The park is not free, but there may be senior citizen discounts. Right now everyone can get tickets for the summer season for 40% off. You can visit parts of Chocolatetown and Chocolate World for free.

When we went I don't know if it was their first day reopening but all we had to do was go online and schedule the time we wanted to go in. Other than that it was free to get in. And that was on february 27th
