My little chihuahua yorkie mix continues to scratch her ears to the point she’s whining.. she doesn’t have mites so I was wondering is it just a chihuahua thing?

Best thing to do Is take it in to planned pethood and see what they have to say

I don't think it's just a Chihuahua thing.. quite possibly an ear infection 0r maybe some kind of derma problem within the inner ear because of all the high heat we've been having. (Derma problem)=skin rash , &0r , irritation of the epidermis.. canine sunburn is a real thing as well.

My chiuahua does the same but doesn't shine at all
