I was just told by customer service that the spouse has to have a military ID also? We have never been issued one as my husband is an army veteran but did not retire. We have always both received the veteran rate, has that changed?

I am a retired military veteran and I have a card that says so and I can use that there, nevertheless my father was only in a short number of years and says if you were in, you can get the words veteran on your driver's license in some states, you may be able with a VA card also. You should have a DD-214 from the military if you were ever in. Either way you will probably need to go online to register if you have not already. Retired military spouse or active-duty military spouse should also have a military dependents card that might be acceptable.

He of course has an ID card but I do not, and I’ve never had to have one in the past.
