Blow STONE MOUNTAIN UP!

The carving is still there, Stone Mountain was once owned by the Venable Brothers. It was purchased by the State of Georgia in 1958 "as a memorial to the Confederacy." Owned and paid for by the state of Georgia, Stone Mountain is the most-visited tourist attraction in the state. The largest bas-relief sculpture in the world. Being an art grad I appreciate the art, what it stood for sucks, it is a reminder of what was and where we shall not return. I say keep the carving and remove other confederate Paraphernalia unless it is in the museum. Like Germany Statues are a reminder of the holocaust, carvings in the sidewalk of names from the holocaust, are there as a constant reminders of where one will not return. A holocaust dedicated museum to those suffered in the holocaust ..reminder and teaching tool for new generations to come. We could learn from them how they moved forward and not repeat that history...and so many more
