 730pm and every hour after until around 10pm. Next to the Hangar bar there is a small stage with seating available 1st come 1st serve. Great performers! also a larger stage near the biggest Disney gift shop where the performers and dancers liven up the party by including the children in activities, hula hoop challenges, sing a longs. Take the kids out for ice cream at Ghirardellis and definitely jump on the free boat rides that can drop you off at other end of the springs where the bowling alley and movie theater are located. Plenty of fun if you make the best of what's free and available at the springs!

Thomas Peterson | Mar 12, 2022

We have been there twice and the Lego attractions are by far awesome but most of the Disney springs stores are very expensive. Walmart In the area of Disney Springs has all kinds of Disney stuff shirts toys ect and half the price from what Disney Springs charges

Gina Jinks | Mar 12, 2022

Disney springs is free to go to. Also fun spot is not that much...and old town is affordable.

Jeff Smith | Mar 12, 2022

Disney Springs is a shopping area. It's free to visit. The parking garages are also free. The same price for Disney merchandise as in the park. The LEGO Store is a fun place to visit. The many shops are interesting to walk thru. Some of the high name brand stores are very expensive. Your grandkids should enjoy most of Disney Springs.

Mary-Catherine Rogers (Cathi) | Mar 12, 2022

Go to Disney Springs but it consists of eating and shopping. Very expensive too. Still there's you get to see a lot and only pay if you partake. Olde Town can be a fun family time. I imagine its become expensive since we took our children long ago. Sadly the " Most Fun Place on tthe Planet" now costs a LOT of money. Check out Fort Wilderness. You dont have to stay there to enjoy activities. They have horse back riding and show a movie on the grounds just before dusk..Best of luck. P.S..Ask about Senior discounts every where you go.

Tracy Taylor | Mar 12, 2022

I recommend the discovery cove it is a bit high But is is an all inclusive water park you only pay for your ticket to get in the sun screen is free and the Meadville dinner theater is a dinner show I think the children would like

Kristen Gramlich | Mar 12, 2022

go on Groupon and see what you can find. not disney themed but you can get great prices for mini golf on Groupon.

Susan Thompson | Mar 12, 2022

As others have said, Disney Springs is free to park and visit. There is a splash pad near Earl of Sandwich that the kids could play in. Bring a change of clothing or have them wear their swimsuits under their clothes. The LEGO store is fun to visit and play in. At night there is a lot of different entertainment. The Coca Cola rooftop bar is fun to visit. There is also a bowling alley and an AMC Theater here. There are many food options, at different price points or you could bring your own snacks and food. It's a great taste of Disney, but without the high cost of going to a park all day.

Debbie Little | Mar 12, 2022

Disney Springs is free parking, free entry. Tons of shops & restaurants. Be aware a lot of them are pricey. They do have stage shows that are usually groups from schools. There's a food court at Post Orleans French Quarter that is reasonable however with restrictions you need to check if you can get over there. Take a mask to be on the safe side just in case.

Kelly Turner | Mar 12, 2022

As long as you pack food and drinks, you can enjoy Disney springs on the weekends if you're okay with crowds. Shopping is expensive, and snacks can also be pricey. I'm not sure of anything else in the area since I don't live in Florida.

Charles Phillips | Apr 11, 2022

Park at Disney springs and bus over to the Grand Floridian. You can check out all the resorts and ride the monorail between the parks even get good pictures just outside the gates of magic kingdom. Also Check fort wilderness they have plenty of activities. Bus to art of animation and they have a cool hotel then ride the skyliner to epcot and walk over to the boardwalk. As long as you park at Disney springs and use the bus it's all free.

Gabriel Johnson | Mar 12, 2022

Disney Springs is free. You can walk around and look at Lego creations.

VeePhoenix | Mar 12, 2022

Disney Springs is free, and really lovely to visit. There is usually some type of live music, or band playing, specially into the later hours of the day. The kids can also visit the Lego store and play with the pieces at the work benches. We hope you have a great time.

Tammy Folks | Mar 12, 2022

Saira Kaizad | Mar 12, 2022

Other than Disney, you have other free options as well like Icon Park (free parking, restaurants and a few rides are available), Universal CityWalk (restaurants and kiosks), FunSpot Amusement Park and Dezerland Action Park. All are a short distance from each other.

Haydee DeLeon | Mar 12, 2022

Disney springs area is nice, free parking and free entry, for kids; they may enjoy the Lego store they can play all they want for free, also T-Rix cafe got a free play area for kids and interesting theme. Also, they can ride a transportation boat for free. Live performances also available free throughout the park

Nick Rosenfeld | Mar 12, 2022

Disney Springs is great for free entertainment and a place to walk around for a few hours. Parking is also free here. Target, Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and Publix in the area have Disney shirts and souvenirs at a fraction of the cost. Universal City Walk is very similar, but costs $27 to park. Many hotels in the area provide shuttles that will take you there.

Scott Conder | Mar 12, 2022

Go to Disney Springs. You can look around the shops and see the music shows for free.

Ronald (Ron) | Mar 12, 2022

No

Clarence Tharp | Mar 12, 2022

Disney Springs a great place to go everything is free got some beautiful attractions and a lot of nice sights to see.

Ernest Reid | Mar 12, 2022

Nothing cheap in Disney. Bring them to a local park.

aryn ack | Mar 12, 2022

Go to Fort Wilderness. You can walk for miles and there's playgrounds. Trails End restaurant has the best and cheapest buffet breakfast, I'm not sure it's back yet though. You can take a boat over to The Contemporary Resort and hop on the monorail to make a loop of the resorts, or change over to look to Epcot. Again, I don't k ow what restrictions are still in place, but if you can get off and explore the other resorts you should. On that note, absolutely make your way over to The Animal Kingdom Lodge to see the animals. You'll have to pay to park somewhere for my suggestions, but like many others have pointed out, "free" and "Disney" don't really go together! But it is possible...!

Johnnygamealot | Mar 12, 2022

Disney Springs is shopping, there is Disney Board Walk too. Nothing in Disney is free or cheap and they will nickle and dime you to death. My advice is go to Epcot and keep it simple by bringing in your own food. You will have a great time exploring all they have to offer. The food festival will be going on if you're going soon and that is rather pricey for some really small samples of food. I say go to Epcot because a lot of the other places are really crowded. Avoid Hollywood, that place has gone waaaaay down hill and only has 1 ride that would accommodate all ages in your group. Animal Kingdom could be enjoyable too. Genie+ is a complete rip off. Don't get it.

John B | Mar 12, 2022

Manufacture. Sky liner.

Lori Helminger | Mar 12, 2022

If you are renting a car, you could always go to the beaches in Tampa or Cocoa. You could also go to Weeki Wachee Springs park. There is a mermaid show at 11 am and 3pm and lots to do to wear the little ones out.

Meghan Farwell | Mar 12, 2022

Go mini golfing at one of the Disney courses! The Christmas one is super cute!

david galat | Mar 12, 2022

Yes I second the fact that there are stores just off the Disney property that you can find Disney merch cheaper. Unfortunately most stuff in that area is very expensive as it is a tourist area

Namari Martinez | Mar 12, 2022

Disney Springs is free. They had the carousel 🎠 and train ride for only $2 per ride

Joseph Moreton | Mar 12, 2022

Fun spot orlando. 60 bucks a kid, probably gonna run u 200 for all 3 with taxes. Fun place, and go karts.. 110 per kid for annual pass, u could go everyday, and gives them something to do

Jerry Harrow | Mar 12, 2022

When the kids were young we always spent a few hours at Fort Wilderness campground on non-park days when visiting Disney World. They have a small petting zoo, and the horse barn is there which you can tour. Both are free. Kid's pony rides used to be inexpensive as well. Also a small playground.

Rae Rando | Mar 12, 2022

Disney springs. Take the transportation boats to French quarter. It is free and a heck of a nice time.

Josh Fish | Mar 12, 2022

Disney Springs, ICON Park has free parking, if you go to Disney Springs and go around to all the resorts that's always fun, too!

Stuart | Mar 12, 2022

Free? Cheap? Disney ??? Those words so don't go together.
