You have to pay for a parking pass to enter the park. If you live in the area or plan on going more than once it is def worth it for the year pass
It was gated when we went and you needed s ticket/armband. They actually turned people away that needed to use the restroom.
There is a gate fee at the park entrance.

Well it all depends I was just there and girl said if you pay like 5.00 for the show you can walk in with you ticket and eat but you can't enjoy anything else without that band
No. It's like every other theme park. There is a walking trail and hike without paying, but not accessible to shop, rides or restaurants. This is just an observation whilst there. You can call and ask to be sure as I am not 100% sure.
