Yes, they are more than ok. Just no Glass bottles. You pass it through the belt for xray. No problem at all.
There should be not a problem with bag. They just screen it through the scanner.
Yes you can bring your bag. I had a full size backpack and it was no problem. Your bag just has to go through the screener while you go through the metal detector.
