I have been to many amusement parks around the country and for my money Dollywood is one of my favorites. The park is always clean and looks great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of food and drink options. The rides are very cool and a good mix for all ages. The roller-coasters are a lot of fun. Wait times are not bad. Summer festival is very cool. We spent 12 hours in the park. Tons of activities and things to do. Will be an annual tradition for us.

We really enjoyed Dollywood, our first visit. 9 of us went, ages 2 to 60, and we all really had a great time. From roller-coasters to shops and shows....everyone was happy. Practically no wait times today at all. Dollywood is gorgeous from the mountains to the flowers to adorable plant sculptures.... Music is always playing somewhere and the family atmosphere is so cool.

Living one hour from Hershey, PA it's only natural that Hershey Park is my metric for other amusement parks. I've heard about the shows at Dollywood but they weren't showing when we were there. The layout of the park is decent enough but it seemed to be lacking in thrill rides. They have 9 coasters where Hershey has 15. I have no issue with the quality of the rides but when you have less rides the wait times will inevitably rise. Although I will give them props. The pretzels were awesome. 10 bucks a pop but they were huge. At least twice the size of Auntie Anne's. I noticed quite a few booths were empty and there were no open photo booths after the coasters. Maybe the worker shortage or all considered the off season. I had fun but $90 is way too much for what is offered. Hershey is only 55. I downloaded the app called Dollywood and it worked great for the first 1-2 hours but it stopped reporting wait times before lunch which made it hard to plan. Still, as always, you should check out and decide for yourself.

AMAZING, we came here for spring break. It was great that ticket prices included all rides. There is PLENTY for everyone to do. This is a great family vacation place. You won't be disappointed. Great food choices also. We were all happy. Wait times was not too bad. They post the wait times, but if you download the app, you'll see wait times of other rides and also give directions as you walk. Great place
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
They check my bag, see the food and water and say nothing.I took in water bottle and bologna sandwiches on Oct. 4, 2017. I also take lemonade mix to add to the free water in my mug.
The only free parking is w a gold pass. Otherwise they are correct standard parking is 12.00
Yes, lots of benches and lots of shade.
Ticket Type Regular (Ages 12+) $69 + tax Child (Ages 4-11) $56 + tax Senior (Ages 60+) $64 + tax 1-Day Theme Park Or you can get a 3 day pass for $99
Did you ever figure it out because I’m in the same boat?
Yes I am here April 12, 18 and I'm using the cups I bought in 2017
They do have some but they have a limited amount. If you call and they dont have any, you can get them from Scooter Sales and Rentals about 8 minutes away. They have several varieties and you can also get accessories like walker holders, cane holders, etc.
Yes its just because they don't want anyone to bring in weapons but sometimes they don't.
Yes, they are required but they have designated mask free zones in the park and you're allowed to take them off while you're sitting down to eat.
If you like rides and shows it's a great place to visit.
Yes and scooters to I believe. There is a mobility service center near the front park entrance worth checking with upon paying.
Recommend you reserve one they go fast. You can do that via 800# or on web site.
It depends on the cabin & the company managing its rental. Most have a minimum night requirement of 2-3 nights, some require a week in peak seasons. When you search online, it should tell you the rule for each cabin.
She usually participates in a parade in May. It is currently undecided as to when she will be on the park this year. That comes from an employee in a management position.
The County Fair is a good place for 3 year olds. It's a subpark in D.W.
If you have kids it will take more than a day to see and do everything. Use the after 3 option and get the second day free and should be able to see it all
1-Day Theme Park Ticket. ... U.S. active or retired military, disabled veterans, and military reservists, spouses and dependents receive our special military ticket when valid military personnel IDs and dependent IDs are presented. Unfortunately, this offer cannot be made available to other family members and friends. ( Its 30% )

There is a special center tlwherr you can obtain a pass as well as a color coded bracelet that will help you get into shorter lines as well as ahow you what rides she will be able to ride based on her disability
I think you can, i know when season passes are available you can download them for a temporary till you get there & they print them.
We had that same problem. Just have to keep trying until it finally frees up.
Yes
It opens at 10:00 am! I'd recommend getting there early so that there aren't as long of lines.
Yes. Dollywood will be open the week of Thanksgiving for their Christmas Celebration. It is a beautiful time to visit the park. . Go to www Dollywood.com for hours of operation.
Open 10 to 8...must order tickets on line because they are limiting the amount of guests
They are restricting the number allowed in the park, so reservations and face masks are required.
Season passes are per person...passes very in price from young, to adults, to seniors..the new season begins March 14, 2020...that's when the park opens
I suggest calling the Dollywood information center to make sure prices are listed true at time of purchase. Prices vary on many occasions to accommodate families and/or individuals.
No the last time i rented one they was like 30 but thats been several yrs
Opens at 9. Rides open at 10
Is the wheelchairs are motorized and no you do not have to reserve them just get there early enough to get you pick one you can get one without a canopy or one with a canopy they had one without a canopy is only 38 in the one with the canopy is 48 dollars
No long lines yesterday....a great day to go.... Shows just comfortably full... Makes it fun
Yes you can, even better than a wheelchair they have motorized scooters and baby strollers for rent as well
Yes..looks really nice..i think its called DOGGYWOOD.:)
Yes they do. I believe they are $38 dollars for the day.
Yes, they stamp your hand
Thank you all sounds great
No certain age just buy a ticket and have a good time.😀😀
U do not need to reserve it just pick it up
There was an elementary school choir there performing the day I was there, so I'd say they do, but you'd have to work that out with Dollywood itself.
Mondays are connected to the weekend for a lot of holidays thus Tuesdays are a logical choice.
No they no longer offer that option. We inquired about that offer 2 days ago and were informed it was no longer offered
You are allowed to ride the ride as long as you're tall enough. No one can stop you from wearing your chacos, but if the ride goes upside down or goes high up, the workers will simply recommend you take off your shoes. But you won't have too
Depends on the day. This week is 2pm. Check the schedule on their website in advance.
I want to say they are like 30$ for 2 mugs. I always order mine with season passes online cause it's cheaper
We went on yesterday which was 12/13 it was pretty busy but we had a good time
I WAS TOLD its too late. That's why we went and made the best of it. NOT. 100% SURE.
I would call ahead to just make sure they aren't at capacity
Must purchase a theme park ticket to see the Smoky Mountain Christmas lights
Call Dollywood to find out!
I would check. They only allow a limited number of people into the park because of covid-19. I would call and check
They are extremely accepting and kind
At this time during covid-19 and the fall season you do. Check out the website it has some awesome information! (Keep in mind they are closed Tuesdays and Thursdays at this time)
Yes, but in the park it wasn't really enforced unless you were in line or actually on a ride.
You should be able to find a way to contact them on the Dollywood website. I hope that helps. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Download the Dollywood app. It lists the rides and minimum height requirements
Right now there is an online only deal, which offers the childs admissions price regardless of age and a free souvenir cup, which allows for unlimited $0.99 refills. I think the cup is normally $14.99. Arrive as early as possible. It's nice to beat the crowd and have short wait times to ride. If it's an extremely busy day, the fast pass is ideal. It does come at an additional charge but definitely worth it when the park is crowded and you are waiting 45 minutes to an hour for 1 ride. If riding water rides, bring extra clothes unless you don't mind walking around in dropping wet clothes. Sometimes you get lucky and don't get too wet but sometimes you get drenched. There are very secure rental lockers to hold your extra clothes if you don't want to carry them around all day.
They're open until further notice. Normal hours. pretend and close an hour early just to be safe and that's more than enough time. Despite what what they say they have been closing an hour early some days.
Dollywood is now open but you need to make a reservation online. When purchasing that Day ticket the system now creates your reservation.
I did see service animals and there is a place to put animals while you are in the park but I didn't see any dogs in the park but service dogs.
On Sunday yes
30% discount on active and retired/disabled veterans.
They are open today from 11 to 9... Check their website for other dates as they have a limited schedule during the holiday season
Lightning Rod is one that will be uncomfortable or impossible for larger people.
There is a TimeSaver counter inside the park next to the Celebrity Theater. You can buy them there in the park if they are available. You can also buy them online and redeem the online voucher in the park.
According to their website prices start at $69 for adults and $56 for children. Hope this helps!
They offer a military discount but I'm not sure about an emergency services discount.
No, but there is an accessibility service center where you can ask what rides you'd be able to ride, or rent a wheelchair/electric wheelchair
I went on a school trip this time but my family goes ever summer and it's usually around 50 or 60 dollars depends on your age really
Checkout the website Dollywood.com and all your questions will be answered
I have been to many amusement parks. With children of all ages. I did not want to go to Dollywood. I went. Loved it. The food. The creative ride line routing (you'll see) Craftsman. Beautiful landscaping. Neat shows. Nice staff. I was wrong. It's a great park for the family.
Kylie s World well Dollywood now has a station as soon as you enter in Park it will actually get your child's height and give your child a color band it will stay what rides can ride
It is actually $84 per head—no senior citizen discount or child discount. $15 just to park.
They are easy to work with
Get them from scooter sales and rentals on parkway . They are cheaper there end are not limited to just a few. You can also ride a child with you.
Yes, there are open-air shuttles that are constantly travelling from the park entrance and exit to the parking lots and back again. There are designated shuttle stop areas at each lot, and that is where you will be picked up and dropped off. The shuttles are free and convenient.
One drink per person and one snack per person. Yes, they have free ice water as much as you want any stand that has soda machine. small cooler may be brought in only for baby bottles or diabetics that have to refrigerate their insulin.
You should be able to look on the Dollywood Dates website but I don't know for sure
Unfortunately, NO . They stopped that program in 2017. We found this out just last week .
Yes. They do have a combination deal. Also, dont forget to get a Gold pass: That card pays for itself very quickly!
Only discounts Dollywood has.... Is the take all your money
I'm sure. The park works very well to accommodate reasonable requests.
They are 38 for non covered and 48 for covered they are limited and it is first come first serve and theybsell out quick. They also offer push wheel chairs and they are 13 i believe
It is 8 hours and 20 minutes away (532.8 miles)
We were there on May 31,2018 and they said they no longer do the 3 pm, next day free. One employee said it may change near end of season.
To pricey,15 dollars to park. Ridiculous.
A gold season pass will pay for itself in savings for parking alone, this goes double if you buy many in-park stuff. There are pretty good discounts that come with it.
Yes you can. They are 41.70 at regular price. Taxes and all. They eill have to walk a good distance to get one.
Service animals yes. There is doggywood where you can drop them off at. It's near where you get tickets
The Dollywood site listed a 30% discount on one day admission tickets for U.S. active or retired military disabled veterans and Military reservists spouses and dependents when valid military personnel IDs and dependent IDs are presented. Dollywood is an avid supporter of active and retired military personnel. You must purchase at the front gate only. Validity dates are March 17, 2018 to January 5th, 2019
If you are from NC and a member of NCSECU you can purchase tickets from there and the discount is that way. Tickets are 66.00 ea.
They have the electric scooters and standard wheelchairs. They rent out fast so best bet at getting one is to be there as soon as they open.
Hahaha...put it in your purse and I'd doubt they would care...we are talking about a rabbit right?...is it an emotional support bunny?
Everything is free but bring money for food and shops. Also $7 if you want a locker.
During the week, but be warned, alot if schools are doing field trips there now. I went 4/27/18, and there were at least 30 busses of children.
the hours are 10am-7 pm this time of year. Ticket booth is at the main gate.
may charge but at discount. Don't see any information about that on web
Yes as soon as you get in Dollywood it is first come first serve
Yes. We were there 2 weeks ago and the weather was perfect, not hot and not cold. We had so much fun.
Yes, straight from silver dollar city season pass info page:. Season Pass Holders save 50% at: Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country(TN), Stone Mountain Park(GA), Wild Adventures(GA), Adventure Aquarium(NJ) and Newport Aquarium(KY). Discount for the pass holder only.
My 2 year old has a great time in the kids area.
They've got a carnival area full of rides for younger kids
They closed around the first couple days of January and they'll reopen March 17th this year.
Like six flags but also has some cool old timey craftspeople and village. There's also a steam train you can ride.
There is a portion of the park dedicated to small children. One great thing about Dollywood is that upon entering the park, you can have your child measured and that will tell you which rides that each child will be able to ride.
Yes they have whatever you might need. Contact guest services. Or visit their website for info.
We had our receipt and pass vouchers from when we ordered online. They let us in without paying for parking when we showed those.
They have a monthly calendar on the website ... I found it very helpful
Next years season passes are not on sale yet. They go on sale in time so you can enjoy the Christmas festivities and decorations. I believe November
Yes. Dollywood is closed on Tuesday and Thursday
There are several cabins in the pigeon forge/Smoky mountains area that are offering deals for evacuees, haven't seen anything about Dollywood though. I know they offer occasional specials on their website i would check there or call them.
Sixty-eight dollars US at the gate with no discount. Dreamland resort visitors get preferred treatment and better rates.
It is opened some in the winter all the water rides are closed. They do close down some in the winter for cleaning and changing stuff in the park. So check with their website to see when and park hours cause they also change in the winter
Yes $69 for seniors
Best way to get answer is to check the app
Yes get a ticket at the train and it will tell you what time to board. All rides are free with price of admission. By the way, absolutely gorgeous at Christmas time. And so is Gatlinburg
Oh really. We did all our stuff online but I'm not real sure why they wouldn't be answering. I believe I remember seeing something now saying they were booked up all through Christmas.
I went the other day and 0 lines and was not busy at all. Parking was not a problem. Have fun!
Tickets are available at the gate but it is recommended you have a reservation to ensure u can actually get in.
I was just there last week and also in November. They are going by reservations when you buy your tickets. Check their winter hours. When I was there last week we went on a Wednesday the hours were 2pm til 9pm. They were closed Monday and Tuesday. They are doing temperature checks and the usual coronavirus related questions.
Call the ticket office. The old policy is if you arrive after 3 pm you can come in again the next day with the same ticket. Not sure if that still applies.
You need to buy your tickets either through the app or on the web. Admission is limited by date.
Yes and if you are on a team or ride they will continually stop until you wear it. This is temporary. It honestly wasn't bad when we went and help keep our noses warm at night.
It's open January 1st 2nd and 3rd
Not sure. I didn't see that in any advertisment. Also, with covid-19 and all, the tickets are limited. They only let a certain amount of people in the park. I would check since things are different now. I hope that helps.
Be there at or before 9. They have scheduled entry times. If you get there late they will still let you in
Sure
We were there Saturday and Sunday. Google said it was closed, but it was open. Check their website.
Check website, and it will depend on what you're planning on doing
Yes
Not this week. Said they would be closed until Monday Nov 9
But you can't get in if they are at full capacity so becareful with that purchase
Yes they reopen on November 7th with their CHRISTMAS LIGHTS DISPLAYS.
Yes they close at 9pm
There's no way around the traffic I would suggest getting there when they first open
You can enter the park for $35 per adult after 5pm.
I'm not sure yet, but we are following to find out also.
Officially opens at 10am but they let people start coming in at 9.30. And it dies close at 9pm
Tram is running
No trick or treat in park. Not that great of a park. Id save your money. Alot of things closed and they don't even offer discount due to things closed.
Sometimes you do and sometimes you don't so it would be best to check with Dollywood
It's my understanding that yes you may use them all
Yes I would check the website. It's not worth the money just to let you know. All entertainment building are all closed etc.
I know that everytime they checked us out they asked if we had a VIP pass for 20% off. We didnt have one.
They have closed the theater buildings, but the open theaters are open and usually start their shows around 12pm or 2pm. Even though several buildings were closed due to Covid-19, my family and I had a blast. Just got back last week went for fall break. Enjoy!! Side note if y'all are looking for a good place to eat Old Mill restaurant is amazing!! It's super busy but you can check out their store and surrounding they have a speaker outside so you can hear your name called 😀
Yep, they will scan your phone. Have fun, the decorations are awesome!! My kids loved it! We were just there last week 😃
I think so, I haven't seen it advertised since late last year. It wasn't posted around the prices at the park either.
Looked like everything was running but one Rollercoaster and it was down for repairs. So I would guess yes. Just check the days in the web site to make sure they are open. They are closed some during the week.
Book @ Oak Haven Resort, you will not be disappointed
I can answer that! Get the Dollywood app. Read the FAQ. There are all kinds of ways to contact them!
Military tickets have to be purchased on site. Just did ours last weekend
They are still open rain or Shine
If you have a season pass, no reservations needed.
Yes if you stay the whole day.
It's gorgeous for Christmas pleases take everybody you know just for Christmas because i cried my firtst Christmas ...they do everything all bigger for Christmas and Ruduop and.all the special reaindeer willl.be.there cause they come by Dollywood everynight just to check on last minute things they might. The only ride closed when we were there last week was the lightening rod. They do have a mask rule. I didn't see any shows open but there were some musicians playing here and there. Dolly stampede, the comedy barn and the lumberjack feud were all running.
Dates and times change best to visit their website dollywood.com
Yes, there are all kinds of fun rides for her! My suggestion would be to go get her height measurements when you first go through gate and they will place a colored band on her wrist and all rides she can ride will be color coded on the map of the park! Admission for 3 years and under are typically free!
Not sure but I think it can be both
No. Sorry look on Facebook market or Amazon maybe
Yes
I never called I went on line for all information
I recommend buying them online in advance, they where requiring reservations for a while.
What do you need to know
The only shows are the outside music and bird show. None of the inside shows are being done at this time nor is the tour bus open or the theater. There are also some food places closed as well and the Christmas store is also closed.
Yes. Except on water rides and while eating. There are areas that are mask free through out the park. These places are posted...MASK FREE ZONE
Rides are open. All the shows are closed as well as alot of the shops. This was on August 8th
No didn't get to see her it would've been nice and take pictures with her
$139 for theme park or $189 for both the theme park & water park https://www.dollywood.com/Tickets/Season-Passes
Sounds like they will
https://www.dollywood.com/Deals/Special-Offers/Military-Discount
Tickets or lodging? I think they have a three day pass for about $120 each, but a season pass is only $140 and right now is good until next June 15th. Single day passes are $80. I am sure you can finding lodging starting at $100 a day.
They offer a time saver pass that cost more to skip the lines. I'm sure that would help.
You can bring enough food for you and your family.
If you call the 800 number it leaves an option to have them call you back. They e always called me back the next business day
The park is open everyday of the week, but you do have to make a reservation and purchase tickets before hand. They are doing this so they will be able to keep the capacity numbers down. Ijust went this past Tuesday. The below website is their tickets if you don't have a season pass. If you have any further questions please let me know. https://www.dollywood.com/Tickets
You would have to call Dollywood. In the past, if you did not use your pass the prior year,. It was null and void. You have to buy a new pass for the current season
Yes call or go to their website www.dollywood.com
About $69 & $59
March 14th
Yes for those over 62 both for season pass and 1 day admission
It's $79 per adult for one day according to their website.
Gold pass ticket gives you 20% discount on most purchases including food.
https://www.dollywood.com/tickets 3 day passes are 109. If going more than once a year to take in the multiple festivals, harvest and Christmas are great, you cant go wrong with annual pass. If you go annual pass route get one gold pass it provides free parking 15 bucks a day and 20% off anything in the park.
There are many things other than the rides to be done. Music, animals etc. It's actually very pleasant.
To my knowledge those tix provide access to dollywood for two days during a 5 day period. Water park would be an add on
There is a new campground close called The Ridge Outdoor Resort that is nice, with large sites. If you are wanting strictly motorhome resort there is one in Sevierville called The Dell Motorcoach Resort I believe. Hope this helps.
$60 as of 2019 for seniors 60 and over. This price does not include tax. This is according to the Dollywood website.
3 and under is free, 4-9 is $69. This is price for 1 day pass.
Did you buy those at Dollywood or online? Has your husband visited the park and used his gold pass yet? If he has not visited the park yet since buying the pass they may be willing to transfer. If he has been to the park and used the pass then it is unlikely that they would transfer.
You can do exactly what I did, just go onto the website. They have all kinds of specials and food packages, better prices than those so called deal websites.
I have it but missing the last 30 minutes
Yes but not everyday here is the link so you can check your dates. https://www.dollywood.com/Calendar
Yes, but they won't let you use it to get in.
Their dates and hours vary. It's best to go by their official calendar found at https://www.dollywood.com/Calendar.
Donnita answered all your questions and I can't add more than it is a park for everyone
Just don't lose your ticket stub and you can re-enter
Yes, they do. We were there last friday which was a school day and there was no one there. Fastpass was a waste as we got off the ride, and basically walked right back on. Weather was also great so that wasn't why it wasn't busy.
Yes, I think they go on sale the first part of November.
It looks like April answered the question. I loved the park, fun for everyone!
There are designated smoking sections throughout the park and they are clearly labeled and easy to find
No. Look on the website. They have a pop you can buy and reuse all over the park all day. Snacks in back pack
purchase your Season Passes by Feb. 17 to receive TWO BAFF tickets for 2019! That means you receive two tickets for every Season Pass purchased—one is for the spring (March 25 – April 28) and the other is to bring a friend during the late summer (Aug. 28 – Sept. 25).
That's a very open ended question. What are you trying to bring?
They're usually open from 10-7 however hours change often so I suggest checking the website before heading that way . I will say that they will be having extended hours for about 2 more days I believe for summer

If you are part of the armed services, you get a pretty sizable discount. Also if you go on their website, you can use honey, which is this software program that finds discount codes. It is completely safe, and there is no contract, or price. So completely free.
It would depend what type of tickets you got season or one day just depends
How would I go about getting some and who would I contact?
You can get a discount, but not as much. Current year's cups have 0.99 refills. However, previous years' cups are $3.99. Water/ice water is free.
No I don't think you get local discount but I got my tickets from my job. You may want to do the same and see if your job offers discount tickets. The tickets from my job I could use them whenever I wanted.
You can buy passes for more than one day at a time I think you can reserve up to 4 or 5 days
It's open until 9:30 from the 1st-4th. Then until 8:00 from the 5th - 10th. From the 12th on, they close at 7:00
Typically it is less busy monday-wednesday because everyone likes to go there on the weekend, but it is always busy no matter what day of the week.
If it's before you go to the park, I'd imagine calling them would be a start. We buy ours online and print them.
I know that you can get a discount if you are an aarp member online not sure if you can buy tickets tho
The season ends first week of Jan after Christmas every year..for park employees may b but not tourists
I believe it starts right after Thanksgiving. We were there at the end of October and there were none of the setups done yet.
Yes,make sure you print them out if you can are check your email for them And get the confirmation number . Enjoy Dollywood I love it and my family.I always buy one gold pass for free parking.
Yes they provide stroller's , single or double stroller's.Also they have scooter's for the elders. You can rent them for the time there at Dollywood.
We upgraded a 1 day ticket this past Sunday, and were given a voucher for bring a friend. When we bought our season passes in March we also got them.
There is something for everyone. Rides, shows, exhibits, games, food,...
Bring a friend days are on certain days you need to check your ticket for those dates
I am pretty sure it comes with season passes and gold passes only so if say just ask for one
You can buy the souvenir cups for $11.99 and you can get unlimited refills for $0.99 each time. You can keep bringing the same cup back anytime the rest of the year and still get the $0.99 refills!
Honestly not much wouldn't recommend if you know there is going to be heavy rain anything outside is shut down
I think u be ok
I am a retired military veteran and I have a card that says so and I can use that there, nevertheless my father was only in a short number of years and says if you were in, you can get the words veteran on your driver's license in some states, you may be able with a VA card also. You should have a DD-214 from the military if you were ever in. Either way you will probably need to go online to register if you have not already. Retired military spouse or active-duty military spouse should also have a military dependents card that might be acceptable.
No she will never sell it. That was an April fool's joke. She is actually building on and opening Wildwood with 6 new rides and allot of shops and more resteraunts May 11th.
Yes you need to purchase a ticket.
No. you have to pay the general admission price just to get into the park. And parking is $15 a car...
Yes you can, there were numerous people there with there own. It's like $40 to rent one of theirs.
Discount on their website right now for season pass. Ok, it's 56 per child and 69 for adults online today
No you still have to pay for your admission. No one gets in without a ticket.
Yes, only under 2 is free. There is so much that your child can do!!
I do believe so. but check there website for hours
Yes. 2019 calendar link is here: https://www.dollywood.com/Calendar
Depending on when you come it can be useful, but everytime i go it would be a waist of money cause of the short lines. But summer time its nice if you dont like waiting
It used to be silver Dollar City and Dolly Parton ended up buying the theme park and changing the name
Yes. I don't remember the name though.
Current pricing, not including tax, starts at $69 for adults, $56 for children, and $64 per day for seniors. For even more fun, visit Splash Country Water Park starting at $49 per day.
Yes, there is a section of rides for younger visitors. They will have a blast, it is such a fun park with great shows and beautiful scenery. I'm not sure about the cam question. There is a viewing scope to see the eagles closer, the kids may enjoy that
The instances she is there are random and rare, but occasionally she may post a schedule of when she will show up on the Dollywood website
No
Yes all rhe buildings are accessible
All the rides will be running in October..... Even the water rides.
There is some. Not bad at all!
Yes they do, unsure of price
March 16th
I think the 2018 season ends 1/7/2019. But call or go online to verify.
Cost is 15 dollars to park at dollywood
This week, 2 to 9. Saturday and Sunday 11 to 9. Gold pass members get to enter the park earlier
No, not at all. Its super busy fri., sat., sun. from my experience
I believe the website says the peak is from 7:30-8:30pm. And it even tells you how miss the crowds.
Online you have the option to buy the package that includes both parks. Otherwise you can buy one or the other.
Depends on the show. There are many small shows going on throughout the park that are free for the guest to sit an enjoy. Other shows within the theaters do cost a small admission fee.
You can get rentable strollers, but not those little wagons
There is a park main office maybe they can help. Or email through dollywood website
I went this past weekend and it was busy but the lines didn't have really long lines.
I'm not 100% but I would think by the front gate. To be completely sure, I would call Dollywood's customer service and I'm sure they could answer that better.
I know they rent the things you drive, so I'm sure they have wheelchairs as well.
Yes. The rides have places to store your things. They will let you put flip-flops there.
No that has ended two weeks ago I called them and they confirmed it they do not do that anymore. It was replaced with another system
You can go during Sevier County days for $5, then use that ticket towards a discounted season pass. If you reserve your 2019 season pass right now you get 9 months to pay for it and you get to be among the first to go into the new section called Wildwood Grove
Yes, but you have to buy the tickets at the gate to get the discount. Only the military member or veteran gets the discount.
I'm a size 12 with big bottom and thighs, in some rides I felt that if I weighed a little more I might not fit.
I have seen stroller fans up there i am not sure if they sell them
No but you can get free ice water anywhere that has drinks. I have a friend that takes a back with drinks in.
During the summer, they are open until 10 p.m. Their hours are different after Labor Day and at Christmas
Not that I am aware of...
Yes if there is any chance of harm to the public the park closes if it rains real bad certain coasters close
The park is open until 10 PM. A one regular day pass is $70+tax. Only those 9 and under can use a child's ticket.
Does the one day pass include unlimited rides all day?
Call and ask them. They may ship them out.
We stayed from open to 3 or 2 to close
Yes ,you could call the ticket office & talk to them .
Yeah but get there before all the people with "thyroid problems" get them and park them out side of the buffet and eat for hours.
A very few snacks for toddlers. They will check backpacks and such as you enter the gate. Food and drinks are very expensive inside the park.
We have been going to Dollywood and Splash Country for years and have never once seen her anywhere, nor heard anyone suggest or mention her presence. I do know years ago, people spoke of her attendance occasionally but I think those days are over.
Not sure if you have AAA, but we found deal for 3 days 2 parks for $100 price per ticket when purchased online. Also it's $15 per day for parking.
We were just there the end of June. Pleasantly surprised at the short lines. Not to hot either!
A park with rides and games and such. Similar to six flags and/or carowinds.
They have senior tickets for people 62 plus for $74.95. AAA offers discount tickets. Not sure about senior ones though.
Yes check it out on Dollywood getaway online
Wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicle (or ECV, similar to a scooter) can be rented for a daily rental fee of $38 for ECVs and $12 for wheelchairs. These are available in limited quantities at the Stroller & Wheelchair Rental, located at the park entrance.
Depending on where you're driving from, 10-15 minutes.
No unfortunately Dollywood doesn't have anything else available not sure why
On the website it says $38 a day. 24 hours notice required.
Yes just get yoyr hand stamped before yiunkeave tge oark.
Yes. You may use last years cup.
No.. tickets will be good through end of 2018 season
My mother works at a local hospital and through her HR dept she got me, my wife and our daughter tix at a big discount (which I later upgraded to season passes). If you have a connection like that it could save you a hundred bucks or so on 6 tix??
They have handicap parking, and you can be dropped off at the entrance.
You need to contact Dollywood.
Day passes are $69+tax. Season passes are $99+tax. Parking is $15/day. Food is around $10 - $20 per meal.
I know it used to be after 3. But am not sure if it's still available
Sorry if I misinformed someone. I thought it was still their policy. I will try to be more informed before I post.
2 parks, 1 day
As Emon.stated if you arrive after 3:00 p.m. you can come back the next day for free. But there is no discount for arriving late.
No. The train is included in the cost of the park ticket. It only departs at the top of every hour so I would arrive at least 15 minutes prior.
Yes. Also, if you stay in a dollywood cabin, your tickets are valid for the length of your stay.
There are benches throughout Dollywood. And even some rocking chairs. Also you can rent a electronic wheelchair for her.
We were there last week and they don't do the come after 3 pm get the next day free any more.
Designated areas
69.95 for 1 day but the first response is a better choice
Dollywood is a whole lot more than rides. Yes you have to buy a pass unless one of your friends with a pass elects to use their one-time use "bring a friend " coupon to bring you.
Yes, one in all rides are free. There's so much to see inside admission is worth it
No Dollywood is a theme park about 5 minutes away from the Music Road Inn or Music Road Hotel.
No
Only if it's a service dog. They do have a doggy daycare at the entrance to the park though
Yes there's a location inside the park to go and purchase them. They are first come first serve though as they only sale so many
No you can't. If you got free bring a friend gate passes you cannot upgrade them. I have tried this a month ago. I tell you what I did tho. Bring your friend. And look for a regular pass on the ground and use it! However I think that promotion is over tho. As I upgraded mine on the last day they offered it.
Yes, i work there and they do it all the time
To park is it cash only?
If you ordered online, they emailed it to you. But you had to order during that promotion or you don't get any. We ordered two of ours when the promotion wasn't going on and didn't get any.
Yes
It's separate fees for each plus parking, or park at Patriots park and ride the trolley bus
There are just a very few in the "Country Fair" section of the park.
Can't remember exactly. It was under $50.00 a day
Why would dollywood answer that? Ask the titanic museum.
They have a kennel right at the entrance to Dollywood so Dollywood will keep your pet while you're in the Dollywood for a fee
Thanks maybe someone from dollywood will let me know. My friend had a Gold Pass and mine is a regular pass. He got sick and we didn't get to go not one time last year. Lot of wasted money.
I would say that any child can enjoy themselves, but for the child and the parent to enjoy themselves, I would say the child would have to be about 5.
Almost all areas have a place to sit your bag. You just grab it on your way out. The water rides don't have an area to put them. Some ppl put them outside in a corner if you feel that it's safe enough. That's up for you to decide though. They do a bag check, but you are allowed to bring in your own food and drinks, which is a great way to save money. Also, you will be walking a lot. Don't load your bag down with a ton of stuff that will only make you tired and uncomfortable to haul.
No guns. But I did see several people with knives on their sides.
You just missed her. She was in for the parade and opening of her brothers show.
If you have a season oass , any time. If you have a 1 day oass and go at 3 pm or later, you can use the ticket for the following day from 10-7.
Yes, most of the time. But very recently I had two free passes as you do and I gave them to a couple of people I met on the tram, and all they did was walk through by themselves and where admitted into the park.
Yes I believe they can
Check customer service I know there are discounts when you use the gold package upgrade
Yes. You can bring snacks in and a bottle of water too. I would also suggest to keep a cooler with drinks and sandwich stuff and go back to your car and make a sandwich and eat near the creek for a cheaper day.. but get the cinnamon bread at the Grist mill in the park by barnstormer
They are the best folks. Just call and tell them what you want and they will get it done.
She was just there on the 5th, but other than that I do not know.
Could we just hand them our passes and walk in? Or can we join someone that has a season pass? His family isn’t able to make it and the passes are only good for a short amount of time and this is the only time we are able to go as we are in college and have work this summer.
All you have to do is Google " the 10 best restaurants in Pigeon Forge" and you will have plenty of choices to go to. You will have these in addition to all of the fast food restaurants. We were just down there last week and had a fantastic time, the best meal I had was at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, we had the bourbon braised pork chop over mashed potatoes with onion rings and a side. The dessert was a large portion of chocolate layer cake alamode drizzled with hot fudge sauce like a hot fudge sundae, and that is to share. And if you want a great server, ask for Daniel. Just tell him the couple from Pittsburgh said to stop by and he will take care of you. You can also try the LOCAL GOAT about a mile from there, they source local foods that are non-GMO and organic, it is very good as well. For breakfast, go to Mel's Diner! It is nostalgic, the price is reasonable, and you will have a good time! All of these restaurants are within 5 minutes of Dollywood.
I spoke to my doctor about this. Was told if youre gonna have a miscarriage, most obviously it will happen regardless if you ride a roller coaster or not. Even in a high speed car crash the fetus is protected. If you are less than 3 months, dont cause you will always wonder and blame yourself (even though the ride has no correlation to miscarriage) should something happen, and if in your last month dont, cause who would want to go into labor on a ride, other than that, go for it. Passer bys be darned by their assumptions, ignorance, and accusations. Have fun!
Im not sure. But they have a section for little kids only.
Sorry not sure I went with a school f trip.
If you plan on going to one or both parks more than 2 times a season pass is a better value since you get free parking and 20% off anything you buy there-food souvenirs etc
You have to buy a separate ticket for the water park, but if you buy tickets for both parks they are discounted.
I just read 47 miles
Yes you can
Hey everybody, just an FYI. Dollywood really doesn't offer very many discounts. However, if you are a AAA member, you can purchase through their website and get a a slight discount on your tickets. That's what I did.
They let us bring in snacks and drinks in to Dollywood and never said a word then a gain it wasn't a lot
Your children and the money to pay for it.
Okay thank you I'm a season ticket holder and have been there many times and never paid for shows but I thought maybe the special shows you had to pay
Yes. If they ask you about upgrading to a gold pass it may be worth it for one of you to do it. It will get you free parking and discounts on food and merchandise.
Sorry, only for inside the park.
You're going to love it either way.😀😁
No
Im not real sure. I know you can purchase tickets thru the Dollywood app which can speed up the process. But you can always contact them online. They are pretty good at amswering back.
All Aboard,.......😀😁😎
Yes, a whole day edits well but you can enjoy it one more day
Most bears are just coming out and most of them stay in the park or up in Gatlinburg.
Yes and you can get a gold pass discount if you have a gold pass plus Free parking with the gold pass
Not a big deal they'll issue a new one for small fee.
Dollywood is a great park rent one and have fun they are very handicap assessable the parking there is very good the Montreal is very helpful enjoy
$69 for one day but the best deals are for additional days the price only goes up $10 per day after the initial day however you do have to pay for all the days up front
They would love to have you and help right now is festival of nations and a south African group is headline act lady blacksmith mambazo. They are great
Yes you can leave the park and come back if you have a season pass ,or not. They do give you a wrist band.
Buy a gold season pass and don't have to pay for parking. Go in walk around and see shows ride all the rides. Have to pay for food and what you get in the shops.
They just shut down some of the rides until it stops
Not sure. I know they have a discount for active military. They absolutely should honor ALL 1st Responders.
50 percent off..from SDC website:Season Pass Holders save 50% at: Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country(TN), Stone Mountain Park(GA), Wild Adventures(GA), Adventure Aquarium(NJ) and Newport Aquarium(KY). Discount for the pass holder only.
No it's not permitted in the park.
The train runs every hour, on the hour until the park closes. Example: 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00...etc.. Passengers may enter the station gates at 20 minutes before the hour. Boarding begins at 10 minutes before the train departs. The last train car is reserved for handicap and wheelchair passengers. It's a great ride and you will love it.
No they will not actually open until the 16th but season pass holders can come an hour early at 9 a.m. on Friday to be the first in line for the new ride drop line
Dollywood will be open March 16, 2018. All rides are closed until opening day.
Yes they do have cubbies and they also have rental lockers throughout the park
I'm not sure but I do know that it is definitely cheaper than going to Disney and a lot more exciting
Gold pass is worth it if you intend to go alot. Free parking and discounts on food, gifts, etc. Only need one Gold Pass and the others in the group can be regular.
I don't think you can get them before the park opens. The process is easy though. Buy online, print off receipt, they scan it to let you in park, go to season pass building where they take your pic and give you permanent season pass. Keep your pass each year so when you buy online in the future they will just reactivate your pass. No lines!
Check their website or call the park.
No, just Dollywood
Yes they have that at dollywood and on the parkway in pigeon forge!
I think only certified therapy dogs are allowed, but this may be best answered by Dollywood themselves. I'd try calling.
Rollercoasters, water rides, shows, games, exhibits, concessions, and just a multitude of different family oriented things...
March 17th is opening day. And they Festival of Nations starts then too.
Yes but it costs more, if you are camping nearby you might want to look into the area trolleys
Service animals only but it's a great park don't let that stop you from going we get season tickets every year it's a good time for all ages
If you don't already follow her on Twitter and subscribe to her email those are good ways to know what she is up to
Im pretty sure if you call they give info on discounts, group rates, etc
$ 69.00 per day
I was just there in December and didnt see any construction going on amd no advertisement for new rides!
Not in dolly world but in pigeon forge, sevierville, and gatlin berg there is and its affordable
No weight limit but youll have to fit in the harnesses and seatbelts
March 17th
Adult pricing and kid pricing. There is a military discount. No chaperone pricing.
There are 4 watwr rides one being a rapid raft ride that is fun for the whole family at least one person is guaranteed to get soaked lol. There is a log ride that climbs up a steep hill then wel you go down its ine if my favorites there is a semi hidden water slide ride behind the barnstormer that is ok but its a long trek to get to it . then there is a little ride that you shoot water at eachother over by the roller coasters you get pretty wet
No,just refillable drink cups but there are 2 all you can eat bufetts for $17.99 in the park
Yes, but it depends on the temperature. Some of the rides won't open if the temp is under 34 degrees.
15 dollars to pay to park without a gold pass. Rides are open this week but I believe it has to be above 32 degrees before they run most rides.
All coasters at the highest point must be a certain temperature or it won't run and it all depends on the coaster..
It has to be a certain temperature at the highest point of the coaster to work
Senior tickets are for age 62 and older, child ticket is for ages 4-10.
Yes the Dollywood app as former guide mentioned is best up to date available
When we booked our cabin online, we also received a $10 discount off park passes to Dollywood. We booked the cabin several weeks in advance, printed out the receipts and, when we got to the park, we walked right in to the park without having to wait in line. However, these were only day passes and not season passes so that may be a bit different. But can't imagine you couldn't get them online as well.
Don't do the beans and greens all from a can...
Person above is incorrect. Cups of ice water are free all over the park. If one of you gets the gold pass you get free parking along with 20 percent off of any purchases inside the park. If you're talking about the dinner shows that is a different venue and is bought separately.
Yes, but a replacement card is $15.00.
The previous answers are good. If you have family getting season passes, buy one gold so you get discounts and free parking. Buy regular for all the rest.
Make a wish foundation
I would check the website as there are days they are closed as well. The website tells you the hours of the park and current wait time for rides.
Service dogs only. Otherwise must use the kennel service.
They open at 10 a.m. and they cloae i think at 900 p.m.
You will have to pay normal admission price.
Just show pass
No not that I know of
Sorry i didnt go to the park i just drove by the sign
It's around $30. You can reserve online but they do not have many to reserve online. It's a first come first serve basis. Don't go with a regular wheel chair. Way too many hills
Keep in mind the seasonal pass is good for the season. It's not an annual pass like other parks from the day of purchase.
Dollywood is one of the best for accommodating disabilities. When you arrive at the park, to your left after going through the entrance is the disability area. So long as your service dog is an official service animal, it should not be an issue. Still best to call the friendly staff and verify.
You can but parking is 10 dollars not sure if that is good for coming and going.
A regular 1 day Dollywood Ticket valid March 18, 2017-January 1, 2018 Regular (ages 10-61) $69 Child (ages 4-9) $56 Senior (62+) $64
Children ages 4-9 $56
I know the Pigeon Forge, Tennessee Shades of the Past Hot Rod Roundup was held at Dollywood's Splash Country back in early September 8-9. 2018 Spring Rod Run Pigeon Forge is scheduled for April 19-20-21 2018 Fall Rod Run September 13-14-15
Do not reopen until November 5th.
3pm. You can also buy a season pass at Christmas and it be good for the next year.
Yes some days in Sept and Jan, Feb, part of march . It is best to check their schedule on their website or call.
You can find a $10 off coupon at the pigeon forge Sonic/ look it up on the internet. Or at the pigeon forge Food Co/local grocery store (i forget the actual name) but the friendly customer service representative at Dollywood helped me with this.
Yes 2.P.M until 9.PM
Not sure but I would call Dollywood 'S customer service. They are very helpful and nice!
[PDF] 2017 OPERATING CALENDAR Carr's Cottages › 2017-dollywood-operat...
If you purchase you ticket after 3, you keep the ticket and that gets you in free the following day.
Go to customer relations with your photo ID and they should be able to help you.
Found them for 7$ all day down in the country fair area near the scrambler by restrooms
They have a limited number of wheelchairs and ECV's for rent. The wheelchairs are 12.00 per day and the ECV's are 38.00 per day.
Dolly started Dollywood in 1986. It was Silver dollar City before. I like Dollywood best. I go at least twice a week.
Mine has my picture on it. But not sure how close they look at it.
Season Tickets are the best deal if you can afford it, and plan on going that much. Local Hotels in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg oftentimes have coupons.
Yes. They get $5 off their one day ticket. The person with the season pass must be present when the ticket is purchased.
Yes security will check the bag before you get in. Also is pay lockers around the park that you can storage your bag. One time fee for the locker and you can reuse it all day moving to a different locker around the park.
I have to agree with Rebecca. As long as she can walk she should be able to ride. Also some of the rides have an elevator to reach the ride loading platform so if she does have to be in a wheelchair then she can still get to the rides. There may be one or two that she wouldn't be able to if the cast was too bulky but other than that she should be good to go. And if you want to save a bit of money on parking then you can go to Pigeon Forge and ride the trolley into the park. I believe that it's only 0.50 to ride.
You must buy them a ticket unless you have the bring a friend free coupon they give u when u get your pass. Your gold pass can get them free parking if they ride in same car as u.
No. I know on the cars which is easy ride they wouldnt let an amputee ride .im pretty sure they cant ride coasters. Maybe you can with a prosthetic leg not sure...
They checked our bags and we went in July.
I do not know different prices this time of season
Tickets at Dollywood are less expensive that what you think , I advise you to go online and not only check prices but also what the park offers. The price quoted of $99 is for a 3 day pass
Beautifully. Have rest stop with mist spraying if u feel sun is bothering u...have shaded areas n lots of places to stop see a show or u can see blacksmith or just shop if u scared of rollercoasters
They are doing 3 days for 33 a day must buy 3 days online
Cold could snow. Not open after Jan. 1 until end of March.
Mild. Will vary quite a bit but anywhere from 40s to mid 60s usually on the warmer end that range
Get the gold pass... you get 20% of all food. Well worth it if you plan on going more than once!
Not a prob when we did it they used my phone
Yes. With a gold pass it was around $36. About $42 without pass. It navigates the hills well. When i tried using my own the hills killed mine immediately.
My daughter in law took a drink in yesterday Sept 3rd and no one said a thing. They do check bags, but only felt my cinch sack backpack. Looking for weapons, etc.
"Since 1986, visitors from around the world have become well acquainted with the Dollywood name and experience. However, the entertainment park actually traces its roots back to 1961 when Rebel Railroad first opened on the site that, over time, has expanded and grown into Dollywood."
If you are staying a week it is much better to get a pass. Gold pass is a little over a hundred but i can get in free march fhru jan1. Its equal to pauing two days in the park. If you get a gold pass u get free parking. 20% off on food and purchases. You get a regular $89 pass for other people in the family. It is much better if ylu will be coming more than two days.
No
Florida to TN is quite a ride, but yes, you can bus it.
U can print them or download the DollyWood app and they can scan ur phone and dont need to print it
I believe its about $45 more for a regular season pass, over the one day admission for adults. Gold pass is the way to go, if you're planning to go often, since it has free parking.
Gospel and harvest celebration begins on the 29th i believe...
Yes. Arrive after 3, and the next day is free.
They do. $38/day
