Fun experience! The app is helpful to figure out how to navigate around. It would be helpful if it was interactive so you knew right where you were (like google maps). Cletus chicken was not delicious at all, wish we tried somewhere else. The butter beers were better than expected. Definitely go on the studio tours you wont regret it.

Loved our time at Universal Studios. The parking was excellent, a bit expensive for $50 but we were close to the entrance. The park was clean, loved the location and the views, the escalators were fun, the varieties of food venues were impressive but super expensive, saw dressed characters walking around, Harry Potter land was the best, lots of rides, numerous souvenir stores, the studio tour was excellent and our day was thrilling. I would highly recommend Universal Studios. So much to see and do. It's also right next to Universal City Walk. Suggestion, try the Butter Beer at Harry Potter Land. My six year old Grandson suggested this. It was worth $8 a drink. I look forward to going back soon.

There are so many fun little sightings on this tour, as well as showcasing some very cool special effects! The flash flood demonstration, the subway earthquake, and the Skull Island segments are really the most hands on aspects of the tour, but I personally love seeing all the set houses and cars. If you're lucky, you may even get to peek into one of the active sets if the sound stage doors are open!

It's fun. Many lights, images, and cool views. Be prepared to walk, and walk, and walk. Lotsa walking. Many areas to explore. Lots of cool retailing. I wish there were more centralized maps to guide you on where to go or what's in a given direction. I feel I missed out on places to explore with so many directional choices to take. You need 4-8 hours to fully explore the campus. You must have a clear direction or intention to see a show or dine, or you won't have enough time to see as much as you hoped you could see. Make sure you buy your parking pass and entry in advance. I'll be back again.

No. General Ticket comes with tour for free.
The tour goes with the purchase of the ticket and lasts one hour the entire tour
People take coats and umbrellas, most attractions are inside and City Walk obviously always opened for business.
You only pay the entrance and you have the right to all the attractions inside
You can also download their app to see current waittimes for their attractions; you could use it as an indicator of how your day will go
California residents only
If it is better and easier

Yes, you can bring your own, bottled water in the park is about $4 for a regular size bottle of water. You can take other drink and food items as well, just no alcohol.
Depends on what your using the ID for.
I went with a group of 10 (my kids, nephews, and nieces). You guys are good to go.
As of right now Only for California residence. Might change by July. Who knows.
They don't ask for any of that. Just your park ticket and your zip code.
I agree with Dwayne especially with the current health rules. Each group is supposed to be 6 feet from the other group. It's enforced by the marking on the ground. You will be safe, enjoy your time doing the Tour
Yes. If you purchase a one-day pass, it's good for all day. I visited last week and left to eat lunch at City Walk. I came back in with the same pass, no problem.
Service animals on the Studio Tour
Unless things go on lock down statewide again, they should be open, I went on the 15th for pass holder day and only so many things were open, but as of right now, they are open. You need to have a mask on and they have designated eating areas. Knotts Berry Farm will be open too. I hope this helps and may you and yours be healthy and safe
No..
Currently only CityWalk is open with free parking. There are rumors that there will be a ticketed event coming soon but Universal Studios has not released a opening date.
Until today free parking, not only citywalk is open
Unfortunately the theme park is closed due to California's COVID restrictions.
No. This is a game.
It is actually placed at the very back of the New York street area of the studio tour. Sadly if any form of filming is happening on the lot the trams will bypass the area completely. Happened to me the last few times I've gone over the past 2 years.
I've been told that in past years Halloween night is a walking tour and there are no tram rides
No. Is part of the park and is not worth it just to pay for the tour honestly we went for the first time and we loved it everything was so fun we enjoyed the whole park we bought 1 day ticket and it was enough time to see, do and enjoy all the rides.
The street upon which Wisteria Lane was filmed still remains on the Backlot and is a point on the tour; however, homes have been repainted and fences removed so as to generalise the street for other film projects that elect to use the area
Harry Poter ride is good
No
Yes it is something you do by choice. Like a ride.
You can do the theme park without doing the studio tour.
Nothing
Studio tour is free, you need to have tickets for Universal Studios
129 but depends on the day also look at the website
It is included, there can be a long line however.
No the tour is inside universal park
Over a hundred but could be better to get the season pass
190 for express
The studio tour is free with your Universal studios admission
it is different - Harry Potter Land etc. in Hollywood you have a) a theme park and b) a studio tour that changes every year for current productions
Well the tour is in universal studios hollywood so you have to get to hollywood first
It is free
About 60 mins to 70 mins
better than I expected. Long lines in the summer. Younger kids... not so much.
Its not that kind of tour. It's more a ride/tour.
No
Some hotels has complementary shuttle service to Universal Studio. Please ask your hotel for further info. Universal Studio does not provide pickups.
When you pay to enter universal studios you are paying to enter any ride at any time
