Only about 1 animal per display. And some where empty.

It's definitely worth the $13 adult ticket price. It's a rehabilitation site, so you dont feel bad that the animals are all caged up, plus most of them are active and moving around; sometimes even coming straight up to you. Very cool and well designed park, would go again if I ever come back to Hershey Park ☆☆☆☆☆

1st family trip in September 2022. This is a nice 11-acre North American wildlife refuge zoo. My family of 3 spent 2 hours in the zoo. It was leading up to closing time. We could have easily spent 2 1/2-3 hours to thoroughly see and appreciate all. So glad we got to visit Zoo America.

Ages 9 & up is $11.50, ages 3-8 is $9.50. however if you are buying a Hershey Park pass, zooamerica is included. The ticket prices above are just for entrance to the zoo.
They are open everyday from 10 am to 8 pm. Hours will change on August 11th though and then again in the fall.
It has a gift shop. Not many animals , it's a small zoo. One snack bar with , hotdogs, nuggets , fries, pizza Nachos and drinks .
If you have tickets to Hershey Amusement Park the Zoo is included. There is a bridge that connects the Amusement Park to the Zoo. You do need to get your hand stamped so you can return to the Amusement Park. They will stamp your hand as you cross the bridge.
It is wheelchair accessible... however, it has 2 or so rather large hills... If you do not have someone strong to push, it may be challenging I am not sure about an accessibility discount but it's possible.
No, we just went to ZooAmerica, parked right there, and paid at ZooAmerica

I believe it about $12 per person if you enter just zoo American.
Just an FYI... tickets can be purchased at ZooAmerica....in the gift shop..... where the expensive stuffed animals are.
I was there two weeks ago and folks brought Sheetz food in and ate in the zoo. I wouldn't make it a huge carry cooler with 3 course picnic but a. Basic lunch maby
I think it is I was there two weeks ago to drop off feed for dear
Yes they are open almost every day and you can feel free to take pictures
13.85 for each adult over 9. 5 yrs old is 11.85.
According to their website, adults (age 9-61): $13. 62 & up: $11. Children (3-8): $11. Under 2 is free.
You can purchase your tickets online or at the gate. If your at Hershey Park, your admission would.be free with your day at the park.
You may buy them at the door!
Wheelchair rentals are available at Hersheypark which is connected to Zoo America. Wheelchairs can be rented for $5.00.
I can't remember if there is a chameleon, but the reptiles are on display in a building and all the buildings are currently closed :(
I showed up with my wife and the zoo you did not have to reserve
It was $13 per adult, $11 for kids from 3-8, and free for 2 and under
Looks like it's $20 off admission according to the website.
It depends on how much you spend time looking at the exhibits. There are videos in places you access with smartphones. I give 1 to 2 hours
You can check on Hershey Careers. They are always hiring. You can also start volunteering and get a permanent position later.
Lots of hotels and motels in Hershey. Hours are 10:00 to 5:00 with extended hours in the summer.
ZooAmerica is not free to the public. If you buy a park ticket, zoo admission is included. You can also buy a ticket for the zoo only.
Its free. Its part of hershey park. But i wouldnt have paid for it separately. Cute for the kids but kinda lame... 😒
I know they will host groups but no moveable zoo.
You do not have to buy park tickets to go to the zoo. There is a separate entrance if not going to the park. In regards to cost I am not sure because we went to the park and it is included with admission. Hope that I was of some help
Yes. Absolutely. It's also stroller friendly. Have fun!
Not sure have to find out from Hershey park itself
They do not have dolphins but they have a lot of really awesome animals that are native to North America. It is a way to learn about and see animals that live in the U.S. Like taking a cool tour of the U.S. without leaving Pennsylvania. I hope you enjoy your visit!
It's called Zoo America because they only have animals native to North America.
Both actually. There are more outdoor exhibits than indoor. Most of the birds, and animals are in outdoor enclosures. But there are indoor areas including tropical aninals like fish snakes and so on. I was there over Christmas, and although it was cold, the animals were outdoors and actually seemed happier than they do when it's a hundred degrees out during the summer.
If you take your time about an hour and a half.
I had to 12 year olds in a 10 year old they really enjoyed it. There are about 40 or so animals
NO!
You can go into the zoo from the park. Don't think there is a shuttle just to the zoo.
Part of Hershey Park tickets. About ten dollars to just do the zoo.
ZooAmerica has it's own parking and it's free.
There is a separate lot for the zoo off of rt 422
You should check out the zoo's website, social media pages, and/or call them. Asking a question via Google Maps does not get you in contact with an official representative from the location.
it's open all year round i believe is 10am
