Is this a place where I could take my 1 year old? It’s his birthday soon and I want him to enjoy his day.

Not for a one year old ...wait one more year and he will enjoy it ..

I would say more for 3 to 5 year olds. They got a little section of rides for that age . 1 is to small in my opinion

Definitely, the shows are family oriented. They have stroller rentals and children under 2 free.

I would say no because I feel that unless you're bringing other kids, he wouldn't be tall enough to go on any rides or enjoy watching the marine animal shows because he wouldn't know too much about what's going on.
