Family favorite. Nice mix of rides and a well maintained park.

We had a great time touring the factory, and candy store. All the hershey candy was fresh and super delicious. Don't forget to purchase a chocolate Payday bar, it was quite possibly the best candy I have ever had.
15.00 a day small, 20.00a day large. My family of four, with a large backpack did fine with a large. You can get as many wrist tags you want so everyone can have one to open the locker. No key is needed provided, it uses a bar code to open.
Any major ride like a rollercoaster that doesn't allow you to have bags have lockers right beside the line that give you 2 hours for free to store the bag. Anyone on here saying they make u pay clearly have not been in that park in a while. Yes there r lockers u pay for but there r ones beside the rides for FREE.
Absolutely. Chocolate World is right at the entrance to the park. Once you've completed your Chocolate World activities, you'll be able to head right into the park with plenty of time to enjoy the rides and games. The alternative would be to enjoy the park first, then go to Chocolate World on your way out; it just depends on your preference. Chocolate World opens an hour before the park for regular ticket holders, so you might start there just because you could do it first, again, entirely up to your preference.
I went May 12. It started drizzling and they didn't close anything. Then there was thunder, so they closed all of the coasters and most of the smaller rides. After one hour, you can get another ticket to go again.
They are ADA compliant and can accommodate persons with disabilities. If you have a disability such as celiac you might want to be more careful. Even though they are serve safe certified we witnessed them cross contaminate a customer's food right in front of him after he had just explained his situation. Luckily it was right in front of him. Imagine if he hadn't seen it!
Well it would be better if you got the Meal dining plan and the Drink plan. That way it won't break the bank..let's see ...ah yes 29.95 for the daily meal plan and 14.95 for the Drink plan that allows free refills all day...better than shelling out nearly $13 for a souvenir cup then paying .99 for each refill.
Chocolate World is open year round. The park is open full time thru Labor Day weekend, then open weekends. Then Hersheypark in the Dark starts in October and Christmas Candy Lane opens around Thanksgiving
Manual/Motorized wheelchairs are able to be rented at the front entrance. Manual wheelchairs cost $15 while motorized wheelchairs will run you $45 for a day.
Well... no snozberrys... and no water fall chocolate. But everyone makes it out without being shrunken or turning into blueberries.... so.... I would say Hershey is better.
If you like amusement parks, the answer is yes. I suggest starting in the back of the park. The ride lines are shorter. It was not the experience I was hoping for. I was expecting more chocolate and less rides.
Yes! I went there yesterday It was so much fun!! (My first time too)It kinda reminds me of six flags America I do reccomend you go there :) I didn't really have that much fun though because of my ankle was hurting bad when I got there, but despite that it was a really great experience.
Yes, you have to go online and check in for capacity, they are limiting the amount of people who can enter. Also wear a mask and they will take your temperature.
Rides and water park, and when I worked there they have food and drink passes you get one free meal and a souvenir cup which is I believe a dollar refill at any stand
They do have them they line and have direct access to the lazy river. This is as of the end of last season. I'm not sure about this year but I'll update this after I go this spring. I do know they cost extra and are by reservation only.
Yes there is a military discount. Use web site to view early seasonal discounts. Giant foodstores sell discount daily tickets. Park opens Memorial day weekend.
No they have Hersheypark in the Dark. All non water rides are open weather permitting. There's Halloween shows, a trick or treat tail for kids, and the zoo stays open after dark for Creatures of the Night. They don't have any haunted attractions anywhere in the park or zoo.
In the park, you can find gluten free food at The Outpost and The Overlook. Dispatch Pizza has gluten free pizza. Outside the park, you can find great gluten free options at The Chocolatier, Red Robin, The Bears Den and Piazza Sorrento.
Kids under 3 are free , but can't do much really , but at chocolate factory no ticket is needed for anyone and you can do a free tour with a small Hershey bar sample at the end, the rest has stuff for sale from candy to Hershey branded gear.
January 1st, 2023. They will shut down the water park after Labor day, start setting up for Hersheypark in the Dark, re-opens on weekends. Follow Hersheypark on Facebook for schedule
I did 2 day tickets and if you stay at Hershey's lodge you get in an hour early and that will give you at least 2 ride's of your choice before the park opens at 11.
The first day of the season is April 2nd. The park is open Saturday and Sunday only in April with the addition of Friday the 15th.
May adds Fridays with the last week of the month leading into the full open season begins officially on May 26th until September 5th. It will then return to weekends only until September 25th. Holidays will predict the season until January 2nd of the new year.
Yes it is as of now. We are hoping things don't change until April, but we have no control over what happens in the world right now. Stay healthy everyone!!!
$45 for the day with your Driver's License or State ID as deposit. There is no money returned when you return the scooter just your license. If you have a season oass make sure to show it as you do get a percentage discount off the cost. Also as a note you can get your disability access pass here when you rent your scooter if you ask them.
I took my kids to Hershey Campgrounds last summer. It was the first time taking them camping. Although it was in a cabin it was still "camping" to us. Out of all the beach vacations and everything we've done.. that was the most memorable vacation we've taken and till this day the kids ask time and time again to have the same kind of experience. To go back to Hershey Campgrounds. It's about 2 miles from Hershey Park and you also get free parking at the Park thats included with your Campground fee. There is grocery stores, sheetz and fast food very near the Campground area as well.
$20 for parking
Just over $50 pr person as of now. The normal price is $ almost $80 pr person. Not sure how long they will have the discounted rate but it is a awesome place
Yes. According to their website, you can check with your local military base for discounted Hersheypark tickets or show your military ID at Ticketing Services to receive $20 off of an adult summer ticket and $4 off a junior and senior summer ticket. Visit hersheypark.com FAQs for more details.
Certain rides stay open even when it rains. Only indoor rides stay open when there's lightning. But as others have said, you'll get a return voucher if your day is rained out
No only have to wear a bathing suit if tour going in the water in the water park for the rides your good pluss they have dryers so if ya get wet 5$ and youll be dry have fun
They have scooters and strollers. You can get a free cup of water at any venue! No limit on that. you could also simply bring a cooler, leave it in your car, and come back to it. They will stamp your hand so you can re-enter!
1 Day - Adult (54.95), Child (46.95)
2 Day - Adult (44.50), Child (36)
3 Day - Adult (44.67), Child (35.58)
Season Pass - Adult (171), Child (156)
Sunset Ticket - Adult (32.95), Child (28.95)
Plus, you can get add ons to your tickets too
If you're planning on going for more than one day you might want to get the two-day pass. It came to around $150 for two people in June although the price might change a summer comes on.
My assumption is emotional support animals do not count. Also, the park does not have sufficient shade or water fountains to keep dogs hydrated and safe, in my own opinion
You can not bring your food inside the park some of the prices on the food in the park is not bad on price. You can always get your hand stamp go eat your food then come back in free of charge.
Probably separate hotel if your looking for something less expensive. You could do all the attractions 1 day and then the amusement park the next. Very fun place for kids, family, or just a couple. Lots and lots of chocolate!!!🤗
Yes! Kids can measure their height right at the entrance to see what rides that are able to go on. There's tons of options for small kids, like a frog hopper, train, swings and spinny rides. All their kiddie rides are listed here: http://www.hersheypark.com/explore-the-park/rides/?ride_types[]=3
Hello Barbara 👋. That I know of I didn't see a sling shot, but I'm thinking if you look up the park. You may find discounts and ok other things. You also may find out something about all the rides in the park as well.😀😎
There are no guided tours of the park that I know of. They have a place called "Chocolate World" right next to they park that sells everything they make and they also have a factory tour there, it's just not of the real factory if that makes sense, they also offer trolley rides through the town of Hershey where they explain a lot about Hersheys chocolate and it's creator Milton Hershey. Then there is the museum in downtown Hershey called The Hershey Story that also explains much more in depth the history of Hershey and of course the chocolate. If you are intereated in the chocolate I would certainly recommend all of the above!
Does Hershey park have a place to board our Yorkers while we are there
denny n pam Durnell | Sep 30, 2019
Beth Nicholson | Sep 30, 2019
Not that I noticed. You should call ahead but I doubt it. They are in the chocolate business and amusement business. Not the bording business.
Signing up for their upcoming events does afford you the best deals, also if you belong to AAA or know someone that does they have discounted tickets and great hotel rates as well. Good luck and have fun.
You can purchase a birthday party package, they're are 3 different packages which all include a private area for 2 hours and a dedicated party host. Normally the packages come with snacks, pizza, drinks, goodie bags, personalized chocolate bar for the birthday child and a gift, a Hershey's chocolate tour ride, Hershey's character appearance for 30 minutes, etc. You can find out prices and more information at Hersheys.com :)
Purchased an express pass for 6 rides during the Candy Lane experience, but 3 of the rides were open. Seems to me that it should be half price. Customer service at the park was not helpful,Does anyone know who to contact?
Yes they have all of that the water park is closed until memorial day and they have taken the water fountains out do to the cold but you can get water at any beverage stand it's free and everything is covered in your one admission price
Only if you already bought a ticket. The last 2 hours are free if you show them your already bought ticket. They will mark the ticket, and then the next day, show your ticket anytime you want to enter the park. Many people don't know about the Preview night. I was just there this week and got to go twice.
Apx $45/person tickets plus parking. All or nothing tickets, can't just buy for the water park portion.
It's $15 for manual wheelchair rental and $45 for electric from what I gathered.
I agree with Mr Talented Guy. There are many lockers and changing rooms as wearing bathing suits outside of the water park isn't permitted. We usually enjoy a nice meal out of the park, then come back in for the evening, so get that hand stamped so you can come back in. Also, if you are staying at a Hershey property, they let you into the park the evening before the day of your ticket. You get an extra 3 or 4 hours in the park!
It is a great place for three year olds and up they definitely will understand a lot of excitement it's perfect actually we still go once a year my three kids my 18 year old 29 year old and 30 year old God willing will go every year guess you could say it's a family tradition since they were five
Yes there is a zoo entrance inside the park. When you go in they will stamp your hand so they know you got in thru the park. Also if you leave the park you can get your hand stamped so you can get back in.
Hershey makes a number of products that don't contain dairy (Jolly Ranchers and Twizzlers for example) however, I would recommend you always check the ingredients yourself as there are a large number of variations. Additionally, just so you're aware, there will be a number of instances where free candy/chocolate is given away. These are typically chocolate bars and kisses, which contain dairy.
Yes , the chocolate factory is right outside the park, you can get there at 06:00 PM as the Parking will be free and you can buy gifts at the Chocolate factory
You can pack food and leave it in the car. If you have young children and child snacks they will over look it. You can bring water in the park. We picnic at the car to save money and then re-enter the park.
In August it is still open until 9. It stops being open until 9 on September 5th this year. However, the water park portion closes at 7 everyday. So long story short, no discounts for early closing in August unfortunately. :(
I think you'd have to order it somewhere outside the park/ parking lot. Maybe in town. I saw 2 families having picnics with food not purchased in the park. You could put the food in a backpack and take it in. They did not check our bags.
They probably could but i would not leve my 11 and 12 year old alone at an amusement park. Maybe you could find a bench or area to be the meet up point and allow them to ride the rides alone. But i wouldnt just drop my kids off and leave.
The rides are a whole different section he is right You can go to chocolate world which is free but you have to pay for parking to go to chocolate world and if you want to go into the park and now go on the ride you still have to pay
No, although we were allowed to bring 1 water bottle each and some snacks but that was about all. Kept the cooler in the car and they have picnic benchs around the parking lots.
No. Just buy your tickets online and come to the park on which ever day you want. Now everything in Hershy Park and Chocolate World is all credit, debit or gift cards. They are no longer accepting cash for anything anymore so you must pay for everything with a card. This goes for games and food as well.
No reservations and no mask needed to enter as well. Hershey Park and Chocolate World is a no cash Park now, so no cash is accepted. You must pay by credit, debit or gift cards only.
It's not too crowded. The lines can be a little longer since the water park is closed and they have fewer workers with college students back at school. Overall not much different than the regular season.
if your vaccinated you don't have to wear one. If not vaccinated then they ask that you wear a mask. You don't have to show your vaccine card or anything.... no one asks if you're vaccinated or not.
Students and children rate $ 57, the day I attended they had those values including adults. But apart was the value of parking 25 or 35 depending on the location
Buy it online is about 60 per person. It would be like 240 for 4 people the parking is separate you pay 15 .. and the most special sercano $ 35 you walk less to enter the amusement park
They do rent out wheel chairs and larks if you don't have and they have special line entries for them. The roads and walkways are extremely wide so there is no issue I could see
Hello . I don't know if the park would be open at that time. But you can go to the factory and see how they make the different chocolate bars. You can also make your own pardoned chocolate bars, I think it's not cold in April
Milton Hershey did not invent chocolate but according to The Hershey Chocolate Company, he created his own form of milk chocolate. The first Hershey chocolate bar was produced in 1900 and the Hershey kiss was developed in 1907. Also, in the beginning, he filed bankruptcy twice but didn't give up and finally succeeded.
Milton and his wife, Kitty, had tickets for the maiden voyage of the Titanic but a business matter kept them from going on that trip. Those tickets can be seen in The Hershey Museum.
Nowhere is 100% safe right now. They definitely made good effort to advise riders to maintain social distance, only allowed indivial parties to ride in the same cars, and on some rides they only loaded every other car on the train (Wildcat). People were wearing masks, and there was hand sanitizer everywhere. I felt as safe as I could while there. Great day at the park!
For the safety of guests and pets alike, pets are not permitted within Hersheypark, and please do not leave pets in your car. During our regular summer season, mid-May through mid-September, and during our seasonal events, pets can stay in our "Barking Lot" located under the West Stand of Hersheypark Stadium near the entrance to the Park for a nominal fee. Space is limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis. All dogs must be current on all vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella (canine cough), and they must be flea/tick free. The dog owner must also provide a copy of an up-to-date Rabies vaccination certificate as proof at the time the dog enters our facility. A Rabies vaccination tag alone will not be sufficient. The Barking Lot is not available for overnight accommodations. Service animals are allowed inside Hersheypark.
They are open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday till the end of the year as well as November 25 and 26. They are open everyday in December except December 1, 2, 3, and 25. They are also open January 1, 2, and 3.
If it rains on the day of my visit do you give rain checks

From the Hershey Park website it says that if a majority of rides are closed for more than 90 minutes due to weather, revisit vouchers can be issued for the same season.
They will be open from 5-9 for Christmas Candylane
are tickets purchased today good for december?
Walter D'Amato | Sep 29, 2020
Blu Man25 | Sep 29, 2020
No, I don't think so. Because of Covid they are only doing reservations. You may be able to purchase the tickets & reserve that date but unfortunately you have to purchase the tickets online 1st & then choose a date to reserve your visit. The buying 1st & then selecting a date part is very backwards. You can call though & speak to someone before you purchase & ask about certain dates to see if buying early is the best option
When I bought mine it was buy one get one... but that was if u bought them by july 2nd and save ur money and skip fast track cause there arent lines due to limited entrance...good luck have fun stay safe
You can go right up to the gate WITHOUT a reservation BUT you run the risk of not getting in because the park may be full coverage with reservations and turned away. I think the would be a killer to your kids. Do your reservations here.
https://www.hersheypark.com/reservations/reserve-your-day/
How do I contact someone about a refund? On “manager” lady told me to call. I have. I’ve been put on hold 5 times and each I’ve stayed on for about 45+ minutes. I need some help >_<

Best bet if you're not near the park is to keep trying to call, I was at the park this past weekend and lots of rides and vendors were closed because they were short staffed. Very inconvenient, I was going to get a refund as well. They shouldn't have opened if they weren't 100%. We still had a good time though. It just should be some money refunded for our inconvenience since we purchased the king sized season pass
Park was open July 1. Why is not open July 2??

It is open for season pass holders who have made reservations.
Yes! The park is open to the public this day. You need to reserve a spot for entry to the park in addition to a ticket purchase. The reservation can be made at Hersheypark.com
Is chocolate world is apart of the park or do I need to buy tickets for that as well

Is Hershey Park closed or open??

It Opens To The Public July 3rd 2020. And To get in You will need to make reservations before You go to the Park. Masks are Mandatory to get in the park.
Hershey park is it's own entity. Called Hershey entertainment group. They own the park, chocolate world, the giant center, and Hershey stadium.
The Hershey Chocolate factory company and all of its brands are owned by the Milton Hershey school.
The passes we had were one day. We did get to go in the night before at 7:30 and used the same parking pass for the next day. Parking is $15. Hope this helps.
Why is it that you only have roller coaster rides that heavier people can't ride? Not every person in this world is medium built or skinny. We paid good money to get in the park n water park for 2 day n could hardly ride and of the coasters.
Heather Brice | Sep 30, 2019
Puggoo | Sep 30, 2019
I don't know, but lots of the rides are pretty old.
Yes you can visit for a day it like any other Roller coaster or water park. Just that you have the option to stay in their lux hotel. And they have their own chocolate super store of course.
Like any amusement park, the lines can get long depending on the season and day of the week. You will have to weigh the cost/benefit of getting the fast passes.

You can wear any type of shoe at Hershey Park- if the ride is the type where you might lose a shoe, attendants will let you store your shoes for the duration of the ride and go barefoot
No. You can however, keep it in your car and go out to parking area tobeat. You will see several families doing this. Set up like a tailgate party. Just make sure to ckean up any trash. They will stamp your hand to get back in.
There is a lot of picnic areas that don't cost. We went to Hershey world and did all 4 attraction adult were 42 and 12 and under were 36 well worth it. We had a great time.
That is the cost if you buy online. For 2 adults and 2 kids buying online it totalled out to $215 even. If you buy at the park it is about 65 for adults and 46 for kids.
we have purchased 1 day ticket to the park. are we able to come in the park the night before? i read somewhere that we can have preview of the park the night before, but wanted to confirm. if we are able to come the night before, what time?
Jaymi Patel | Sep 30, 2019
Nate Romero | Sep 30, 2019
I think only the 2 day tickets allow the "night before preview". You may have to call ahead just to make sure and ask what time you may enter the park.

$15 to park. Rides are free. Games you need to pay for. We just came back from hersheypark and spent 1 day at the waterpark, and 1 day doing all the other rides. Still didn't hit everything that was available!!! But had a blast!!!
The Hershey Park, for most part closes at 10pm. However, for safety reasons, all of the water base games and attractions, closes earlier. Say like 730 or 8pm. There is 3 hours free parking for all guest
Depends on the age of the adult. Please check Hersheypark.com for ticket prices as there are many different options including senior price, 2 day passes, season passes, all day drink deal, all day meal deal, Fast Track for no waiting in line for certain rides, and a number of others. It's well worth going! Also, you can purchase discounted tickets at any Giant grocery store. Hope you enjoy your trip to "The Sweetest Place on Earth"
Check their website as prices fluctuate depending on specials and the time of year you go. Right now there is an "everyone pays kids price" deal going on for a few more days
That's a question for the Hershey Administration Team but it will cost alot if it is possible. There is some places big enough. But they probably won't go through the troubles.
I think you can just buy a pass to the zoo, you just cannot enter the park without paying an entrance fee. from the park they stamp you with an invisible ink stamp for readmitance from the zoo
Chocolate town isn't open till next year...chocolate world is free, its a big gift shop with pay to experience features like make your own candy bar for $26 a person.
With one standard ticket you get admission for one person and admission to all rides, if you want food or anything else you would have to pay at the restaurants or shops in the park.
I believe that your pass is for that day...but I'm not sure about the parking pass....I do know that when you get there you can go in and out multiple times in that day. Look online and see if there's a number to call for this information..Have fun.😁
The park rules are one sealed bottle of water per person and no outside food allowed. I have seen people sneak small snacks in, but YMMV.

I personally think Sesame Place is better for 2 yr olds. Tickets are right now i think $50. They have a special from now till June 30th i believe to pay kids prices for everyone. Check site to be sure
no, they dont take it. I went in on Saturday with 2 water bottles and snacks in my bag and I was let in. the searches in your bag aren't thorough as well. not sure what the other commenter is talking about.
There is a current online special if you visit http://www.hersheypark.com/tickets/offer.php . The offer goes until June 30, 2019, and tickets are valid all summer. For ages 3+ (1 Day Pass) is currently $46.95 (normal price is $68.85 for a 1 Day Pass). For a 2 day pass for ages 3+ the current online discount is $36 per day (Normal pricing for 2 day pass is $44.50 per day). This is the discount valid only by visiting the link online listed above from the Hershey Park site. For season passes, if you purchase by May 23, 2019, for (ages 9-54) the cost is $171. For ages (3-8 and 55+) it is $155 for season passes via http://www.hersheypark.com/tickets/season-passes.php . You may find another discount somewhere else that you like... these are on the Hershey site. Enjoy! :-)
Yes they do. I believe it's 10% The Hersheypark website gives more detailed information about all the places they give military discounts. I'd also like to say Thank You to the Veteran for your Service!
Hello please be advised it is quite a hike from the park to the parking area drinks in bottles are 3.25 not sure what the fountain drinks are they have an all day deal for 15.80
Sandcastle Cove - Staulßors
Water fun for younger ones! Children can splash, play, and explore the water slides, cannons, water curtains, jets, and pool at Sandcastle Cove attraction. Pool depth reaches depths of 18 inches and is accessed via a zero depth entry ramp.
No idea of the cost. The tour of the chocolate factory is free. They take pictures. If you want them. Then there are different packages available. At different prices. We weren't in the park our visit.
I have a couple questions.... are the add ons really worth it? my niece has allergies and I don't know what all she will be able to eat.
Secondly, do you have to have a ticket for Hersey park to get in Chocolate world?
Sarah Haught | Sep 30, 2019
Ashley Scott | Sep 30, 2019
Chocolate world has a little ride to go on and there is a troll ride which is actually nice plus if u build ur own chocolate bar u can decide what goes in it or not there's stores n such to.. U do not need a ticket to walk into chocolate world either but to do some of the things u need a ticket but their deals are great for a fam of 5 it was 120.00 to do taste testing a movie a troll ride and build ur own chocolate bar
If you bought the season pass for 2 adults a four children then you should be fine. I do suggest with that many people spend the extra 15 bucks for premium parking.
If youre going in June, expect it to be hot and (try not to go if there is potential rain). It will be super crowded, you'll probably get irritated 5-6 times, you'll want to hit at least one person, but tbh it'll be so fun you'll want to go back 80 more times this summer. It's really a great time!
Check online and decide for yourself. You can buy packages if you stay at the hotel or Lodge. Not as bad as Disney.
Even in winter?

The theme park side is not open during winter (where the rides are). But where they sell the candy and have the tours of the manufacturing facility areas are still open even during winter. When I went they had a very cool live band all dressed up as all the different chocolates.
Only a small section of children's rides are open during winter and it's decorated with lights so it's festive. Chocolate World is also open (adjacent to the park) and there are things to do inside.
Yes, went with 5 grandkids. Dad took the 2 older boys 8 and 10 for rides geared for the bigger ones and mom and myself took the 3 younger ones on the little rides. They go by hight and there is plenty of rides for all.
Holiday hours are as follows: 12/23 hours are 12 to 9, Christmas eve 12 to 5, closed 12/25 Christmas, December 26th and 27th the hours are 12 to 9, December 28th and 29th hours 12 to 10, December 30th12 to 9, December 31st hours ate 12 to 5, also ooen January 1st 12 to 5 and the park is closed until May after that
Those are the prices to get entry into the park where the roller coasters are. The Chocolate World building with the candies are free to go in but 'you must pay' for the chocolate you select that you want to take home. They also have a tour that shows how they make the candy with tasting and that is part of the ticket package you select.
No, sorry. No go carts as another very good local guide mentioned. The bumper cars are awesome and it's really fun to bump other cars just remember it's all in fun right?!
Day pass is about $60-70 but with standard discount you can get in for like $50. You should definitely consider getting a season pass though if you start paying 2nd & 3rd days. There are crazy good prices on these before the next season starts.
Wondering...we have tickets for this weekend and have flooding problems. Do you think we will be able to use these tickets for another time? Thanks for any help

If your tix are date-specific, you should call the park to find out about them honoring another day
Three ways to buy food. All season dining pass, all day dining pass and pay for your meals as you see fit in the park. Cash, debit or credit. As stated above with options 1 and 2 you are limited to about 10 to 12 restaurants in the park.
Yes it's open rain or shine but if there's any threat of lightning most of the coasters and electric rides shut down. The boardwalk will close as well if there is lightning in the area.
Hi I the cxost of tickets different at the gate than shown on line? and if more at the gate can you buy the tickets on line minutes .. or an hour or 2 prior to arrival?

Cost is the same online or in person. The only differences are whether you have coupons, Groupons, or a group rate--any of which would be governed by the terms and conditions of the specific offer.
Yes you just need to tell them you have an allergy and they are very accommodating. Just be patient as it will take time for them to comply with the necessary precautions.
On the 9th of August i took my daughter to Hershey park and the workers at the bumper cars where so nasty they were rude and took their dear old time getting the next set of people on the cars it was around 2pm.Did anyone else have this problem?
Shelley Biller | Sep 30, 2018
Matt Lagrotte | Sep 30, 2018
Yea. I did too. I think they put the dgaf folks there. There was a pile up and i had to keep pointing so they're notice and turn off the ride and unjam the cars. Really the only ride i had that experience. Most of the rest of the staff was awesome, friendly and attentive.
What's special about season pass holder events like September 3 2018?

You get discounts but as far as the parking. There isnt any spots close unless you are there when they open. Doesn't make waiting on rides any shorter.
Yes they can at the booth just as you get off the parking lot tram before you enter the park. You can also rent wheelchairs and the motorized scooters.
If you're going to be there all day I would recommend getting the food bracelet. It's $30 and can be used all day. You can get food at different places and will save you at the end of the day. Or you can pack the coolers and come out when hungry or thirsty. You are only allowed one sealed water drink per person so I would also recommend the free refill cups.
Not sure how the band works with breakfast.
We always bring some snacks and drinks for 3 kids.... just enough between meals. I do not think it is a big issue to do so. Yes you can leave the park, they will stamp your hand and then you can get back in.. no problem
I didnt go to the actual park but the factory. You had a tour via a car you ride in to see how candy was made. It was fun. Then of course picture book with us in it. Which you buy. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did and we are seniors. You didnt happen to work ay union nat. Bank. I knew a lady with the same name. Just asking
Has anyone had a problem with undercooked Ribs and chicken while visiting Dietz & Watson at Hershey Park? Or any of the other places that serve Chicken and Ribs at Hershey Park? My wife, my friend, and myself had a bad experience our last visit.

Yes they are 55$ a day and you can rent them right behind customer service before you go in the park

10am but with all the rain they are flooded right now
What do we need to do to have our passes for the park that we received from Hershey Bears games extended beyond July 31st, 2018.

Nothing the tickets are good for all season
A question many say that it is closed because it is flooded is that I want to go this weekend and I want to know if it is true that it is flooded or closed

Hersheypark was reopened today after being closed for only one day, however area flooding may cause them to close again. You will want to check with the park itself the day you plan on visiting to make sure they are open. Hersheyparks Facebook page also stays up to date with closings and openings.

In general the park is non-smoking. There are a few designated smoking gazebos spread throughout the park. Those are supposed to be the only smoking areas.
There is a place where your dog can stay "barking lot" and they do allow service dogs in the park. I do believe you need to bring updated copy of vaccinations.
If you go to their website and look up FAQs you can find more information there.
If you buy a 2 day pass for the park and ends up raining at the time of the purchase, you can go to guest services for a refund. I don't believe you can do that with a 1 day pass, which is what me and my family had. So we made the best of it in the rain. It didn't start raining until an hour after we entered the park.
Are there tickets that cover all rides for the day if so how much
Gregory Orr | Sep 30, 2018
Jose A.G. | Sep 30, 2018
One price covers admission to all Hershey park has to offer ,I went on line and paid 52.95 for a promo so depends where you purchase your ticket it could be higher
When it rains the rides might not be open depending how hard it rains but if it if the rides close for I think 2 hours then you will be able to get another admission ticket and if you enter the park after 7:30 PM then you will get an extra 3.5 hours the next day and also if you enter the park after 6:30 PM on labor day then you will get the 3.5 hours also
I just was there last week and I believe I read that along with getting your hand stamped on the way out you should also hold onto your ticket stub. It is the stub that gets you reentry to the parking lot.
There was a promo pay 44 till June 30, however the site is very confusing to on line book.
I called spoke to Alyssa she was so helpful and broke down the cost and what was included
Yes, I rent one at every trip to the park. $45 for the full day, $55 if you want a canopy. Must leave your driver's license. Enjoy. Don't forget to stop by Park Relations to pick up a handicapped access pass.
If you reserve a cabana and see the weather is not good can you get a refund?
Paula Bartholomew | Sep 30, 2018

Unfortunately I can not give you a definitive answer but you might find the answer on their website or you can call and they will answer all of your questions.
ECV rental price: $45.00. Manual wheelchair rental price: $15.00. Lockers are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and located inside the Park entrance, in Founder's Way, and at several locations in The Boardwalk. Lockers are rented by the day.
When you purchase your tickets online, you can download them on your phone and show them at the booth. You don't need a paper copy of the ticket. Just show it on your phone.
Absolutely! But if thunderstorms then most roller coasters and possibly other rides will temporarily close until it eases up, of course depending on how bad the storm is. There are plenty of indoor activities and attractions as well. But if your Me, then hopefully you'll get on Lightning Racer when thunderstorming to get the full shocking affect! ⚡
If you buy online by the 30th you pay kids prices, $44.99. after the 30th, prices go up to $66.99. the cost includes all rides, including the monorail. Food and carnival type games are additional $$. You can also do the park preview with your ticket the night before and get stamped the day of if you want to leave the park and return the same day. Parking is also an additional fee.
No, the park is all integrated. Buy your tickets on line and save about $20 each. That also gets you in the night before you go, which is great as you can almost walk onto any ride, very short lines. On line tickets are about $45.00.
I believe the cabanas can be reserved. Try reserving to make sure one is available. The Cabana's are by the lazy River and I believe you can come and go at your leisure.
Hershey offers three areas to stay, the lodge, hotel and campgrounds. Transportation to parks is free and if starting at a Hershey property, you get into the park at 6pm of the evening before your ticket date. All lodging has pools.
Check offer up, fb market place, craigs list for people selling tickets. You can get them a lot less expensive. You can get a discount rate if you buy tickets at the giant grocery store.
The prices vary. You can find many places to buy discount tickets. There are coupon books available and if you know someone with a season pass, you can recieve some discounts. A family of four, including parking, drinks/food and tickets can easily go above $200 for the day.
I personally don't find it amazing. It's interesting, but once was enough. We don't go when we go to Hershey. For kids it's fantastic. My son was 4 when we took him and he really thought it was amazing. Plus you get free miniatures candy.
The park in general is quite friendly to physical challenged people. Doors, restrooms, rides etc all have accommodations for the physically challenged. I know they rent some child strollers and I have seen a few motorized wheelchairs around. Whether they rent the motorized wheelchairs or it's on a first come first serve basis to use for free, I can't tell.
There are many areas thought the park to sure and eat. I believe you can bring food into the park, but it is an amusement park and not a picnic ground so there are no grilling facilities.
We are here now. Cant beat season passes and meal and drink packages. If you buy before December 31st. Best price and you can make monthly payments. Now we have free drinks all year and two meals everytime we here.
Sometimes you can go to online yard sales and get tickets for $35 or less. Gotta put it in the In Search of Area asking for 5 tickets. People with season tickets Bears games sometimes sell the tickets they got during season. Doesn't hurt to look.
You can get fast pass. Which costs extra money, if you have enough. But lines are long, especially on fridays and the weekends. So if you want to get through all the rides in the park I suggest getting the fast pass
No, it's a lot of up and down. Check out Chocolate World though! Right next to the park, it has a huge gift shop, food area, get a Hershey Milkshake and the best part is the free Hershey Factory tour, its a short 5-7min ride showing the Hershey Factory Process. You also get a free piece of Chocolate at the end of the tour! This is a must see if you are a 1st timer to Hershey, PA. Check out the Hershey Hotel on top of the hill, outlets are close, and downtown Hershey has some great restaurants!
Loads of rides, especially for kids! The water park is especially awesome, but go early because of a lack of shade (when you want to escape the sun). As others have stated 2 days/1 night is the way to do Hersheypark. If you stay at their hotel (which has amazing food), you get early/late park access just like Disney does.
They have a ride that shows what goes on in the chocolate Factory, its located inside Chocolate World, and its FREE. They no longer tour the actual Factory.
They were open from 10 am to 9 pm for springtime in the park, but the hours are going to change for the summer. They will be closed for a week and reopen at the end of April for the beginning of summer season.
How much would it cost for one 3 year old,one 14 year old,one 13 year four adults and one 12 year old but it’s for the 12 year old and one of the adults birthday in the summer ?
You can look up how many there are online. You tell them they will give you a free king size their fav candy at the end of the ride. That will only work on the first one unless you go buy the candy to give to them.
What is the best way to carry money on you while on the rides? The only thing I have been able to come up with is zipper pockets.
Calandra Colitas | Sep 30, 2018
Ed Ronan | Sep 30, 2018
Zipper pockets work. It is also a water park so need to keep dry. Zip lock bags but lockers are available throughout the park. Use the lockers as great possible.
World of chocolate opens before rhe park. We did it first and were able to park very close so we didnt need to wait on a tram to get us to Hershey Park. When we got to the park, we went towards thw back so we got on rides there and then worked our way to the exit.
$25-$67 per person depending on age and time of year you visit. Peak summer is the most expensive. You can purchase summer tickets online now and get 40% off. And you can also visit Giant grocery stores and purchase tickets at customer service at a discount. If you plan on going more than one day you can save by getting a multi day pass. If you plan on going more than 3 times get a season pass that includes parking and discounts on food and merchandise.
It ranges depending on what you purchase , most things are priced higher then it would be if you go to a fast food place but it ranges between 5-40 depending on if u are buying for u or ur family
Best to call them to find out what's open. Doubtful it will snow in April but in today's times anything is possible. Water park will probably be closed so call and check to see if the rides you want to go on will be open.
The park is not open to the public until Spring time in the park, you can drive around on the public roads and see a lot of what they are building, and Zoo America and Chocolate World are open.
You are asking about what hotels are near by while using Google maps...? You seriously took longer to ask this question and waiting for a response. You are more then capable of looking at the map and searching hotels near by.
It should be opened throughout February.
It is free to go into the park!! You'll see the chocolate fountain during the ride, and it is behind glass walls, sorry!!
The amusement park isn't running running rides but they have a couple of huge Christmas displays going plus the zoo. Generally the park is open at 5pm until around 10 on weekdays and at noon on weekends. The zoo is open at 10am however.
The regular season has already ended. They're currently in a Halloween season open only on the weekends for fewer hours. They start a Christmas season soon after which runs through the end of the year.
Yes. Print and present a military discount coupon at the Hersheypark front gate with a validmilitary ID to save $20 off the price of Regular (ages 9-54) One Day admission and $4 off Junior (ages 3-8) or Senior (ages 55-69) One Day admission.
The admission ticket covers all the rides in hersheypark but there are other attractions too in the vicinity like hershey factory etc for which you need to pay separately
The only dogs allowed in the park are service dogs. In the season pass holder parking lot there is a place to take your dog, but it fills up quickly so I wouldn’t count on it.
The parking lot is huge, I'm certain you can find a spot; however, I don't think you will find any long term parking with water/electric hook ups if that is what you are looking for.
This Saturday is pass member day .. do u know if pass members can buy extra tickets 4 a friend on this day?
Thomas Haynie | Sep 30, 2017
Bela Papp | Sep 30, 2017
Most likely. I can't imagine they wouldn't sell extra tickets for money.
