Jackie Ewer
Great care! Great staff! And affordable
Shaunna Wear
Dr.jeff is amazing and has saved our boys life time and time again.
James
Very clean facility. There were large number of patients which gave me the confidence that many people trust this place. The slight down side is that you have to wait little bit even with an appointment. Took my pup in for a cherry eye surgery and it was so much cheaper than other places I've called. There was no post surgery issues. The cherry eye did come back on the same eye my dog got a surgery on, but this was explained/warned to me ahead of time because the dog is still growing. I plan on taking my dog back to this place for same surgery.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
I had my mini. Dachshund their and the bill was $523.00. But believe me that's cheap. It is a surgery and they have to put your pet out. He also had 7 teeth pulled. So don't wait, your pet can get very sick from bad teeth, just like us. Hope this helps. Super nice ppl.
Yes they do.
Get the work done, dog is in pain. I bet PPP will work with you.
You have to pay per shot. So nothing is included but you can choose to pay for the shots
You can go to a people pharmacy. You can also use Coloradodrugcard.com and/or goodrx.com! Even some pharmacy specific savings programs are fine with pet preparations at a discount! The first 2 will give you a list of pharmacies and prices! I do my pet meds at my personal pharmacy here in the Springs, at the Medicine Shoppe they even offer fish, chicken, and other pet flavors for liquid or specialty compounded meds! I was currious, so I looked it up on CO drug card with my zip and ppp's too.. They list a solution of 250mg/5ml, so you would give just 1ml (to the best of my knowledge, the pharmacy will put directions for sure), but 30ml is $13-14 and 60ml is $16-17, depending on 50mg how often the free drug card would make it that price at certain participating places - there is a warning on the site that says the actual price could very. I have used them decades- it has varied, usually within $.10-.30, $1 was my biggest! It's a discount % off, so if they paid more, you pay a bit more.
You may also try maxfund shelter. They work with low or no income. Just concerned about taking care of animals.
Take your dog to the door if he's sick, they take emergency's. After 6:00 another hospital uses the facility for emergency's.🏥🏥
Will they go but the weight of the dog. But if he is less then 10lbs it's 40 but no more than 90
Not as a rule, but I've walked in, in an emergency during the day, and I've also called 1st thing and got an appt for about an hour later. It just depends how busy they are.
I'm a senior and my female dog needs to be sp
Unfortunately I believe it is rare that Dr Jeff is actually onsite other than filming. There are a lot of great vets tho and they make treatment attainable and less expensive. We saw Dr Lant and she stuck with us through 10 days of hospitalization and inconclusive tests trying to figure out why our dog was so sick. We lived almost 2 hrs from the clinic and she would call and spend so long on the phone with us with updates and options! They were wonderful and we couldn't have saved her without them! Would have loved to meet Dr Jeff tho!
A dog lives in the moment. Of course love but structure is the best. Take her for walks I would suggest at least three times a day. They don't have to be long walks. Once you have bonded she will come around. Just have patience and don't worry about it too much. She'll be okay with loving parents like you. Good luck
No they don't and the staff is rude and not helpful! They're NOTHING like how they portray themselves on TV!
Not quite sure will ask ok
Drop by on a Saturday. Good chance you'll meet him.
An FHO. Femoral head ostectomy
Yes but only on Saturdays from 10-2 and then again after their lunch break. But if I were you I'd get there early because it's on a number based system. The earlier you get there the better number you get and you don't have to wait for houra
I would set an appointment.
According to their website: cat dental (includes antibiotics, anesthesia, & extractions)[No Blood Work] $200.00-$500.00 and $100 deposit.you can find that here on the website. https://plannedpethoodinternational.org/services
You can call them and make an appointment or go in as a walk in, which may actually be better because sometimes their phones get pretty busy.
Planned Pethood will work with you.
Planned Pethood has done amazing surgeries for my pets. But, DDFL has a spay/neuter mobile unit that goes all over town. Their website will tell you where that van will be. I think for a small dachshund it's about $40
My dog has had 2 dental appointments there. They pulled 14 teeth the first time and the rest about 7 years later. He did great both times.
Sorry I really don't know but I think the best way to find out is call them & normally they don't answer just leave a msg of what your question is & when they call you back even if you don't answer they are really good about answering your question on your voicemail😊
Their prices are posted on their web page Male 60 to 80 could be a little more depending on his weight. Female 70 to 90 or a little more depending on weight
Reverse sneezing has nothing to do with neutering.
Yes, and they triage. They may not see you that day, but they will schedule you if they don't see you right away.
You will need to contact them. They don't see these questions. Good luck 💪💙
Um what do you mean they won't let you back there with your pet even for a check up??? Nope i wanna see what they are doing with my babies!!!
Disabled Cats
No. I walked in on Thursday with a crying dog in pain and they refused him
Not a vet but glucosamine supplements work wonders. Dogs can get arthritis just like us. Double check toe nail length too. I recommend getting her checked out in case it's something more serious. We had a shitzu live up to 18 and took glucosamine twice daily.
They're very good and inexpensive if that matters to you
They're usually busy this time of year you can't get through to make an appointment or you can email them and make an appointment with them that way they are good vet doctors
D’Ann,Brandi,Corrie,Laura
I think your Vet has all of your dogs medical records and should make their recommendations on your digs health.
Olive oil once a week works good, but there are some cat food the dryed food that is hair ball formulated that works great. Walmart does carry it. You'll have to look for it. The price is good on it. I have a pure breed Manx and his fur is a medium, and works well for him.
Two months I've called for my dog to be seen and NO ONE WILL RETURN MY CALL SMDH
Not in Utah sorry
It also depends on if your pet is in need of emergency care. They are amazing!
Well the best way is to either leave them a message to call you back or show up in person, it's always pretty busy here so it's rare they will answer the phone but check their website it shows vaccine days and suggestions on best time to come for what need you want addressed =)
Talk with them they'll help you out
I love this place they neutered shots chipped and pulled 2 puppy teeth plus blood work only 300
It all depends on your application but it's not alot at all call them there on 44th in Harlan
I'm not to sure but I will ask for you ok
Planned Pethood is going be your most affordable option. I highly recommend signing your pup up for a health insurance plan with Nationwide. So affordable, you can use any vet-even ER and specialty. Your general care is covered–shots, teeth cleanings, heartworm /flea/tick prevention. But so are procedures and surgeries. It takes 15 days after sign up to go into affect so it won't help you THIS time, but there is a lot of comfort to me in knowing your dog is protected from high costs and you will get the care your dog needs and will be able to afford it.
They will work with you on the payment.
I think if he isn't busy he will definitely take time to say hi ..im there every other Friday for my dog millhouse .if it wasn't for Dr Jeff he would of died but Dr Jeff said get him here first thing in the morning he's my first surgery ..not only saved his life but also saved me 4000 dollars
Yes sounds like cataract
I took my do to western animal clinic. She h.g.h ad collapse trekkie and the vet is the best. She was constantly coughing and a few days after her appointment and a steroid shot and cough syrup she is doing good. I haven't had to give her any more cough syrup. She is good.
They have the best price and if you need help They can offer people that will help pay some of the bill
You have to just take your pet in. It's first come first served. But they are amazing so well worth it. And their prices are the most reasonable you'll find.
The owner and lead vet (Dr. Jeff Young) and his wife (Dr. Petra) live above the clinic so they will often check on pets overnight as needed. If your dog was not stable and/or needed more intensive care, I think they would've suggested a 24/7 emergency clinic. Hope all goes well.
You would need to call and make an appointment with either the office manager or the vet, whichever does the intake.
It's $300 to start plus $65 for blood work which is required. It can go all they way up to $600 depending On how many extractions they have to do, Which they don't know until they get in there and Start cleaning
Not for a spay, that would need an appointment. You can take her for vaccines Saturday.
They are closed on Sundays, your better off showing up on Monday morning. Too busy to answer the phone 🥺
I dont no I took my dog in for her breathing and her eyes they dident say anything about that but charged me 400 for blood test and to spay her and hospital her nothing that I took her in for
I have found that they rarely answers to the phone and rarely return voicemails I been told. You with have to go to a walk in clinic at 8:30 in the morning. I took my drug in and that's what I had to do.
They have walk ins at opening which is 8:30. If you go down there and wait outside on the patio area someone will come out and help you. I went for my dog and I was only there about an hour if that and done
I'm so sorry that is not something that we can do. I would maybe try Alameda East.
You can order them online and give them yourself. Just Google pet vaccines and a bunch of places to order from will pop up.
They do take a long time to call back, because they are so busy, if you want to go early and stand outside at 6:30 in the morning, they will see you, but keep trying, they do eventually call back
I have had to just go there to speak with someone in person to get anything accomplished. That is a huge inconvenience but send to work best.
Deworming 1st DHPP FIRST VAC Is what my new puppies just received.
Yes. My Rotty had to have her uterus removed.
You'll never get through during the virus they don't have anyone to answer the phones. Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit and a lot less expensive than just about any other place but with just as good if not better treatment. Calling Planned Pethood on the phone appointment is pointless
They don't answer calls because they are not of convince this is why they are a low cost vet clinic. They will take care of your pet and call to up date you. They saved my puppy with parvo and my friends puppies a year later. They took great care of them and updated us at the end of the evening around 8 usually. They really do care about your pets in my opinion.
Go check out there website. They have price chart and if it's not on it give them a call.
15 might be to much of a risk even if he is in good health. Call the clinic or go to there website.
Yes, they do.
Routine Surgeries – Canine Dog Neuter (If over 69lbs price increases $10 for each additional 10lbs)$60-80.00
Yes
No, it cost me about $85
Not sure but you can be rest assured you're not going to get a better price anywhere else!!!
I have no idea. I do know that when a biopsy is done, they take a small amount of tissue from the affected area. Depending on the findings of the biopsy, a partial amputation may be needed. I'm not a vet so I really don't know how common it is. Sorry
Ok thanks, I did look for their email but didn't see it. I will look again.
You have to show up there. There are so many people that travel long ways to get their animals treated and they are just so busy.
You can find all pricing for all procedures on their website
I suggest you go here! They will help you. I hope you life companion is well.
I am so sorry, when I had to put my Johnny Bravo down, it was 170.00 with his ashes given back to me in a nice urn😢
Call them. You won't get the run around
Show up in the morning (7:30) and get in line. They will be able to help you.
It is on their website.
While I have never personally had him attend to my cat many of the other doctors have! All GREAT!
Yes, leave a message
I have seen him there a couple of times when there getting treatments for my cat! Never had him on my case but that's also why he has a staff as one man CAN'T do IT all as its a very busy place! While he is ultimately responsible for the actions (or inaction) of his staff it's not something to worry about as they are good people that I have found.
My dog does that,"chittering" when she's anxious or excited but I've never seen or heard her grind her teeth. She's about 12-13 years old.
Yes, there are a lot of animal CBD products that is less than 5 % thc most test at 1% thc I gave cannibis to many of my pet before the new CBD products became available and you could see the relief those pet got! I wish I had CBD only products then my current dog gets CBD daily for her anxiety it really helps her be calmer.
Hi This day tends to be a less busy day so that's why the decision was made to be closed on Sundays not because of any specific religious beliefs. We have staff here caring for our fur babies on Sundays and we do set meet and greet appointments for this day often also even when its our only day off. We are deeply invested in our adoptable animals rehoming. We are open on Saturdays and weekdays until 6pm for meets and often stay waaaay longer if need be for meets with new prospective families.
I would call back every few hours they are so busy. I do have to say for myself when I called and left a message I got a call back relatively quick. I think they are just too busy to focus on phone calls.
That would be a question for Planned Pethood. They're very friendly so give them a call!
Not free but not as bad as most places. They do do free clinics from time to time.
Planned Pethood Plus is wonderful. Also, apply for assistance through the Harleys Hope Foundation. https://www.harleys-hopefoundation.org/
It's a great place but very busy. The night crew is a different company from the daytime team so there's a bit of lost communication there, but they have solid surgeons.
I would think so BUT you could also call... may not work on Sunday though
You need to call them.
You would need to call. But i would recommend Guardian Angel Veterinary Care in thornton. They answer the phone. High quality services for an inexpensive cost. Planned pet hood is good for shots.
Check the website. They do a pretty good job of listing procedures and the prices. If they do not have it listed it would be best to call, but keep in mind they are a very busy clinic and it may take time to get ahold of someone.
Planned Pethood does not take payments however you can get care credit and you pay them back in payments.
https://plannedpethoodinternational.org/about
You can check the website, they have the costs listed. 80 to 160 plus anesthesia. Additional xray views are 40 each.
It depends on the size of the anesthesia expense
I have left 3 message this is a emergency and I don't have any way to get my dog there
Probably best to call them. They will treat you fairly and not refuse excellent care based on income or ability to pay
All I. Can is call them but I think so Dr jeff and his wife are so down to earth I'm sure they Will help you but you must call in the morning not at night because they lease it to another place at night ok
They base it on weight. Their web page lists costs for many surgeries.
Dr. Jeff and his crew will take care of you. My friend needed her dog's eye removed and a vet quoted her at 900 and planned pethood charged her 300!!
Wow
Saturday is the day for shots. Very inexpensive. Easiest to get an appointment if you go to the office. The wait can be long,if you just drop in. They are awesome for emergencies. These folks are a gift for the patient, patient.
I would call and ask...
Thanks guys, she's a Chiweenie and weighs about 11lbs. I've been told both back legs are having issues but the right leg is very noticeable
Depending on the age of the dog or cat. Puppies get a series of vaccines 1st at 2 months 2nd at 3 months last for the year at 4 months that is a distemper/parvo vaccine which cost $15 per vaccine, rabies vaccine is given at 4 months or older which cost $20. I'm not too sure on the cat vaccines.
I have no idea I'm not from there
Mine never did that
Recommended... Six months
You would ask them
I am sure they would..though I see no reason to do so unless you have .more than one pet squirrel .
Look on their website they have prices listed, I think by weight.
They do sometimes, but the best thing to do is bring him in. He may have internal injuries. The longer you wait it get's worse. Their phone is so busy it is better to just go in. They will see you for a emergency right away. There is also a credit plan you can apply for called Care Credit. Hope this helps. Best of luck with your pup.
They go by you income.
Planned per hood, or I think there is a place off of Lipan and like 10th. They are low invome. Harrison memorial used to be. Don't know for sure about them anymore.
I am not sure. But the first thing that they will ask you is what are you feeding your dog? There was recently a major recall on pet food. I eould go on the internet and check to see if your good is under the recall. Also with all of the people that have moved here we now have fleas. So check for those as well. They are little black bugs. You can call and leave a msg, but you won't get a call back for a day or so. They are extremely busy. Hope this helps.
Me too! They didn't return a call for an emergency we had. But....once you get in they're fabulous and caring. I'm retired on a small pension and their prices are more than fair and so worth having to go in person to make an appointment.
My dog had surgery there for a ruptured hernia. My vet wanted $4000. Dr Jeff charged $551. If you can get her in, it will save $$$ and ur pup. I would say just go down there and be there by 7:00 they open at 7:30. Bring her with u and if you have papers from ur vet bring those too.
I don't think there is after hours.
On a dog or a cat? Regardless, it's a skin tag. They are harmless and unless it keeps getting caught on something, you should leave it alone. Even so, if it does get caught on something and partially rip off, let it be. It will usually fall off on its own after that.
They are not taking out of state clients at this time.
At Planned Pethood Plus, it is $40 for a scheduled appointment. $10 for blood tests, and vaccinations. $20 for heartworm test. And if you do a walk until most likely tell you to come in after hours which is $50. There after hours starts at 6 p.m. pet Aid Animal Hospital off of Yuma in Denver has really good prices to that go by your income. I've taken my dog's there many times. I've had my dog get x-rays blood test and a visit for 180 which isn't too bad. Hope this helps
If your pet has that you should probably go to an emergency vet. Or call them if this can wait.
It's $40 for an appointment and they can refill the meds once they figure out if your baby still needs them or needs them adjusted
I'm sure they do, but shelters need it more. Dumb Friends League is one. I'm sorry about the loss of your furbaby :(
Yes they do on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm
Im pretty sure they discount services but you have to pay with a deposit the remainder after procedure.
Call em. They are less than anywhere else.
Sounds like Giardia. You need to take him in. They are affordable.
If you go on their website they give you a list of fees for most things including surgeries
Does the vet travel? You will probably have to call and ask that question!
I think you need to call them for this and/or go to their website. Lots of information there.
Not sure about day but at night there is an emergency vet business in this office.
Have you googled it? That would be your best bet unless you get word of mouth
They are likely your most reasonable option.
I think it's a flat rate up to 70 lbs and it is $70 it is on their website some where. I am just not sure where to find it.
Call them. Lower than anywhere else
It starts at 10am but get there early the line is always long. I get there by 730
Yes, check out Pawsible Love's website. They ship! I use their products on our furbabies, it's a great brand!
At the store inside Planned pethood
Their staff can give you estimates.
When they call you back it may come in as 'a restricted' number. Answer. When I've had a sick animal I've always gotten a call back the same day. Keep your phone close and answer your calls. I have been extremely pleased with their care of my animals.
They have a fee chart online and they are the best with the lowest fees across the country
Good care and good prices
That is 2 different surgeries. Bring them in I'm sure they would be able to give you a est. of the cost after seeing the dog.
Don't know on that but they r more affordable than any vet in town worth the drive great staff
The called me back within a few hours....you can always try & do a walk in...
It's $25.00 for the sets of shots. Don't matter age
As Jesus mentioned, we only Trim nails if they are sedated. However, Corries grooming, which is located in our clinic, does trim cat's nails.
I believe so.
I do not know how much they charge but if you go to Jeffco Action Center in Lakewood Colorado they will give you a voucher which includes spay or neuter & all shots for free but must call first for an appointment.
Take the dog there ASAP. They can help.
Shots are given generally at 2mo 3mo and 4mo, 1Dhpp or parvo shot (it is a five virus shot though) given at those months the third being the one that will be good for the year, and at four months or over do they start giving the rabies shot, good for one year. There are additional vaccines like bordetella if your dog goes to day care or hangs around a lot of dogs and canine influenza which Im not too familiar with, but usually just Dhpp and rabies.
Yes
Call and ask. I don't want to give you bad information.
Not that I know of, on the drop off. But Saturday morning you can go get it's shots, n make an appointment for the neutered. Then ask on the drop off part.
I believe that they do that type of surgery, but would have no idea how much it costs.
Yes
They will help you.
Yes, they do it all.
They are by far the cheapest place for surgery. We had a dog that needed kidney stones removed and had a quote of over $3,000 and Planned Pethood plus did it for about for less than $800. They also rarely answer their phone so if you need to get an answer quickly I would just bring your animal to them.
Check out their services page https://my.vetmatrix.com/0031201/services.html
No they do not offer any kind of discount to those who have no money. If you call after 7 p.m. Denver animal will give you a list of places who will give you a discount or free vet care. They also work out of the same office after hours that Planned Pethood does. I personally have seen the vet with Denver animal help those in need himself
Debby that is way too much. Take your puppy to planned pet hood. When I took my puppy in they gave me a number to some place that will actually help you pay for your that bill. They gave me a $75 voucher. So just take your puppy in today and tell them that you are disabled in that you can't afford a high bill and if they can help you.
Yes, but you can also shop around with several vets. Harrison Memorial, Red Rocks, and checking with the Dumb Friends league.
Karen, have you left a message? They always respond to messages. They are extremely busy because they are such a low cost. They are constantly busy. I just walked in with my baby and they took him right away but my situation was pretty serious. Just leave a message with your name and number and they will call back.
Spay/neutering is pretty much their mission statement. Low cost sterilization is what they do.
They have a list of prices on their website.. but also check cause sometimes they have clinics for cheaper
I dont know. I dont have cats. They have a web site with their charges.
I would suggest if at all possible take your dog into the Vet. If your dog is in pain there is a reason. He might have a broken leg. Planned Pethood is a very good vet for a very reasonable price. Sometimes it's difficult to get through to them on the phone but be patient. Good luck
No They are closed on Sundays. Best place to go for any animal. Love this place!!
They definitely can provide pain meds, just ask them about it before setting up the surgery.
Hello June, not sure if that's the reason her eyes weep, could be allergies, but I recommend just bringing her in for an exam, it's 40$ for the appointment. They can give you a lot better information.
Can you answer this question about the german shepherd that developed perianal fistula
Yes! It's actually called Pawsible Love and it's a great product!
I hear they are very reasonable. And they are very nice. I love what they do.
I don't think you're going to have any choice but to give them a call. They will call you back but sometimes it'll take them all day because they are busy. You might find out by checking out their website. Good luck
You can take him in to get him checked out. Once they figure out what might be wrong and what treatment he needs, if you cannot afford it they can help you set up a payment plan.
Regular hours as far as I know.
They are very busy, you're best bet is to go in person and if your animal is sick or hurt take them with you. They'll probably just fit you in.
So there is no one I can talk too.
I take them there and they'll figure it out
Cripp sake get her to the vet. What is the question?
My dog was stept on leg is. Broken what can I do
I will ask them later when i go back in. I asked, they do and it varies.
Andrea Please just bring your dog in we often have walking doctors the phones are usually ringing off the hook all day every day it's hard to get every call but we do care please bring your pet in when you can we are open 9-6
Walk in to make an appt, explain your dogs issue & they work around it. They are awesome here!!
Give them a call or if you're close stop in and talk to them about it
Yes, they do all types of surgery and at half the price. Great docs, great surgeons, and they truly love the animals.
Doc. Jeff will help him.
Once in a while you'll get lucky. I've called in the morning and was able to be seen within an hour or so. It was an emergency too.
You will need to call
Well Conner Gee, I dont know the answer to this question, that's why I'm asking. I've not been to this vet hospital before, so I dont know everything about them. I have looked on the website, but it doesn't offer an answer, hence my question to the community. You must know the answer so how about giving me a little help?
I am not sure check their website or call and ask. They may for some things.
I'm sure he could. However, he most certainly won't.
You could try calling shelters to see if they know of low cost vets that could help. They would be the best resource to find what you need
If you aren't getting a call back it is easier to just go into talk to them in person. If you have an urgent issue they typically can fit you in same day
Try their website
The prices are on the website. The price goes up based on weight, so you should be looking at the lowest price. I looked it up for you. Its gonna be 70 bucks. Like my comment please and thank you!
Prices are on their website under services
It doe's not matter what color or what bread they are all treated with the best care and love.
Yes they do however if they are busy you might have to wait awhile.
They ARE the lowest priced vet in Colorado. That's his business to help those in need at a lower cost. That can't afford it
Yes I have talked with people when I have been in the clinic that were from out of town
They have a shot clinic every Saturday but you need to call for an appointment to get fixed. And i think that it well cost more then $10 for sure but still save you lots of money.
They will bot work with you on prices, but they have worked with people on payments.
I have had allmy pets spayed and neutered there each time they have been wonder. Have been going to see Dr Jeff fpr over 26 years
I have left messages numerous times and never had a return call so if you can I would just go to the clinic there is also a max fund clinic you can call you may have better luck.
Their website has all the info but their prices are depending on size and breed
It will take a while ,but they are good to Your pet be packing a small lunch.
They have always been a lot cheaper than other vets for our dogs I'm sure it would be similar for a cat.
Call the clinic, this is an open forum on Google maps...
Best to go on ssturdays, its their vaccination day. Its busy but no office visit charge
Maybe you should go by if your concerned, I know they are very busy.
I do know that they don't accept American Express
Bloody diarrhea can be the symptom of life threatening issues. You need to see a vet ASAP
Worth the hour drive, they're much more affordable than most pet hospitals.
l
I've taken a walk in at any time as long as they have room sooner the better
Scheduled is $40 emergency is $60
Take him in asap he is too small and will dehydrate very fast
On Saturdays Parvo will cost $60. Show up early because it's first come, first serve.
If your weight went up by 40 0/0 more or less i bet you would go to the Dr..
they are very cheap please take him there
Honestly I don't know but if you Google it or call the vet they can let you know
Probably closer to 60 bucks in Longmont
Yes he does. He seems to be very busy. I imagine he handles the more serious cases while the other Vets and Techs deal with the routine.
And on phone message, i think but dumb friends and Max fund have spay and neuter clinics.
Yup they were filming when I was there 3 weeks ago
Depends on if they need an extraction. If his breath smells like something rotten, they will have to pull. The cleaning we got quoted was $250 or more.
I believe that they hold Spay and Nurturing clinics from time to time, I suggest that you check their website, call or stop by their office for more accurate answers to your specific questions:)
They no longer do walk-ins as of last week everything is by appointment now and they do not accept out-of-state patients
