You can pack food and leave it in the car. If you have young children and child snacks they will over look it. You can bring water in the park. We picnic at the car to save money and then re-enter the park.

Small snacks probably. We always keep a cooler in the van with snacks and drinks to limit concession spending. Go back to the car, turn on the AC, have a snack, quick rest, back to Hershey fun!!!

They allow 1 sealed water bottle per person, which is ok since you can refill it with water at any soda fountain station. They do go through bags but their priority is looking for contraband.
We were just there last weekend, we brought in bottles of water and noone said anything. Our bags were not checked. I would say yes but don't go overboard.
We brought in beach bags with towels and s Bathing suits. We did have a few bottles of water. At entrance nobody looked in our bags, so I would think you can bring in snacks

They go thru your bag but never once took out my granola bars or protein shake. So I would say yes. But I wouldn't go overboard incase
