No sandals on water rides in the water park, but you can water shoes. They have a few water log rides in the main park you can wear sandals on if they strap around the back of ur foot, no flipflop styles.

Ok season pass holder here. In water park (the boardwalk) mostly its about not losing your footwear. Most ride attendants seem ok as long as it's attached footwear like watershoes or cross with sling in the back. Ultimately I wouldn't recommend flip flops as you are likely those them on slides or slip, but other sandals are fine IMO.

Yes you can. We wore crocs everywhere. The wave pool they didn't want us to but we did anyway. We had zero issues.
