Fun family entertainment. Took my family to the park before back to school as a fun vacation. We all enjoyed it and the weather was beautiful. Staff are very helpful. Facility is very clean and there are an abundance of activities for all age groups. Terrific dining options and the Waterworld show was out of this world fun. Would definitely go back again especially for the newly announced Nintendo world exhibit coming in 2023.

It is definitely an experience. I wanted to go because of the tour on the tram car, which was very good. The Water Show was amazing! It's a must see! The Animal show was ok. They moved to fast, meaning that they had the animals running across the stage. It would have been nice to see the animals on stage so we could view them. At one point, it was just chaotic. We are not Harry Potter fans, but we really enjoyed that area! It was nice to walk around and take it all in. The admission was pricey $144.00 at the gate, so you may want to look for discounts before hand. You can spend an entire day there, so go early.

First time here and it was magical! All the staff are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The park is fairly easy to navigate with the front/back lots and the upper/lower lots. We were able to go to every attraction and show and each was unique and fun. This park has lots of fun for all ages.
It’s important to note that unlike the other universal studios this one has a huge lot tour, where you’re able to see different sound stages and behind the scenes sets. Due to this, they have less thrilling rides compared to other locations. Highly recommend coming here and would also highly suggest the express pass to bypass the lines!

I love this place! They always keep updating the attractions. There is a significant variety of food options to choose from. I would definitely try to avoid going there on the weekend if possible, especially during spring break. It gets super busy. But the thing that I love the most about this part is how efficient everything is. Compared to other theme parks such as Magic Mountain, the people that work here are very good at making sure everything stays organized and moves quickly. Customer service is outstanding, if not exceptional. Everyone is very friendly. I would definitely recommend getting an express pass, especially on the weekend. It will save you a lot of time and misery, especially in the summer. Definitely recommend visiting here
There are about 5 different attractions in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at universal apart from the the shops and restaurant and essentially a mix of Hogsmede and Diagon Alley from the story.
1. Harry potter and the forbidden journey: This is a 4K HD ride within the castle and is a mix of virtual reality with some roller coaster elements. It also let's you walk through familiar rooms in Hogwarts. Do this first if you can. It may have about 150min wait time.
2. Flight of the hippogriff: it's a roller coaster. It lasts about 30 seconds and may have a 45 min wait time. It's not an intense rollercoaster at all.
3. Ollivanders: you get to experience a wand fitting ceremony. And then you can buy a wand as well. They are $44.99 for a regular wand and $49.99 for an interactive wand. There are 13 locations in Hogsmede/Diagon alley combo where you can try your had at magic with your interactive wand.
4. Frog choir: this a presentation of songs by a small choir of Hogwarts students
Yes. We were there on Saturday 7/9. We went as soon as it opened at 9. We went on our favorite rides 3 to 4 times. It dies down at 6:30pm. We didn't buy a fast pass. The lines were long but constantly moving so you are not standing in one place. There are big electronic signs all over that have the wait times for the rides so you will know which ones to go on at any given time. The show times are also posted. Stay for the 9pm light show in the Harry Potter section. After the park closes you can hang out at City Walk. They have a mega tron and a DJ so you can dance and show your moves. You can see yourself on the screen. Kind of like what they do at NBA basketball games. I hope this helps.
A lot of rides are indoor. Jurassic Park is part outside, part inside. Studio Tour drives around mostly outside in a covered tram. Most of the entertainment shows are outside. Some lines you will be waiting partly outside.
Orlando location and Hollywood locations have the same core attractions, harry potter, mummy, transformers, Jurassic Park, minions, but only the Hollywood location has the Studio Tour. On the other hand, Orlando has more rides, but the extra rides are located in their Islands of Adventure theme park on the same property but with its own admission cost.
You have to buy a ticket to enter Universal Studio theme park. Once you are in the theme park, all rides in the theme park are free, including Harry potter.
all sales end on NOV.2nd I believe, I myself got back from it yesterday and It was pretty fun to watch all of the costumes, you can get more details on their website and handle all scans via cell phone, I hope you have a good time!
There's a store that sells a bit of Universal Studios merchandise on the City Walk outside but to visit the stores inside the park requires a park ticket
Good to be at the lighting ceremony for either the Grinch tree or Hogwarts about 20-30 mins early. I just saw it last night. The Hogwarts Castle lighting was pretty awesome.
How much are universal studios passports with monthly payments
Colleen Gearhart | Aug 26, 2017
Katie Oleksy | Aug 26, 2019
It depends on which annual pass you want. Check their website for FlexPay options, it shows what your monthly payments would be. A down payment is also required.
Monthly payments can only be made on Silver, Gold, and Platinum Passes (NOT on California Resident Passes), and monthly payments range from $7 to $34 per month. Down payments range from $119 to $249.
Due to global warming Cali's winter weather has been like summer weather in the winter; which is usually high 70's. I suggest you layer light clothing. And bring a back back so you're not carrying things in your hands. Or bring extra money to purchase a hoody from the shops at the walk.
We didn't buy the Express and we were able to go on quite a few rides even though the lines were long they moved pretty fast and it was my first time there we had a very enjoyable day
Costco sell 3 ticket for 130 dollars. Can I use that 3 tickets for my family of three in one day or I have to use for one person only, one at a time?
Tom.
Tom Nguyen | Aug 26, 2018
Marina Vega | Aug 26, 2018
One ticket for 130 for one person for 3 times during 12 months.
A ticket $ 130 per person for 3 times for 1 year
When I bought my season pass, online, I selected the date of my first visit and I was able to enter the park one hour early on that day. I believe you just had to pick a date two days in advance, or something nominal like that. So, you can use it really soon after purchase.
I can't tell if the people recommending Indiana Jones are trolling or simply mistaken: Indiana Jones is not a ride at Universal Studios Hollywood; you can find it at Disneyland.
General admission is their term for a ticket that allows you into the park...No express access to any of the rides. As long as your party meets the height requirements, then you should be able to enjoy all of the rides, unless they specifically state otherwise.
How much. What is "tike". My Mexican friends don't know "Tike". Dumbass
How much does it cost for a studio tour only?
Karo Vadnais | Aug 26, 2018
Brother bob61 | Aug 26, 2018
There is no ala carte menu. Pay for admission and get on the tram. You probably go to McDonald's and ask to pay half price for a Big Mac because you only want one bun.
June will be very hot. Also because of it being popular season, there will likely be long lines. So it may take more than one day if you want to do everything. So I'd definitely suggestgetting the express pass.
My son works at Universal Studios Hollywood a 1 day admission ticket includes the studio tour, all the rides and shows in the park. U just pay for mechandise, food and parking. And yes parking is $25
Yes. U can bring snacks in. You can even pack your lunch in if you have a special diet or worried about long queues at the eateries. The food that ain't that fantastic and they r pricey too.
Yes you can. Heres a trick I learned when me and my wife first went back. If you are traveling with a group of people. Look out for the people doing the surveys as soon as you enter the park. Its a quick 5 minute questionnaire and when you complete it. You will be given a front of the line pass for up to 6 people. Note that its only good for one ride. But if you are going with a group of friends. Slit up and take the questionnaire separately that way you will get more than one front of the line pass. We did it. There were 6 of us and we got 3 front of the line passes so we went first to the fast and furious ride which took a tour of the backlot where you'll get to see movies sets close up. (Back to the future, war of the worlds, jaws etc) and the king Kong 4D was simply amazing. By the way. So yeah you can check out the whole park in one day. Just thought I'll pass along a trick that was given to us. Hope you'll have a good time
I would recommend the unlimited if you're going to be there the whole day. The express is good to ride one of their rides one time but if you want to go again you'll have to wait in the regular ride. It's good if you want to see everything once but if you want to go again or if you have kids who will want to do a ride again then I would recommend the express unlimited
Yup, that's not a problem. I would recommend keeping an eye on ticket prices for a month before you plan to go next time though, because there was a point when we were getting express tickets for the same price as normal ones
Of course, the only thing is that the child does not have a heart condition because the trip is a bit intense and it does not depend on the age of the child, but rather the height so that they let him go up.
Mask of course carry a spare in case you lose it but there's mask containers around on compound & have your covid shot card stored in your phone or on you if you've been vaccinated. Oh check the weather the day you going of possible rain showers
BLVD hotel is our go to. 15 min walk down the street, or a 5 minute uber.
Quaint hotel that formerly was an apartment block. Stayed for fright night '19 and '21. Will be back for '22
Actually I did have to when we visited on 10-2-21. I thought the park would have limited the number of people allowed in, not the case. I enjoyed most of my time there, but, my grandsons didn't get to see " Blue" up close, which is one of the reasons I took them.
Update. We went Saturday and my husband's had water in it. They did not make him dump it this time . So it depends on who is checking. Some let it slide, some are sticklers. No prefilled bottles, even if they see it has been sealed. My husband took filled with water and he ended up dumping it in the plants before they would allow him in.
We didn't we are California residents bought our tickets online and showed it at the gate. I did see if your not a California resident you need proof of covid test or vaccine.
CA residents can go, out of state need proof of vaccination, kids need negative covid test, go to their website it tells you all of the info you're looking for
I want to see the psycho house at Universal studios Los Angeles
I heard it's in what they call the back lot, is that for VIP ticket holders only or can a general admission ticket get in
danine56 | Aug 25, 2020
John In Moapa | Aug 25, 2020
Take the tram tour (part of the general admission) you go right pass it. They've also put in a Bates motel below it is just like in the movie.
You are most likely to get wet on the Jurassic world ride. There is a very big drop at the end! Warning: if you sit in the front seat you WILL get soaked. I suggest wearing a poncho or jacket that you don't mind getting wet!
None. But a couple of them need 3d glasses to be worn. For some, wearing these glasses could cause dizziness. Plus, these glasses are not cleaned properly and have scratches in them, which make viewing straineous at times.
Definitely, minions mayhem and super silly fun land should be great for kids. The new Jurassic World is very exciting for kids. The ride may be a bit too much but the Raptor Encounter and the Triceratops walk is very cool!
Hello, we bought the ticket of 309 dollars per person, it is an express ticket to pass quickly to the games as many times as it is, it is very useful because the normal lines lasted up to 4 hours and with this maximum ticket of 15 min.
Universal Express Pass range from $40 for a single-use pass to $150 for a two-park Unlimited pass on a holiday, I'd recommend the single use passes unless you want to go on rides more than once.
Is the universal studio outside? Can I come in the rain?
אור-לי יעקובוביץ | Aug 26, 2019
rotem moav | Aug 26, 2019
Like an amusement park, the place itself is outside, the queues for the facilities are mostly covered (but depending on the size of the queue), some of the performances are outdoors and some inside .. possible in the rain but less recommended.
Yes you can. Someone in our group brought a backpack and it got searched at the entrance, but no big deal. FYI, you will need to put the backpacks into lockers that they provide for some of the rides because they are not allowed on the ride.
My husband went online under Theme Parks then to Universal Studios to get our tickets. We got a better- good deal for 2 people, for 2 days. Can't remember exactly what it was, but alittle over a hundred, a piece, for 2 people. I think. Maybe a Spring deal.
Yes you can get express passes or if your handy caped you can get a mobility scooter or wheel chair and you go to the front or a special entrance. For you and your party
When you first arrive @Jennifer Mead to the main entrance they will let know if you ask. To answer your question when you purchase your parking ticket to enter you can can go go as you please. I purchased the Preferred parking and it made it much easier to walk in and out. I actually did see a Class C/ F450 Ford RV there and they were walking back and forth.
I hope this helps!!!!!!!
We stayed at a property right next year universal studios so there was a bus that took us back and forth and we took a cab from the airport to the hotel in all honesty the cab was a lot cheaper than trying to pay for parking at the hotel or universal so look into Uber instead of car parking
I was there a few weeks ago and it has been pouring long before the opening of the park. Universal indicated they had cancelled the show because they could not set up the fireworks in heavy rain.
Towards the end of the day there was a long enough break in the heavy rain for them to set-up the fireworks to perform the final show of the day.
If going during rainy weather pick-up ponchos in advance, bring a change of shoes and socks, and possibly a change of clothes. Walking all over the park in wet socks and shoes can be both incredibly uncomfortable and cause blisters.
Have fun!
A daily ticket purchased at the gate costs $115 regardless of the day. In comparison, a daily ticket to either Universal Studios Orlando or Universal's Islands of Adventure is $105. Disneyland has also adopted a "demand pricing" policy, with tickets ranging from $95 for low-demand days to $119 for peak days.
Is the money worth it?
Is it possible to drive and see almost everything without express ticket on one day?
What's best, which rides and attractions?
Thanks in advance
What is the refund policy for tickets? Is there one?

Can I go to the park without adult supervision? I'm 14.
miriam Recker | Aug 26, 2019
Mike Ho | Aug 26, 2019
Starting March 23rd, Disney will change its admission guidelines for entry into the gates. The new policy stipulates that children under the age of 14 must now be accompanied by a guest age of 14 years or older.
How much does the wizard world of Harry Potter cost so what is the price for the theme park?
miriam Recker | Aug 26, 2019
rudy serafin | Aug 26, 2019
If your asking about the price compared to what you get .
Yes it's worth it
Also try the restaurant there I think it's the best place inside universal studios.
Can we get to the store without buying the entry ticket
Mohammad Akila Wargadalem | Aug 26, 2019
Mike L. | Aug 26, 2019
The store on City Walk is outside the park and doesn't require a ticket. Parking costs money however.
How much is the price of the pass of the year or one day
Eliza Lucas | Aug 26, 2019
Juan Merlan | Aug 26, 2019
One day is according to the date that you go air.
I recommend you download the universal studios application
There you can see the cost as applicable to what you want to buy ... and if you are going to buy them through the application or online ... you save $ 20 per ticket.
Look .. I just visited the Studios a few days ago and it cost at the box office in the place for the season $ 129 per adult ... Check on the Internet when it costs ... You already have a reference price ... I have heard that on the Internet It's cheaper ... I don't know .. Check it out and good luck .. The place is fantastic .. You shouldn't miss it !!!
I bought Go city card that includes acceses to a lots of places, parks and entertainment. I'm not sure what is the fare for general admission, but It is close 90 USD.
Bring an empty water bottle and keep refilling it at water fountains. You will need to stay hydrated and at $5 a water, save some money. :) As for food, I would think clever. Like a protein bar in a jacket pocket. It won't make a mess and probably won't set off a metal detector. If you have food allergies you can tell someone. I'd definitely bring an empty water bottle. I filled mine like 4x.
If you want to be in express line you have to buy ticker for 169 it's kinda extra ticket. If you buy normal ticket you have to wait in line. Specific time is only for live shows
You have a few choices. Print them at the library for cents per page (usu. 15 cents to 25 cents per), print them at a vendor like Office Depot or an Internet kiosk/cafe, or try the electronic scan on your mobile phone. The gate attendants have a hand scanner reader, so make sure your ticket barcodes are clearly visible.
Can I bring a backpack with water & a lunch pouch separate with food for the day?
Michael Sandoval | Aug 26, 2018

If you have the silver pass can you add parking to one of your passes?
Chris Everett | Aug 26, 2018
Sonia Quiroz | Aug 26, 2018
When you pull up you have an option for general parking or I think they call it vip parking which of course is a little more money. Like $10 more. Think it was $35 .
Can alumn bottle for refilling with water be allowed ..I've looked up in FAQ yes i know bottles of water are allowed ..i just want make sure if hydro Flask are allowed to bring???

Are hydro flask allowed to bring to universal studios hollywood?

Their website FAQ has all the info on food/drink and coolers allowed.
Uh... Knda. They have the express pass but it's not free. It's a little spendy, but worth it. They say they guarantee that you never wait more than 15min in line. We did it and the longest we waited was 5min. I would suggest waiting to buy the express pass till you get to the park. If you buy the pass later in the day sometimes it goes down in price. Also if it's an offseason slow day you may not have to wait in the regular line that long anyway and you could save yourself some money.
At the Universal Studios bank, one person U $ 129.00, one person two days U $ 179.00 and the direct or common access is called Express U $ 209, for one day and one person.
Dino park which is like a kids park in Jurassic world, Studio tour, minion land has a kids ride which allows a supervising adult for kids under 40 inches and buying a wand and letting your kid explore harry potter world are some of the experiences that you can enjoy with your kid. All the 3 shows also allow kids.
They have an elevator that is just for people with handicaps to go to the bottom and top floor. I seen people in wheelchairs in line for the rides. Each ride has fans set up throughout the line. Lots of benches and places to stay out of the sun.
If you come for states, download the application and buy it !!! But if you don't go to google, you buy tickets for universal studios orlando or california, either state where you go and that's it
Yes this will be a busy week as most of the schools are on break in California, however if you get the more expensive Express Pass tickets you will still go to the front of line of each ride. If not expect a 30 to 40 minute wait for most rides during the weekends and for some rides up to 90 to 120 minutes
All really great rides, most are virtual reality, definitely recommend the Harry Potter and Simpsons but all are really great, you all also purchase a fast pass type ticket too if you want to skip ahead in lines but I found only the tour had a long line
I went for the 1st time in November and truthfully I expected more, the commercials had me hyped. It was still fun, the kids had a ball, but find discounted tickets to make it worth your while
They check your bags, they allow water, the rest I don't know about, no knives of any kind. My husband had a small knife cigar cutter and they took it.
If you do not go and walk x appointment Wall nothing nomas the parking but you have options you can leave your car in a street nomas t would be a little away would change k you leave it as one or two blocks where there is a house yd ayi x the catwalk has a little one that is free t take to the square where you can walk eat shopping what you like if you want to enter the movies if you have to pay but in the square there are many shows a lot of fun
Yes you do if you prepaid for a ticket online they will check ID at the main gate also they will take your fingerprint too they checked both when I went thire to make sure they aren't giving your tickets to someone else who claimed they where you. And they check buying alcoholic beverages at the restaurants.
Depends on the event, or hotel promotion. I'd read the fine details on the event or ticket you're interested in. Maybe call them up. You can purchase early entry to the current Halloween events but have to pay extra.
No HHN is a separate event requiring a separate ticket. Season passes are only good for day operations. So it will work for Grinchmas but not HHN. They do have a pass that gives you 15 nights for something around 150 dollars though.
It's hot. 80's to 90's during the day and barely cooling off to the 70's at night. Also surprisingly high humidity for Southern California! If you're a sweater...... don't wear a sweater! Lol
Sometimes these places get so crowded they start turning away guests. Buying online at least gives you a better chance of not getting turned away. Also, you might be able to find online discounts through sites like Auto Club (if you're a member).
120 el boleto por dia te sugiero mejor agarra el pase por un año y puedes hir más de una ocasión y así por lo menos recuperar un poco por hir varias veces y recuerda dentro de studios universales esta todo caro
Every day they open at 10:00 am and close according to the day, I went on Tuesday and they closed at 7:00 pm, few people, on weekends they extend the closing hours, check the park application to greater security....
They offer carts, wheelchairs, accessable parking for 30$ cheaper, less wait time's in park. But you can only ride certain rides at certain times there are waiting periods for rides.
I went one day if they asked for it... I went another day on Saturday and they didn't ask for it!!!! Better you have to take it just in case or just in case... !!!! And if they are not vaccinated, then luckily they can enter!!!!
Need 48 hrs or less results, there is a place where they do a rapid test at city walk if you don't have it. Every one 5 or older must have it. Or be fully vaccinated
Not really a limit but everyone has to either be Vaccinated or a negative test at least 3 days before going Kids included...but if you don't get it done before hand they are testing downstairs from Sketchers...
I suggest you buy online and bring all your vaccination documentation as it is necessary to enter the park. Not so for the boulevard and shops of this.
Generally for the date you will find already with the Christmas decoration, it has paid parking options if you go by vehicle and you can also get there by metro or bus.
Be careful with the schedules that are different from Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday. The latter are where the largest number of people circulate in the park but it has a more extended schedule.
🤙Have a great time and enjoy every moment.
Not worth it. I think this time of the year except holidays, the line is not too bad. We were able to complete all the attractions in one day. The waiting time is not that bad...average 15 to 25 minutes. They have a nice app you can download and it will give you the virtual map and the waiting time. Also you can filter the display to show the attractions, food, restrooms and shopping. I am happy with my recent visit this November, 2021. By the way they require vaccination proof or 72 hours prior COVID 19 test if not vaccinated. One tip, bring the most compact and light stroller since there are plenty of escalators up and down going to different attractions. Bring extra shirt, since some attractions you might get wet.
Daimelynn Dasalla-Jaquias (Kaiulani) | Oct 29, 2021
We jus went to Halloween nights and the lines were INSAAAANE! Over 2 hr wait per Halloween event!! Next time I'd buy the Express Pass even tho astronomically priced... the wait times were just beyond ridiculous! They had advertised limited presold tickets due to COVID but...sure didn't look like it was limited! More like UNLIMITED Amounts of people!
Now it can. We went 3 weeks ago. They recommend you use the mask. They are not asking for proof of vaccination, but it is recommended that if you are vaccinated better.
Within the games, the use of a mask is mandatory.
Universal Studios would have to be contacted directly but they are a full working movie lot with thousands if not millions of locations to choose from for film and or pictures.
That must be something with their site or payment system.
Also I have sometime experienced that informing credit card company about travel plans make them aware of area charge is being made.
Hope this helps. Or you should call universal.
No reservations needed... the ticket booths are open, but i recommend purchasing your tickets on line its fast and easy. That way you avoid the ticket line and go straight to the entrance gate.
It will work fine. My son and I just went and we ordered passes and everything was smooth... One thing that was a bonus is that I can not stand in lines or I pass out and the customer service area completely understood and gave me a pass to not have to wait in line(I guess a bonus of having anxiety). It was a little different than Disneyland where they have a separate line, bc at Universal they give you a time to come back at but it's better than waiting in line.
They do have discounts for senior citizens, and also if you're working at the moment there are a lot of jobs that have discounts at a lot of the amusement parks. Doesn't hurt to ask the worst they can say is no.Have fun!
Harry Potter or Jurassic World, those have the longest lines usually. The tram line gets long but goes late during the Summer and the evening tram is fun and a little different.
Well around here in Los Angeles I didn't see anything from E.T. The truth is, the park is very big and you will need more than once to go through it fully
If you're fully vaccinated it is not required that you wear a mask. If you are not vaccinated it is Suggested that you wear a mask. There is no vaccination Check-in!
Depends on the day you choose to go to the park. I would look online and search other places, they have discount's. My work has a buy a day get the year for the price of a day. There are some good deals out there
The park is already open for those out of state, however you do need your vaccine card (at least 14 days after your second dose), you will need to show proof of it and ID, hope this helps.
As of now California Residence may enter the park and there is a separate line to purchase tickets with proof of residency. Those out of state may purchase ticket but need to provide proof of vaccination and need to be older than 16 years of age to enter the park.
Yes
You can add inside the park the have 2 booths 1 a couple feet from the entrance and the other across from Starbucks
Also they have a Flex program to pay 7 dollars monthly for the payments
Masks are required to be worn at all times, unless you are eating in a designated eating area only. Vaccines are not required unless you are from out of state.
Not necessarily. If you're traveling from out of state, proof of being fully vaccinated is required along with photo ID and will be able to buy tickets at the gate ONLY. If you're a California resident tickets are ONLINE only.
The Daily Dot said Universal provided a sheriff’s department of the statement that said, “deputies received a call of patrons refusing to leave, as ordered by park security, due to park violations. When deputies arrived, they saw theme park security personnel attempting to escort two adults and a child to the exit after they were asked to leave. ... The male and female adults were engaged in a verbal altercation with park security. Deputies were actively trying to de-escalate the situation with the male adult when the female adult assaulted a park security staff member,” and that the woman was “subsequently arrested/cited for battery” and “the male patron was initially detained pending the de-escalation of the incident and both were escorted off property and released.”

They do, but everyone knows 2 year olds won't leave it on. They do remind people to put their masks on if they don't have it on after eating, even if it's under your nose. I'm currently here and see small kids either walking or in strollers but they do not all have masks and workers are not bringing it to the parents' attention, so I think you're good if your child will not leave their mask on.
Everything except the Kongfu Panda attraction was open when I went. If you download the Universal app on your phone, you can keep up to date on what rides are open and the wait times for each ride
You are ok they dont really look at the tickets and your ID you should be fine, when you get to the line just go as if nothing is wrong and yoh will be ok, i whent in with my daughters ticket yesterday, she whent in with my
From what I understand from a cast member reservations will be required when they reopen at the end of April, due to capacity restrictions. I recommend signing up for their email alerts
It currently has limited time events going on inside the actual park but the rides are not open yet. I can't say for certain on the rides but it's currently doing a soft opening for stores and food.
As of now its still TBD they are open for Taste Universal where certain restaurants and shops are open. They are opening outdoor rides first when they become available.
I don't know who is this Shown. But today February 2 2021. Universal is close. And is my understanding that are using the parking lot to vaccinate people. So don't pay attention to this person.
What happens to the jaws shark at universal studios Hollywood, since the park is closes.

You have asked this question on a Local Guides page. Be sure to contact Universal Studios Park directly for service regarding your pass. There should be a number on your pass or through your bank if you used a credit or debit card.
Due to the pandemic, scheduled activities have been delayed and due to the pandemic, they are providing the facility to change the dates of passes or tickets that are about to expire.
Personally, some plane tickets we managed to change the date.
It is currently closed due to the Covid-19 issue ..... I don't think there will be in November seeing how everything is going ..... but as you have already been told before ... it is normal that it was open ... .it is more .... I went in December.
It's open all 7 days of the week. However, it's not open because of our wonderful friend Coronavirus.
Hi!! I have 4 tickets to Universal Studios purchased at Costco. They expire I believe this month. What can I do? Can I get a refund from Costco?

I am wondering when it will open it up? I want to go on September around my birthday.
I'm not sure . I am not a worker I just do reviews. My family and I went yesterday we had looked up online. Sorry to heat that happened to yall. We also are on vacation from Texas
We had a family trip planned for march 21 , and reserved a spot to the opening sneek of pets life but now with the shut down i have to cancelled my question is since my silverpass is almost up are they going to push those passes out with more dates
This question should be asked to a representative directly at Universal Studios. This forum is for people who may have traveled there to help each other out.
Depends on the area you're in. Springfield had a lot of dining options, Hogsmeade also has a tavern like area to dine in, and there are several other resting areas around as well. There's an app you can download for Universal Studios and I believe you can view dining options on it, which should allow you to sit and rest without having to necessarily order food if you don't want to.
When bring a little baby, there's a family area in all attractions for waiting? Do you know how it works?
Awesome Gadgets | Aug 25, 2020
Naomi | Aug 25, 2020
There is a Child Switch Area on all attractions, some rides require you to wait in the general line others you can use the Express lane. They will give you a ticket for 2 people to ride and send you to the Child switch area to wait.
How much r the tickets for both parks with the no line waiting
sailor moon | Aug 25, 2020
Linda Garcia | Aug 25, 2020
Each day prices may vary especially on weekends it goes up about $50-$100. Universal Express tickets is from $179-$219 which inculdes only one express access to each ride, attraction and show. VIP experience is from $249-$399 includes unlimited express access to all, tour, gourmet meal and valet parking.
Can I take cold sandwiches inside the park? And is the limit of 2 water bottles per person or per family?
Karla Diaz | Aug 25, 2020
Jorge DeZ | Aug 25, 2020
A: The park allows visitors to carry water bottles (maximum 2 liters), small snacks, and special food items for dietary and medical requirements. Soft-sided insulated bags are also allowed as long as they are no larger than 8.5" wide x 6" high x 6" deep.
Hi!! Universal studio is cheaper than Disney, we acquire the passes through best day. The truth is that there are very few attractions and a very small park, with one day to go through it is enough, but if you like to admire the details with 2 days you enjoy it very well. Approximately 8 thousand pesos for 4 (2 adults, 2 children).
They range anywhere from $8-$15 for the front gate storage lockers. But for the lockers before going on a ride they are free for a limited amount of time
I would agree with DRUMSOLO 130, we stayed in Studio City, but it was a 35 min drive, $30 a night to park and then $25(?) to park at Universal. The hotels near Universal may be kinder with Parking fees.
Yes...look out for online deals which come up from time to time for the skip the line option if your gonna go during certain days when it's gonna be extra crowded...all in all just soak in the experience ...this isn't a place to visit in a hurry..
I would stay at The Garland, and look for deals on it on Hotwire. Not the cheapest out there, but cheaper than the two onsite, no hidden resort fees, very clean with a nice pool and bar area, and free hourly shuttle to universal. Universal tickets average 100 a day give or take. Sometimes they have two days for one specials etc. Also check Get Away Today online for discounted tickets.
We are going to California this weekend and want to buy the California neighbor pass but the day we are going to universal studios is a black out day, so my question is Can the first visit be on a blackout day ?
Dominique Rodriguez | Aug 25, 2020
Ludovic Levesque | Aug 25, 2020
Yes, you select the first day during purchase. They mention "First visit valid only on your selected date", and it can be on a blackout day.
It's gets fairly busy, but I think it might depend on what time you get there. I don't know if the closing time changes on Christmas either, so I would check that out.
He asked me there are no more Christmas movies that are passed every day are the same do not invent so many there are and do not leave the same as the scams

Buy the ticket at Costco, then take the receipt to a small office right behind the cash registers. They will give you the tickets there and there is a website to register the ticket(s). You can also register the tickets at universal, but it will take a little longer...
No but they do have internet accesses if you choose to take your laptop
Can you Build the park in a safe place like not close to the ocean where tsunamis can happen because my family is scared to go to universal studios because of tsunamis and other disasters
Samuel Bell | Aug 25, 2020

Great news! Universal Studios is located high in the Hollywood Hills, 300+ meters higher than any tsunami can reach!
There are signs at the front of the park by the ticket booths leading you to the day night wristband pickup area. It's passed the security checkpoint.
Yes, it's only a wristband. They scan your ticket confirmation on your phone to get into the park.
Download the universal LA application on your phone. It has ride details, express pass costs, google synced map of the park and also tells you live wait times at each ride or show times.
If I purchase four tickets two adults and two children and one of the kids cant make it, would I be able to replace the kids ticket for one adult ticket instead? If do how much would it be?

You can request a refund from Universal Studios by calling them with your tickets at this number. Make sure you have either your ticket number or your receipt so they can look up your purchase and credit back your account or credit card. Here's the best number to call them call Universal Studios Hollywood here.
I ordered tickets on line for Saturday the 19th and have not received them via email. However they have been charged to my account. Pls advise what to do.

hello good day, the price per adult, full day, more horror nite ?????
Jonathan Graciano Martinez | Aug 25, 2020
John In Moapa | Aug 25, 2020
One price for the day at Universal, but you have to pay a second price to get back into horror nights. Good luck 😊
General parking $27, vip parking $50 but I do not know why the people prefer Vip parking. If you don't have time probably use the VIP one if you dont have time.
If there are tours in Spanish, only that sometimes those who give tours in Spanish are already busy, you have to try to arrive early, but if they do, just ask in the Main office when you are going to do your tour
27$ normal parking, 35$ for preferred parking and 50$ for front parking, difference is mainly distance to the park. From normal parking its under 5 minutes of walking if you have healthy legs.
Do they have any form of scooters for elderly to get around?

According to Universal Studios Hollywood website:
"Strollers and wheelchairs are available for rent just inside the Park, across from the Universal Studios Store. The rental fee for strollers and wheelchairs are:
Single Strollers – $15
Double Strollers – $25
Wheelchairs – $15
ECVs – $60
There is a $25.00 refundable deposit fee for wheelchair rentals. "
If they have, at the moment they have the Autumn promo where you pay one day and you are entitled to one more day (free). You just have to check which days you can use the ticket for the second time.
If I buy a day pass for a guest inside I can grab the annual pass for another person

I would think so, I know when I went they had a bunch of ticket booths outside. I would recommend just getting them online and printing them out and skipping that line, and get the Express passes they are totally worth the extra couple dollars

value pass with blackout dates ran $119. The new annual pass program with blackout dates, announced Monday, will cost California residents $139 for 182 days of access to the theme park, or $199 for 244 days. A pass that can be used 312 days costs$299 and is available to all

We have passes
Are you selling the new coke cans from stranger things?
Unfortunately you have to pay to go into the Universal Studios site to be able to go on the tour of the back lot.To do the studio tour I think you will have to book the VIP tour (which is worth every penny!). The back lot ride takes you around the back lots but not inside any of the sound stages. Have you considered doing the Warner Bros. Studio Tour instead? It is a great tour that takes you through the back lots and you get to visit sound stages (for instance, where the Ellen DeGeneres show is filmed). Could be worth a thought and it's not really expensive.
139 per person. Fast pass is additional 150, yes 150. Regular fast pass let you get in front of the line once for each ride or show. Or you can spend even more and get an unlimited fast pass for rides our attractions.
Popular rides line usually takes more than an hour. Fast pass takes about 5 to 15 minutes.
It's a quick pass, you make another queue, although for me it really was not necessary, I was three times and it gave me time, I have to go early and choose before what games you want to get up to begin with those or find games that are more popular and go up to those first ... it's not worth spending more
Cost per day is $ 133.99 dlrs, for one day, covers for all rides and the park, from 5 to more has the cost of an adult, parking I do not know I did not bring a car, it is more convenient to buy tickets online, have discount, that at the box office, or also on tikets for a year, a little more
Convenient
$99/person expires 9/30/2019, or 12 month pass for $119/person. Compared to. $129 and $149 general admission/person (child 3+) also has blackout days, so when you buy, need to know what days are available.
124 depending on the day but if you buy them online is like 10 bucks cheaper and don't have to wait in line to buy they close at 7pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends
I second tidus1ph. You get early asmission with that.
https://m.universalstudioshollywood.com/faqs/why-should-i-buy-a-universal-studios-hollywood-preferred-hotel-package/
It would be better if you feel more comfortable doing it, and also depends on the weather, I would recommend to use the shoes that makes you feel comfortable
To replace your annual Pass or Lost Season Pass, visit any ticket office at Universal Studios Hollywood. There is a $ 10 fee to replace the lost passes. Please have a valid photo ID with you.
If I buy two tickets in line I can enter the same day of the purchase
Yes you can carry back pack but during lije(Harry potter) ride you will nof be allowed to carry any bag with you .So for that you have to deposit your backpack in locker which is available there. After the completion of ride you can get your backpack back.
I've heard that they do as long as the souvenir cup visibly shows it is from the theme park. In other words, as long as the souvenir cup says "Universal Studios".
You can get discounts through Groupon. Sometimes, you can find passes for 2 days for the price of one day at Costco. Google it and you'll probably find something.
If you have pass with parking, you dont have to pay. Otherwise there is no free parking. Might not need preferred one as cheaper for general parking but a little longer walk.
No. It's an amusement park, a place to go and have fun, themed rides, tours, and shows. I recommend going to a nearby college/University. Google "animation schools."
$25 to park and walk through the City walk, which is about 10 minutes from universal, and fully recommended. Or if you want to park right at universal Gates it's 50 or $55.
If you download the Universal Studios Hollywood app on your phone, you can save $10 from the gate price. The price varies from $109 - $129 depending on weekday or weekend or holiday weekend. The app shows this all. Express ticket varies from $179 - $279. It is worth it if you have the extra money to spare as you will save hours of waiting and skip the line (once) per ride/attraction.
For people in a wheelchair, I saw eating congresses and races. At the Special Effect Show, I saw separate places for disabled people. They easily drop in and these places are fenced off close to the stage, and their accompanying relatives and relatives can be there. All shows are located in the main part of the park and relatively not far from one another. Therefore, it is not necessary to move around a lot to have time to visit the whole show. The show is held several times throughout the day with an interval of two hours. It is advisable to come 15 minutes earlier to start.
Official price of one day adult ticket price is $139 not including the Universal Express pass but you can have these tickets from $105 (Expedia.com) to $90 (Theme Park Center)
I am a California resident. I wish to bring a house guest from Germany to the park with me. Do I need to purchase a General Admissions ticket for my German friend or can he and I both enter with California Resident passes that I purchase on-line?

From my experience, if you buy the tickets online there's no need to show ID when you enter the park. The only time you need to show ID is if you buy the tickets at the park. If you bought them online at the same time both tickets should be under your name. Just make sure he has his ticket at the time he checks in. No need to buy extra tickets!
Coming attractions includes Jurassic Park Ride becoming Jirassic World probably for this year, Secret Life of Pets for 2020 and Super Mario Kart for 2021.
how much does the express pass entrance cost per adult

It depends on the day, the cheapest is $ 179 and can reach $ 259 in July. I recommend buying it on the web before going as it comes out a little cheaper.
I check on the same page as Jenny Quiroz and in fact the price varies depending on the day I go. But according to that page the official price is $ 139 USD. But depending on the day one of you can save 10, 20 or 30 usd per ticket. Similarly if you are followed by travel you can buy the annual pass that is cheaper, if you were several times.
My daughter gets scared of things too and she is 9. We were just there this past weekend over spring break. There are plenty of things to do for the littles! The minions ride is great! There is the super silly fun land with rides and the water splash pad area. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has a lot of fun stuff for the kids to interact with.
