Loads of rides, especially for kids! The water park is especially awesome, but go early because of a lack of shade (when you want to escape the sun). As others have stated 2 days/1 night is the way to do Hersheypark. If you stay at their hotel (which has amazing food), you get early/late park access just like Disney does.
Yeah there are more rides then you can do in a day. I think there are around 7-8 roller coasters that go from pretty tame to really extreme. They have a nice kids section and a water park open in the summer. If you plan on going i would recommend at least 2 days to fully experience everything because the lines can get pretty long, over an hour for the more popular coasters

Yes there are plenty of rides for adults and children and to be honest with some of the long lines i doubt you would be able to get on every single ride in 1 day
There are many rides there. We didn't get a chance 2 ride everything
Yes. There is a map on there website that shoes all of the rides including an awesome water park.
