Well, if you go during weekdays its cheaper. Weekday fares are half, i think 30 per head or 60. Its given there. Kids under 3 go free. I went with family with 2 daughters under 3. Honestly after all the protests the orca show is not that great. Dolphin show is ok. The best part is probably the rides for the kids. There are many rides and really good. Also weekends will probably be packed. I hope this helps.
It's $89 for a single park day pass if you live in San Diego it might be worth it to get season passes there a $109 but you get free parking which is usually $20 a Anyways. If you use it twice in 12 months it will easily pay for itself.
You get a better deal on line. If you go to the gate cost is $89. On line you can purchase upfront parking and all day meal ticket, total bargain, instead of buying all at the park, don't forget to take some cash. As far as animals they claim to have over 400, didn't get to see them all. Great time!!
We went on Thursday last week and it was $60 per person. It costs more on the weekends and even more if you buy tickets at the gate. Get them in advance on their website.
The cost of pens on if you're buying a pass and which type of pass or if you're just going for the day. I would check their website for the latest prices. As for animals they have 3 different animal shows. While at Sea World you can see killer whales, dolphins, penguins, Beluga whales, there are also animals you can touch. There is a nice variety of animals that live in the Ocean.
