Things From Another World is a great place to get your favorite comic titles from. If you have not been there, you should definitely check them out. The glass windows give you a taste of what they offer inside. It’s inviting to step in and explore. What you’ll find at Things From Another World is more than just comics. They have Funko Pops, trading cards, board games, figures, and more. It might take a minute to get adjusted, but once you do, you’ll feel right at home. The cool and helpful design of the store ensures that there is time to interact with and admire. From the posters above and merchandise on the shelves, they are well-organized. They even have sections designated for trade paperbacks, hardcovers, figures, graphic t-shirts, and new comics. From the outside, it doesn’t look like it will have much space, but as soon as you step in, you’ll be proven wrong. The best part of the store is that while you’re waiting in line to purchase your selections you can enjoy the large statues within the store. They are very detailed and serve as an excellent addition to the store aesthetic for new and veteran collectors. The only gripe I have with From Things From Another is that they cater to new and current titles and may have a limited amount of single back issues. Seeing as that is the only downside, Things From Another World overall is a great store to visit. You might find that perfect gift.

Great store with a nice selection, friendly staff, and surprisingly decent prices. Located in Universal Studios theme park in the city walk section. Most places in a theme park mark up their products to the moon but not here; the prices were very reasonable. They have everything for your inner nerd: minis, D&D paraphernalia, comic books, graphic novels, plush, models, toys, etc. To top it off the staff there were friendly and helpful. The picture is of a mini I bought there: Morgog the Destroyer!

Just went gaga at how much crazy, cool nerdy stuff there is here. I’m a Marvel girl, so I was in heaven when I saw the life sized Iron Man replica on the store floor. Bought myself some hawkgirl and spider-man comics, some more elves to surprise beatdown my opponents in magic, and a sweet cap hat. A Back to the Future tee for $20? Yes please! Staff are polite and knowledgable, and the price is right for the sweet deals you find here. Includes selection of minis and tabletop stuff as well.

Where else can you find a place that has a downed spaceship looming over you as you enter and then, you’re face to face with Iron Man? Nowhere! That’s where! I ended up eye to eye with an original sketch from a LucasArts artist from the making of the Star Wars original trilogy, hanging on the wall for just $180. Had to have it! I also bought myself that amazing droid, R2D2, in toy form, a few X-men and Batman comics, and some Nightmare on Elm St shoes. I love this place! Staff are chill, friendly and very knowledgeable and their selection is awesome! Everything from comics/novels to minis/tabletop/board games and ccgs to toys/statuettes, lunchboxes and so much more!
