Great place to go. Lots to do - lots to improve.
Must try: close up encounters! We did walrus and it was amazing. Kids loved it. Best 20 minutes at the park.
We got there when it opened, 10am on a Thursday. Most rides were not open until 11am or after. That was a bummer.
Riders were great. If you have a young one, there are really only two rides they can go on - 48” height. Sesame Street was great for the little one (5yrs old). 9 yr old could ride almost every ride and enjoyed Sesame Street play area.
Food was ok. There were adult drinks everywhere - beer, margaritas, etc.
Park was clean and easy to get around.

Really enjoyed most of our day. My son did the swimming with dolphins experience for his birthday and I think it was the best present ever! My only "issue" is the dining. The lines are very long and we spent way too much time trying to get food. Then it was difficult to find a place to sit. Food price wasn't too bad for an amusement park. Consider the food pass.

Excellent family experience. Lines for rides were reasonable. Rides were fun for all ages. Shows are still great. Upgraded to meal pass and the food was surprisingly good for a theme park. I have nothing negative to say except I wish we had gone sooner.

My family and I visited for the first time. I was actually impressed. SeaWorld not only has sea creatures, but it also has coaster rides that will challenge other parks. It is along the sea so you get a nice sea breeze. We were delighted with the whale shows, the dolphins, seals, etc... You will see trees and plants that are beautiful. Explore the area and I guarantee you will find something special to you or your loved ones. For the price, my family and I had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone trying to have a relaxing and enjoyable time. The only negative thing I can say is that parking was $30. For a regular car, but I felt a little better when I heard that proceedings go to protecting the sea mammals and rescues. Bless you all and wish you a happy time with your family.❤️❤️❤️
Seaworld is great for younger kids.
The park has multiple areas designed for children that are just barely walking. There is the Sesame Street Bay of Play - housing a larger play structure for children( and adults like me) that need a chance to run off energy. There are also a few rides that the kids can go on, though they are going to need to meet height restrictions. The Bay of Play also has a couple of Toddler areas specific for smaller children.
You can only get the items sold in 6 specific restaurants. They have an entree, a snack like fruit, dessert, or salad and a non alcoholic drink. It does not cover nachos or churros.
I would first refer to the SeaWorld website for any updates. We have annual passes and parking is included however at the first entrance in your car you use to be able to pay for parking if not included on your ticket.
Yes, but you need to be able to show your ticket again. No hand stamp or bracelet. They actually made me show/scan all 6 family members tickets just to let only me back in.
It's always funny to hear people comment on things they don't understand. These animals were rescued and have no idea how to fend for themselves. You would condemn them to death if you released most of them.
Rides will only temporarily close if the rain is strong or if there is lightning. The shows take place indoors or will be covered and exhibits will be covered. The park stay mostly or fully open when it rains. 👍
I didn't see any bike securing ports, but i did see people coming in to the park on a bike. Im sure if u ask security personnel they will be able to point you in the right direction.
At this point in time you can see the dolphin show, the Orca show and the sea lion show. You have to decide if it's worth it to go for you and your family. You cannot go in to any of the indoor exhibits like the penguins, beluga whales, the shark encounter etc. Additionally, no rides are open and the children's playland is not open. My 3 year old still had a blast and we were not pressed for time but in the end we wish we waited for more stuff to be open
You have to make reservations (which you can do online), to make sure there's "room" at the park. I recommend doing everything online- tickets, reservations, parking, to save your self time once you get to the park.
The pass helps you not to stand in line for a long time and you can see and enjoy all the attractions that the park has. If you go for a day, I recommend you arrive since the park opens
why would they make a place called Sea World. Its a place to help animals get better to be released back into there natural habitat. They shouldn't use animal that were sick or inured for entertainment, its just wrong.
SHAME ON YOU SEA WORLD🖕🖕🖕

You need to educate yourself and stop listening to social media.
No food or drinks (expect water are allowed).
Accessibility is supported, not not sure about discounts.
You can also check their FAQ: https://seaworld.com/san-diego/faq/
If you go online, you can buy the any day tickets. They also have deals on two days visit and sea world plus Aquatica passes.
https://seaworld.com/san-diego/tickets/single-park-tickets/
Make sure you have your hand stamped! Bring an ice chest with soda's and sandwich so you can eat outside! They use to have picnic benches in the front near the parking! I use to do that with my Girl Scout Groups! You will save money that way!
The strollers are available for rent near the entrance as described by the park-map issued to you when pay for parking. (If you don't receive said map, look for a green box near the customer service counter; maps are usually stored in plenty there.)
Wt ell i dont where it is been a long time since i was there i was little when i came did it change from now or is it the same what do u guys have there can u please send me text
Was just their yesterday and the orca show was at 230 and theres no fee it was only once that they had a show for the orcas but all the shows are evenly spread thru out the day so you'll ba able see all and even more... The show times might change when u go but youll be able to kill the whole park in 6 hours with viewing all shows.. Hope this helps.. Have a good time i know u will i did!!
Hello I'm from Mexico and it would be the first time I visit the park, as soon as the entrance for two adults and a girl, and with that entrance you can see all the attractions, and you can enter food and drinks

Normally $ 99
If all the attractions the shows
And other animal attractions, like giving food.
I'm in San Diego.this coming thursday are they open on 31st december for new years eve and the opening and closing times and is there any fireworks pls ?
kelli McBride | Aug 18, 2019
Crowtown Buckeye | Aug 18, 2019
Unfortunately Sea world only does fireworks on July 4th. But there are several places in San Diego such as Mission Bay that do New year's Eve fireworks.
Guns and roses you are completely incorrect. They have both canopied ones and regular ones although if i had the money i would totally get the canopied one and raver-deck it out with lights and velvet... Im only 29 so no bueno on the 65dollar price.... People on retirement money can drop 65 to be comfortable all day which is what itcome to in the end. Do you want to be hot and sweaty all day or attatch a misty fan to the front of that wheelie cart and ride in air conditioned luxury???
We just got our free admission tickets for tomorrow. 7/15. Its valid pass July 4th. Active-duty passes are valid through December 2018. Veteran passes are valid through September 30th 2018
Well, if you go during weekdays its cheaper. Weekday fares are half, i think 30 per head or 60. Its given there. Kids under 3 go free. I went with family with 2 daughters under 3. Honestly after all the protests the orca show is not that great. Dolphin show is ok. The best part is probably the rides for the kids. There are many rides and really good. Also weekends will probably be packed. I hope this helps.
While you cannot swim with the dolphins, there are limited spots for animal encounters. In the an encounter, you may pet or feed the dolphins. You get your pictures with them, and get to interact with the animals.
It is also possible to pet the dolphins just visiting the tank area they are in. The walls allow for the dolphins to get close enough to touch them. They can also splash water on you, and will attempt to steal any objects you have in your hands. Please be careful with cameras and snacks in your hands around them.
Normally, it costs $70 per person (ages 3+), but there are other options available... Be sure to check out their website. Also have a look at websites like Groupon for other possible discounts.
No there is not. You can get 20 dollars off a single day ticket by buying it online! Honestly if you are somewhat local or will go more than once your best bet is a fun card membership !!
It's a new ticket deal for all no discounts as far as I know accept they would give u a discount if you have AAA insurance members card they take $5 off your ticket and the nrw deal is way better than this year..... Kids 89.99 for the whole year and 99.99 for the whole year also but with free parking
If you're just there for the rides, you can do them all in half a day, if you want to do shows you'll need a full day (you possibly could do shows and rides in half a day if you get the quick queue with show reservations option, it'll be tight in time but I've done it before).
The Sky ride that takes you across the bay and back also costs extra like the Sky Tower, but all the rest of the shows, rides and exhibits are included in the cost of your ticket. Have fun!
Your entry admission ticket covers all rides and shows except the sky tower ride and the sky ride. I don't know the price of rides but it should be under $10 per person.
Yes, you can leave and return. Make sure to stop by the front before you go to get a re-entry stamp. You'll show that and the original ticket at the gate for re-entry.
If you go on SeaWorld they have a link to troop ID or something and the service member gets a free ticket and 3 or 4 additional free tickets once per year. Then after the one use I believe service member gets in free always with your mil id
Yes. With canopy with tax is $107.75. Without canopy is $96.64. No pass member discount. Paperwork will be required to rent. Rentals is on the left hand side of guest relations
I can not Tell you the scientific reasons why it is dirty. Although I do know they are considered a bird and birds are not clean animals they do not care where or when they leave droppings. Also due to the fact that Sea World seems to be understaffed at this time after this time due to the pandemic and people not returning to work.
If you are referring to the free ones, they are only for certain months. Go to seaworlds website, then click on the menu button on the right corner. Then click on member portal. In there you should find your rewards. If there is a guest pass available, you click on redeem.
It includes everything in the park does not include there water park and if I was you buy the upgraded ticket which allows you to get 6 food or drink items, saves lots of money
My very recent experience is to buy the ticket online that is already discounted. I think there is no more discounts to offer.
When you arrive at the Sea World go to the guest service first to get the online ticket scanned. After that ask the clerk about the show time for killer whales, dolphin, sea lion and so on.
When I went there they do not allow you to bring some snacks or food except water bottle. They didnt ask me whether I am vaccinated or not. Everyone has to wear mask at all times.
I hope this help you a little bit what to expect
I traveled from Washington with my family. We got to see two shows in between 9 hrs. My children were really upset and I can’t express how that me feel. My question is who can I talk to about a refund?

I am sure there is a customer service center for Sea World. Give them a call and explain your situation.
No indoor attractions, so no beluga whales, no penguins, no octopus. No rides, kids zone is shut down. Shows are still going. Touch pools are still open. I think the restaurants are closed too but the concession stands were open.

There is a world wide pandemic. Every other theme park in the world is closed.
Finding it hard to believe they would open and even harder to understand, if they were open, why someone would go.
Check this link out you can pick any day and it will tell you so you can plan your day accordingly. https://seaworld.com/san-diego/park-info/theme-park-hours/
Just took our 6yo, 3yo and 1yo granddaughters. The Sesame Street play area is closed, all the rides are closed. They enjoyed the usual shows and seeing the animals in their exhibits. We went on a Friday and there were no crowds.
Just went yesterday.
All rides are closed. May exhibits are also closed (mostly indoor exhibits.
Most outdoor viewing is open, as are the seal, orca, and dolphin shows
1. Parking. Is not restricted to once in no return the same day. Annual passes parking is included.. If you are staying locally, I recommend a car service such as Uber which will bypass the parking. Currently there are Covid protocols in place, which do not prevent you from returning to your vehicle and then re-entry to the Park. Enjoy a day at SeaWorld San Diego.

Travis Garrett | Aug 17, 2020
I was just there. I didn't see everything but the sky tower and the Atlantis rides were closed. Tidal twister was closed. Other than that I think everything was open. I know the kids rides were all open, the eel, manta, and rapids were running.
You have to buy a ticket to get in and it's $73.99 if you buy online or $93.99 at the gate. The ticket covers most of the rides except the Skytower and Sky ferry. They cost additional $5 or $6 each.
Here is information on our food and beverage policy.
Restaurants and concession stands are conveniently located throughout the park. Hard and soft coolers, glass containers, food such as sandwiches, meals, etc., and flavored drinks may not be taken into the park. Water bottles may be taken into the park. For your convenience, picnic areas are available outside the park adjacent to the entrance/exit plaza. If leaving the park to enjoy your food, please have your hand stamped for re-admittance. Guests with medical diets or baby formula should speak with a park representative for assistance before entering the park.
I see well that's not helpful. It says kids go free and I'm assuming the confusion might be that the month of October is only for the dolphin experience. Hope that helps!
Sea World rents electric scooters & they come with & without a sun canopy.
You need to reserve one ahead of your visit. You can do it online.
Look under Parking & Stroller rental on their website.
Scroll down, and you should find it easily.

Tickets cost around $ 70 for tickets Monday through Friday and a little more on weekends. We just went on Monday and it was a little over $ 400 for 5 people and parking nearby. Please, forgive any error in my Spanish.
You can bring a backpack or a few backpacks. We had 2 backpacks (loaded with snacks and waterbottles) and a diaper bag. You go through a security check with bags and lockers are optional.
The schedule can be checked on the official website (since it changes depends on the season). The show they mention (type Cirque de Soleil), which is at the end of the day, is a must. Greetings.
Oh okay, I've heard that you can but you can have them on a leash? I was just asking because my mom has 2 small dogs. A service dog and a non service one. But thank you.
The free tickets did not apply to Aquatica. If you bought the 3 park annual digital San Diego pass. I didn't know Aquatica was apart of that deal. I know that Costco is selling 3 day pass tickets to Legoland, Aquatica, and the Wild Animal Park (one park per day) and they good for one year.
Gabriela just go to where you buy the ticket in person at SeaWorld and ask to change the name they will ask u for the card you use to pay for the tickets
Don't know specifically for September 3rd but I know that the regular hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. w
What you could is go on to their website they have a calendar and you could check the the day specifically I hope that helps:)
It's better during the weekdays. If you get there early you need to run for the rides! If you have children it's better on the weekdays! Weekends are so crowded they bringing buses all day long!

Yes, without the sun shining bright, and with the temp being about 60 deg F., those without protection would find it cold. +sea breezes and constant use of water @ SeaWorld.
NBecause I was waiting in this long line it was after 10:30 and this man I guess security man said sea world wouldn't be open for 2 hours and even then he didn't know if sea world would be open. Alot of people including me left
Dont expect to accomplish much when you first get there. Nothing really opened until 11. Then at the end they started shutting things down at 5 and by 5:30 only thing open was 2 gift shops. We got the line pass thing that was worth it. We also got the food thing, eat every hour, but the food wasn't great and we ended up not even finishing the meals and we went to every participating restaurant which was only like seven. The places that weren't participating had better food. The shows were great just make sure you get there early or you will have rude people just stand In your way.
My family and i just went 3 days earlier they didn't allow outside food or drinks but the wagon is not a problem preferably close parking to tow the wagon
When enter park it not organized to point that get in with not feel you already long wait and what to first and since regular visitors l liked it very much and don't trust any peta supporters now or ever

1st I want to say Thank You for your service.
Go onto the Ses World San Diego website, click on buy tickets, scroll down and you will see where military and families can get in for free through the Waves of Honor program.
Again Thank you for your service.
Are there rides that the elderly can go on and are there still a lot of shows and things to do other than roller coasters and fast rides?

They are a couple kids ride that elderly can go on. I was able to watch the dolphin and there were a few other schedule. There are alot of arcade and feeding animal
For the shows dolphin and orca they have seating section especially for wheelchairs. I haven't seen that its much of a problem. Hope that answers your question.
From their site - Parking for a single car is $22 for General Parking, starts at $27 for Up-Close Parking and starts at $35 for VIP Parking. Parking for RVs and campers is $40 and parking for motorcycles is $20 - these options can only be purchased at the park.
We bought 5 annual passes and they expire in July we watch the passes are entitled to 2 free guests before the 30th of April, my question is if it can be any day and if all the passes are yhusl

Block days (those dates you can not visit). Review The small print, who come The dates you can not.
If you are going to spend at least 2 days buy the Silver Annual pass. It's cheaper than 2 day admission and comes with free parking which is worth it. Also, it gives you discounts on other things. Check it out on their website
They start as early as 1100 to 1145
And goes to about 630 for the last orca show.
But that's correct various shows are at different times, usuly enough time to watch a show and head over to the next.
Yes you can bring in sealed water bottles, juices and refillable bottles. You can bring in snacks as well within reason. They also allow in coolers but limit the size. Check their website for a more comprehensive description of what's allowed
We drove from LA and we were the first to arrive. It took nearly 2 hours. I think there were few rides. But we didnt go on them. We went in around 10am and were out by about 3pm.
As far as I know, they do not randomly check people visiting ANY theme park. Or the areas around, or, at all. Right? I think it's illegal.
There is a check point, which I believe is used for emergencies and to weigh trucks, I think it's in San Onofre? Or just before?
If you see them around, they may be answering a call, or, just cruising around.
Hello they are open 11am to 7pm and SeaWorld won't have nightly fireworks this summer. ...SeaWorld's new nighttime show -- Electric Ocean -- means no nightly fireworks this summer. SeaWorld's summertime tradition of nightly fireworks will be absent this year, as the San Diego park makes way for a new nighttime attraction it is calling Electric Ocean.
I believe it is 50% off or so and up to 3 guests. They have/had this promo for vets but you have to be active duty. And this got you in for free with family. Good luck bud.
They have an all day dinning pass I believe it's $35 per person. You can ask anyone who works on the stands that sell snacks and most of them will sell it to you there. We are pass holders so we normally take our own. Which is something you can do as well and are allowed to eat them anywhere. I hope this was helpful for you!
So if you buy the tickets for Friday they have a bogo for Fridays only. It's buy one get one free which comes out to be like 45 dollars a ticket. But it must be bought online and for Friday only...
Can you stay open for 3more hours I have found a dolphin in the ocean heart and looks sick 😭😭😭😭

Parking is around $20 and the VIP parking goes to $35 but it's not a big difference where VIP parking and general parking are. In the end its not worth it paying $15 more to be a little bit closer to front.
Yes, they have electric scooters available for rent starting at $55.00 and electric scooters with canopies available starting at $65.00. You can reserve and purchase online.
There are always different promotions. Make sure to check on Groupon from time to time as well. Also, sometimes its better to juat buy the Annual Pass vs. a one day ticket. Low monthly payments.

Also you can check with AAA or Costco or online to see if there are any discounts from food places or grocery stores at the time you want to buy your tickets. Also the company you work for, or family and friends jobs might have corporate discounts.

When we went they were $59 for a weekday tickets and $79 for the weekend. I think they have a sale right now $39 for a weekday and $59 for a weekend so it's a good time to go if you can.
Good question. Unless we missed a email or something in the mail. We did not get any free guest passes at this point, and we've had our passes since March. I'll look into the free guest passes now that you mentioned it
Yes, I didn't read anything about black out dates or anything. You register online and they give you electronic tickets that are good within that year anytime.
I am sure you can but just remember how. One way is once you booked the ticket the pdf can be downloaded and email to your self and then access ur email from phone and download it. So you can get it scanned when you are at the gate.
Instead of wasting your time typing out a Google question. You could be going to their website, clicking tickets at the top and do your own research. Good luck!
Enjoy unlimited admission for 12 months plus FREE general parking, bring a friend tickets on select dates and in-park discounts.
That's from there website
Summer is always a great time, although you will get much larger crowds. My wife and I go several times a year and we find the best time is usually in late April or early May. There's not a lot of crowds and the weather is gorgeous. September and early October are also nice.
Manta is fun but there isn't a lot beyond that. Eel is coming. Rapids was cute. Lots to walk and look at and interact with. Not the place to go for rides but a free fun ones.
I can only comment on the Orca & Dolphin shows - they are only about 15 minutes long. The stadiums fill up quickly too so I suggest arriving at least 20 minutes early.
Fun card is great way to get started. If you love Sea World, upgrade one pass to get free parking and 10 percent off food and gifts. Great way to enjoy San Diego!
The annual pass is how you become a member. It is the basic annual pass. They have additional levels that give you access to additional parks and preferred seating at events
Yes, that stupid lying movie black fish has changed how humans can interact with the whales. The trainers are not allowed in the water with them any longer because they might get killed.
Easy pay online is the easiest way... sometimes you can find discounts online for single day admission, but if your local the year pass is the way to go, totally worth it
Hours vary throughout the year. Occasionally Sea World opens at 9am. Restrooms are available to the right of the entrance before entering, and throughout the park inside.
How much does the entrance cost per adult and per child?
Mi pagina Google | Aug 18, 2018
Carlos Reynoso | Aug 18, 2018
Children under 3 years old do not pay. From there, all $ 90. 00 USD per person and $ 110. 00 USD, annual pass; although the latter, it is only convenient if you frequent San Diego several times a year.
Yes, it is free for military and you can bring as many as 4 adults on your free ticket...also free for toddlers... making it free for 5 plus toddlers...Awesome
According to the rules, food isn't allowed. But the people who check bags let it slide with some leniency. We had some snacks and got through with an excuse of not having had breakfast (which was true though)
Have a look at the terms and conditions for the various types of tickets. For a single day pass I believe you can save it up for and use it at anytime (within a year) for multiple entries for the day you do use it.
It's a fun time for the kids, educational for adults, and expensive for the frugal...Buy the Eat-all-day pass and get your money's worth. Shows are great! Catch them all if you can.
I bought an annual Holiday Special Pass last year 12/23/2016, and it is valid till 12/30/2017. I believe if you buy annual pass any other time of the year, it probably is valid for one calendar year precisely.
SeaWorld provides a pet facility for $20 per day. It operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. We do not take reservations for this facility. Kennels are approximately 4ft by 8ft and are outside under some coverage. SeaWorld is not responsible for your pet. You must bring your own bowls and food. You may use the water available onsite and visit your pet throughout the day. The kennels are conveniently located to the left of the Parking Lot Toll Booths.
Why does seaworld mobile website suck so bad? All that money and a android phone has problems navigating website just to purchase passes. Does anybody else find it difficult. I will use my wife lesser iphone.
If you have a wheelchair the park is equipped with wheelchair accessible entrances at the front gate and all of the attractions if you have a wheelchair but are unable to transport it we offer rentals both electric and standard we also offer wheelchairs with sun shades
Buy it online and it works out like 1500 depends a lot on the dollar price but I just went. Csmbia the price if it is weekend at 100 usd and at the box office it is more expensive. Buy refill bebids seem expensive but throughout the day the expense is justified
My wife and I went on a Thursday. Crowd was not bad. My military discount on their Web site was free. My advice would be to try and stay away from weekends if you can.

I don't know exactly what your college is offering but normally a two day pass for SeaWorld as only one restriction which is the second day has to be within 7 days.
You can speak to the guest services desk and they can offer advice and sometimes special assistance passes for rides and shows. Just explain the type of assistance you need as just naming disabilities won't necessarily get you any assistance.
