My partner has barely a month going here and already hating this place their service their time waits. Some staff their are really nice but some just don’t know how to act right and feel like they don’t take their job or their position seriously. And just to get medicated the wait time is unbelievable because of short staff. To my opinion I feel like they just care about charging our insurance and giving out the meds. I might end up trying a different location.

Aegis is a 5 +star rating . I've been an active addict for about 37 , 38 yrs, have been to quite a few in-house rehabs , including the penitentiary, the SAP program. They all worked, well, faked it, till I was completely strung out . Aegis is working for me, I've been on program for 7 yrs, I've used through the whole time, slowly but surely I've slowed down! For me ! WOW ! THAT IS A MIRACLE ! I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT FOR THE LAST 6,7 MONTHS I HAVEN'T STUCK A NEEDLE ANYWHERE IN MY BODY, I cal it blood of the devil. ( heroin )it's death . Couldn't have done it with out Aegis Treatment Center . THANK YOU EACH & EVERY ONE THAT WORKS & HAS WORKED THERE .I APPRECIATE YOU ALL .

I have been going here for the past 3 years off and on. This place is a joke. They do the very bare minimum to keep their methadone flowing to the masses. The staff is underpaid and they have a constant turn over of employees. I am on my 6th counselor in 3 years. The office staff is alsooverwprkes and confused most of the time. The office staff need more training.They give you an appointment time that doesn't mean anything. You show up to the appointment and told the doctor is not in today, and to come back tomorrow. Very unprofessional.

Yes but dosing windows are only open until 1:30.
They do have counseling and support groups to7 help with recovery skills. They have several different types of groups and a group for meth recovery group. Not sure what the criteria is for starting the process but just call down there they can answer questions.
Yes they recently started accepting medicare. So now is your chance. I really hope you already got the help yuh need.
Aegis accepts Medi-Cal, most private insurances, veteran's insurance and self-pay.
Take your ID and insurance card then just walk in on a doctor day. You can call for doctor days. Go early, they open at 5am. They will walk you through the process. It is longer than most doctor visits, so dont go in a rush.

The days change depending on doctor availability and location. Best to call the clinic closest to you. Bakersfield locations usually have at least 3 days per week you can admit.
Yes, you are required to attend counseling once a week for fifty mins, your counselor acts in many capacities they converge with you but also advocate for you in matters such as aquireing more and more take homes. I have not met one counselor that does not strongly advocate for and show deep care for their fellow people trying to bring their lives into order
Omni messed up my suboxone appointment for a refill with the wrong doctor will they be able to give me them tell the 23rd I'm scared I'm going to relapse could I go in tomorrow and be seen
No, they only have a Dr. there during the week, and then only til 12:30pm. Also they say to get there by 10 am if you are a new patient.

I'm not sure but it's worth trying, if anything they can get things started because intake is a long process.

You would have to had set up a plan to courtesy dose at your home clinic BEFORE leaving. Upon doing so, you'd be given info on available clinics for you to get medicated, hours of operation, necessities, etc, in your visiting city,
