Not as a rule, but I've walked in, in an emergency during the day, and I've also called 1st thing and got an appt for about an hour later. It just depends how busy they are.
For a spay, shots, or anything that can wait - no, but but by car, fight, bleeding (not that wouldn't bleed through a band-aid since that could wait for a same/next day appointment) - so it comes down to triage again...like answering the phone.
