Dr. Jeff, my 12 year old havanese has a leak in his mitral valve. He is not in heart failure. He had an echocardiogram and dr. Prescribed vetmedin chewable tablets 2 x a day. He weighs 15 lbs. If I came there can you cure his problem? I live in pa.

Unfortunately I believe it is rare that Dr Jeff is actually onsite other than filming. There are a lot of great vets tho and they make treatment attainable and less expensive. We saw Dr Lant and she stuck with us through 10 days of hospitalization and inconclusive tests trying to figure out why our dog was so sick. We lived almost 2 hrs from the clinic and she would call and spend so long on the phone with us with updates and options! They were wonderful and we couldn't have saved her without them! Would have loved to meet Dr Jeff tho!

Make sure you get Dr Jeff. There are many Dr's who do surgery there. When I went for a consultation I saw Dr. Baier so I thought he would do the surgery but he did not. I felt deceived.

My daughter recently moved to Ft Collins. She had one rescue dog and now she has two. The original one petey had separation anxiety Chewe his way out of the truck and went on the run for 3 days Because my daughter was relentless in her search she got him back He has broken teeth I told her to call Dr jeff He always says the best thing you can do for your animal is teeth She called you and you said we no longer do dental I am seriously disappointed I've been such a fan
