Due to the pandemic, scheduled activities have been delayed and due to the pandemic, they are providing the facility to change the dates of passes or tickets that are about to expire. Personally, some plane tickets we managed to change the date.

I bought a California neighborhood pass 1 month pior to the closing (becasue of covid) and was thinking, do my pass expire during the months it was closed, or does the expiration date extend?

Why dont they make by appointment only? So they can limit or control the amount of people who can enter it. By using a confirmation email or barcode so they will know who can enter and exit universal studio. Atleast they should do this while covid.
