If you have kids it will take more than a day to see and do everything. Use the after 3 option and get the second day free and should be able to see it all
A day should be good. You should be able to see most of the shows as well.

A day easily especially in the summer months. If you arrive after 3 the next day is free
All day
We were there 7 hours today and definitely didn’t see/do everything. We did two shows, the Dolly museum, lunch and walked through the whole park (excluding the water park) just to see the layout, bought some souvenirs, rode the train and toured Dolly’s tour bus. This is definitely an all day activity.
We were there from open to close & didn't see everything. I wish we would have did the free after 3pm option.
We were there from 10.00 to 9.00 and I don't think we saw everything. It was alot of fun.
It can take a day if you do everything.
