The place is huge. They charge $20 per car as entry or $40 per car for whole year.
There is a separate attraction pass for all the other attractions. Covering all the attractions might be rushing a bit.
The one that we covered were
1. Scenic train
2. 4D theater - it was just ok..
3. Skyride
4. Dino park
In around 4 hours and ran out of time.
I reckon coming early to the park and spending the whole day if you want to cover all attractions.

I have a yearly pass only $45 so l go walking and on hikes regularly l love the atmosphere
The cost of parking has gone up to $20 a day and $40 for a year. The attractions are an additional $34.95 +tax Adult and $29.95 + tax kids. You could also get the sky ride attraction for $15+ tax both ways. All prices are per person and accurate as of 1/7/19.
Hi Delores! Parking is inside of the park, so you do not have to leave the park to get to your car. If you would like to leave the park and return, you can do so as long as you have your parking receipt.
Only cats and dogs are allowed in the park. Pets are not allowed in many of the public areas including the Lasershow Lawn, the Walk Up Trail, or Special Events Areas.
$15 per vehicle for park entrance, $40 for annual pass. ($35 on GroupOn.) Other attractions/ shows/ events have their own ticket pricing on the Stone Mountain website.
That is a great question. I’m really not sure but I’d check out the Stone Mountain Park website to see if that helps. Id assume they would close the trail during the laser show since fireworks are involved. Hope that helps you a little!
Always ticks in wooded areas of N Ga. Stn Mtn Park tries to keep them under control. Don't go charging through the bushes and you probably won't have a problem.
The show starts at 930pm. You can arrive anytime during the day and set up your blanket to claim a spot. It gets pretty packed, but you can still find a spot right before the show. I would suggest getting a spot no later than 8pm.

Dogs and cats are allowed on a leash not longer than 6ft. They are not allowed in many public areas including the Lasershow Lawn, the Walk Up Trail or Special Events Areas. They also are not allowed on attractions.
Check out the Stone Mountain Park FAQs at https://www.stonemountainpark.com/FAQs
The trails are open (as of last weekend (5-31-2020). However the ride up to the top was closed. All all other attractions were closed at that time, including their information center, rides, and cafes.
From their website: Only dogs and cats are welcome to visit the park. They must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and they are not allowed in many of the public areas including the Lasershow Lawn, the Walk Up Trail, or Special Events Areas. Pets are not allowed on the attractions.
Yes $26 for non lakeside spots $36 for lakeside https://www.stonemountainpark.com/Campground/Campground-Sites-and-Amenities/Tent-Sites plus the $20 park admission
The gates to enter the park close at midnight, but the gates to exit are always open.Yes , you can stay as long as you want with the parking pass , and yes fish as long as you want.Only thing is you cant sleep in your car anywhere in the park.
Privately Managed State Park..... it's not really a state park on the same level as some of our wonderful state parks. It's a lot of fun and I'm not taking anything away from Some Mountain but it's not managed by the Ga state parks department. Just to be real about it!!!
However, you can choose to get a one way ticket for $8 dollars. If you are planning on hiking back down you would only have to pay $8, and if you are planning on hiking up and riding down. That is totally an option too.
lots of wrong answers here. Stone Mountain park is a state park that is OPERATED by a private company; The park is still owned by the state;
"The Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation currently has a contract to operate park attractions while the Stone Mountain Memorial Association retains ownership and the right to reject any project deemed unfit."
There's a $20 parking fee and a charge if you plan on taking the skyride. If you get a Groupon pass for Stone mountain park, you can go on several experiences at the park and take the skyride with the proof of purchase. The cost is about $19.
If I observed that several people walked with their pets throughout the park, the only prohibition was to upload them to the cable car car they do not let them get on the normal rest
It is not year round. Seasonal mostly. Starts back 4th of July, spring break, then off. Then back for summer break, then off until pumpkin festival, and then thanksgiving and Christmas. Answer coming from an employee. Just a relay of message.
Yes, to the fact that it does have confederacy history. Stone Mountain is so much more than that though. There are the Skyview gondolas, train, putt putt, hotels, golfing...this last Saturday we enjoyed an event called "Halloween Spooktacular" a family, fun filled night.
Nope, you have to enter the property to see the carving... I think it's $20 per vehicle to enter... Or, park downtown Stone Mountain for free and walk to the park and enter the property for free
The day I went, which was day in week, it came out at about 3:00 p.m. in the same park, I don't know if the weekend is higher, but on the internet I had seen them at 19.95 (Groupon)
Yes! Masks being outside all day in 70+ degrees was miserable. Food was horrible and wait time for the food was ridiculous. Overpriced, rundown and not worth the money at all. My boys are 8 and 9, if that helps.
Call Stone Mountain Park for information. It cost $10 a day to enter the park for parking. Maybe if you don't have a vehicle, you could enter for free. I'm not sure. Annual pass is $40.
I am so sorry 🙈 I only did the 5 miles and totally shocked myself, because this was my first time there. Also my first time🚶♂️that amount of miles at one time so I can't help you out with the 📏📐 or the. 🔳 🤷♀️🙊
Fishing is permitted in Stone Mountain Lake from 6:00 AM until midnight. There are five types of fish in the lake: bass, carp, crappie, catfish, and bream.
Private boats are allowed on the lake each day of the week during daylight hours. Boats must be launched from the Public Boat Ramp located near the Evergreen Pavilion. Outboard motors in excess of 10 hp are not allowed on the lake. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on any privately-owned boat. For a detailed overview of park ordinances (sections 4-102 & 4-103), click here.
Access to the park is included with a daily or annual parking pass and you must also have a valid Georgia Fishing License in order to fish
Can get more information from Stone Mountain park website. Research is a thing.
There is no charge to use the picnic area/tables. It's first come first serve. I do see that sometimes, especially around the holiday time, some tables are reserved with their family name or decorations on them. Not sure if in order to reserve tables ahead of time for special occasions you need to pay. But if you are just visiting and want to use a table or grill area, you can do so.
Is openly carrying firearms permitted in Stone Mountain Park.

The website stonemountainpark.org that had previously listed all ordinances for Stone Mountain Park, GA has been administratively shut down. The park's remaining public website stonemountainpark.com does not make any mention of firearm rules that I can find, so the answer to this question would be best answered by park management. Regardless of the park's firearm rules, please note that all federal, state, and county regulations still apply to Stone Mountain Park property regarding firearms.
Is the hike up and down kid friendly?

I took my children but they are in their teens and pre teens. There were younger children walking too but I wouldn't suggest for toddlers, definitely no strollers
Keep watching the website for information as to when the attractions will reopen. As of 5-31-20, no dates for reopening the attractions had been announced or posted. Sorry I couldn't help more
I know it says no dogs, but I saw a handful of people taking their dogs up the mountain when I was there this past weekend. Didn't see them elsewhere in the park though.
How much is the entrance and if you can send me the days that will be open in the month of December and January

Entrance fees vary depending on the type of car. I drove the minivan and paid at the entrance of $ 20, and the cable car fee is additional. I approached but it was a good time.
Hello! We would love to help facilitate a birthday party with an inflatable bounce house. Please give our Group Sales Department a call at 770-498-5636.
It really depends on what you plan to do. Theres a park, hiking trail , live shows, cable car ride and also a train ride. If you plan to do everything and also eat lunch whether purchased there or brought from home than yes, it's an all day event.
we have a three-year-old and he had a blast. There is a bug exhibit to walk through that is big statues of insects. there is an area called The Dinoterrium and there's little play areas for the tiny kids there. There is also a geyser tower where they can get wet. There is a playground, they can ride the train and I think there is a barnyard area, but we didn't make it there when we visited. Hope this helps!
Part of the charm is that this monumental park is so big with do many different things to do that even with crowds it's not too bad. Weekends and holidays are the busiest! The village might be crowded but the flow of people through the shops is steadily. Probably the longest lines are for the skylift up to the top of the mountain, the duck rides onto the water lake and the train. The best thing is to arrive with blankets, chairs and cooler and set yourself up on the "lawn" in front of the monument, you can leave these things and walk about, play and it'll still be there later. Don't leave valuables....be smart it's still a park. There are also areas you can drive to for a picnic in the woods.parking/entrance fee can be a bit hefty for a day visit but an annual pass for $40 is great! Basically you can go on a weekday and it's not too bad, if you're not into crowds and the little shops you go after the season and take in the history and natural beauty. Always check for big events
It's been a few years since I've been, but they were allowed then. I do know that they are not allowed on the walk-up trail, but you can bring them on any other trail around the mountain.
It cost $20 to drive into the park regardless of how many people you have in the car. A yearly pass is $40. There are things to do inside the park that cost various amounts.
It is $20.00 for daily parking. This will allow you to access all trails, including hiking to the top of the mountain. An additional $31.95 per person gets you access to all attractions like riding the cable car to the top of the mountain, a train ride, the Sky Hike, and the splash pad.
Its 20 for one day and 40 for annual. Thats just for parking. The attractions have seperate prices or you can pay for several attractions together. It would be cheaper thank just paying for each. Also it doesnt costa extra for the láser show. You would only pay for the parking.
1. You can walk and bike (verify safety) the trails throughout the park. Driving speed is 25 mph.
2. If you have a kayak, Stand Up Paddle (SUP), canoe, or very small powered boat, then you can enjoy the lake.
3. You can explore Evergreen: the Marriott Resort and Conference Center. You can see the Mountain from there and there are trails nearby.
4. Fishing is allowed. You need to verify the requirements.
5. Check the schedules for various festivals that don't require a fee (especially if you arrive during certain off peak times). These are extremely popular. Many teams bike here prior to competitions.
6. You can explore the covered bridges.
7. The distance around the mountain is about 5 miles.
Hope that helps you with enjoying the exploration you're planning Kyleigh.

There are plenty of outdoor pavilions to do something like that, you may be able to do something on the inside at the hotel or something if you called them.
It costs $20 to get in the Park. There are several ticket prices, starting around $30. Online there are some discounts that have to be ordered in advance. Most of the packages include a two hour session for tubing down the mountain, and for playing in the snow village/play area. Go to www.stonemountainpark.com (events) to get all the details.
Good day. Do you charge for access per person? What time is the show at night? Thank you

Access is by car, not per person, the show, if you're talking about the lazer show, that starts when it gets dark.
But you have to be there early if you don't find a parking space. I heard it's $20 per car, but I pay $40 for the annual pass.
Once you pay to get into the park,$15, you can take the sky lift for $10 or you can just walk up and down for free. It's 1.2 miles each way. It's a fun walk. Water and restrooms at both top and bottom
I took my dog up the mountain but I stayed off the trail about 20 to 50 feet so that there was not any problems. I take my dog everywhere I go. My dog does not have a problem with that either. And she is not ever on a leash.
They have different packages to purchase, we got the all included package whitch allows u to do everything in the park and Lazer show it was $36 per person and after 4:00pm $26 per person kids under 2 free
Dawn, the trails don't have posted hours to my knowledge. The only signs I've seen reference dusk and dawn. As long as the sky has some blue in it it's open.
YES!! YES!! YES!! You can bring your own watercraft and use it on Stone Mountain Lake. The public boat launch is located next to the Evergreen Marriot Resort off of Stonewall Jackson Drive.
The park has a couple hotels for $$$$. If you want to save you can stay in the town for $$$ out you can just stay in Atlanta which is only a short drive.
Awesome. They have 3 types of tubes this year, single, double, and family. There is a moving sidewalk to pull you and your tube up the hill. The line moves pretty fast, so you can get in a lot of slides in your 2 hour time slot. The staff is very friendly. You will have a great time!
Do you have to pay

Yea i think a day visit is around 5 or ten dollars or a year pass is like 30
The dinosaur area is a small section right next to the duck boats I'm not familiar with the camp ground but if you look for the duck boat location you will be close to the dinosaur exhibit.

Not sure when the last train ride is before closing.
Google stone mountain discounts to see if there is anything special. Parking is $15 per Car. Attractions charge per person but you can walk up the mountain at no additional charge or just drive around and not have to pay beyond parking
Pets are not allowed in certain areas of the park, but there are many areas they are welcome. Walking trails and generally around the base of the mountain, with the exception of the viewing lawn.
How much do the tickets for a family of 6 people that consists of 4 children and 2 adults please agree?

The pass for each vehicle is $ 40.00 per year and $ 15.00 per day, you have access to the entire park, except for some extra attractions that have an additional cost each.
