Good afternoon
How far is Yankee Stadium from La Guardia International Airport???
AJ | Sep 20, 2019
Leonel Barragán | Sep 20, 2019
As a minimum of 45 minutes taking into account traffic, roadblocks and crossing bridges on a good day or weekend. The best route would be to take the RFK Bridge (Tri-Boro) to the Grand Central through the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens. Goodnight.
If it is a Yellow Taxi with a visible insurance plate, there is no problem. In my opinion, Uber is the better option. You can tomato at 3am because the traffic is minimal.
Well, I do prefer "JFK" airport. However, "La Guardia" would do the trick as well. It depends which location are you heading to. Once in New York, don't forget to do the "Statue of Liberty" ferry tour, and go visit 9/11 memorial museum and park. Go and hit the "Village" at night or anytime, and of course time Square, 42 street and around, go ahead and take a tour in the "Red double decker bus" it's a nice educational ride. Good luck, God bless!!!
We got there and hour early during Christmas coming from Brooklyn at 5 am. Arrive early because the terminal has more to offer now. TSA was attentive, moved quickly. The terminal has Restaurants, many souvenir vendors, open, bright. I'm Waiting for the bridge to help lower congestion. Parking, etc. Traffic was less congested. Once they get the signs, exits, traffic lights and ramps correctly timed and helpful to the drivers and customers... LaGuardia Airport will be worth the aggravation over the years.
LaGuardia is generally faster to get to the city. however, current construction there makes getting transport to the city a little bit more complicated than from the other airports. Also, more sensitive to weather related delays. If times square is your main destination, Newark is about the same distance / tine,
Yes...you're able to stay there. Many people will be there, I've landed at 1am there and arrived at 5am other times for morning flight. I always see people, always. You'll never be alone. Plus theres alot of construction going on and theres more people at all times. There are ticket agents at all airlines. Several seat to sit by those areas.
Your beat options are to stay within the airport.. Make use of the internet or online movies..If you do leave it's not easy going through TSA lines. The airport haa restaurants in case you need a bite to eat..
24 hours is not that much time for NYC...but if you have a ton of money I would take a taxi into Manhattan stay in a lovely hotel eat a fine meal and go shopping in some world class stores !!! If time permits try the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State building....but you really need more time to see all the wonderful sights of NYC. If your hotel is located in midtown Manhattan you will be able to get some sightseeing in!!!
The difference in time would also depend on whether you are traveling on a weekday or weekend. I've used the M60 to get from LGA to Midtown (to the 125th 4/5 stop and then to Grabd Central) on a weekday morning and it has taken roughly an hour. However, i recently traveled the other direction during a weekday afternoon and it took twice that time due to traffic. Note that NYC buses and subways are often on modified schedules during the weekends and there can be delays due to the modified schedules.
Not the best time now. Due to airport construction work outside the airport, the assistance outside airport is complicated and confusing and there is no proper service help that one can get. eg: the airport staff was clueless about shuttle services.
If you take the M60 to 125th St Harlem you can pick up the Metro North line which goes along the coast of Connecticut to New Haven. Stamford or new Haven you can get Amtrak. You can also take that from Penn station NY if your destination is further out

Fernando... I don't want to be rude to you but this is not the place to ask these types of questions...
If you have luggage and/or a time constraint then a cab or uber/Lyft would be easiest. It can cost as much as 60 bucks tho. If there is NO traffic (very rare) it would be about a 25 mins but expect closer to an hour. Public transport would take you at least 2 hrs.
Not directly. You'd have to take a bus to a NYC train that goes into the city, 34th St, (Madison Square Garden) where there, downstairs you can catch the train that goes into NJ.
At this moment, the airport officials are not checking anything related to COVID-19. All you need to do is to keep your mask on during the entire time you are inside the airport or aircraft premises.
However, the situation may change. So, please be prepared for all sorts of possibilities!
Wish you a safe and happy journey!
If you can. Before arriving at the terminals you will find the spaces for board per day. In these places they offer shuttle service to pick you up and take you to your terminal and back to your car.
Here is more information in the league:

Approximately 1 hour drive depending on traffic, good luck
I plan on going to Sacramento California for two weeks, leaving from NYC. I've already received the COVID 19 vaccine, so, do I still need to have a COVID 19 test before leaving NYC and when returning from California?

NO. But for updated info, Check California travel website

Take the Q70-SBS bus to Roosevelt Ave/74 Street in Wooside switch there to the E train heading to Manhattan and get off at Penn station/ 34th Street.
Depending on the time of the day it should take about 45 minutes.
As of April 1st there is no quarantine but currently you have to have a negative test completed mo more than 3 days upon arrival otherwise 10 day quarantine
3 airports in NYC area (2 in Queen/Newark's in New Jersey. LaGuardia will be closer to Manhattan.. But if you fly in to JFK you can take the Express A subway train directly to 42nd Port Authority station," (Midtown) then perhaps walk from there. But from LaGuardia you can take a ride app (Uber/link) or taxi. Of course you can maneuver the buses, which may be a bit challenge. So JFK then the A train (subway) will be more of a straight and affordable shot.
You need to fill out New York health form online. When completed, you'll get a green check mark on your completed form indicating you have. There are national guardsmen before you exit the arrival lounge to check. If you don't have it, they make you complete a paper form. To the best of my knowledge, they just look at the green check mark. I don't know what check mark you get off you have a negative result and what they do.
There are no Covid test requirements but you will be asked to fill out a Covid questionnaire either on paper at the airport or online using the qr code
The terminal you fly into depends on the airline you are flying on. Each airline has designated gates they can park their planes into, so the gate number will tell you what terminal you will be going into.
You do not need a negative test. They may ask you to quarantine if staying in NY. If passing through, then no. For intl arrivals a questionnaire was completed online and that's it.
That's funny I did ask a few pilots about that. I was told the runways can accomadate enough the 767's and A330's. Community noise has always been a problem with that aircraft, so i heard. 🙄
Not really, flushing meadow park, is near. But 4 hrs is not a long time with NY traffic. If u r in terminal B. There is a decent food court, very new terminal. The others are in he midst of construction
what kind of transportation from airport to time square area ?
Dennis Tiede | Sep 19, 2020
Sam Tam | Sep 19, 2020
Public transportation: M60 SBS Bus to Manhattan, Broadway x 116th St, #1 train south to 42nd St Times Square
More expensive: taxi, car service, shared ride
It depends on how you are getting there and whether you have Clear and/or TSA/Pre. If you are being dropped off and have all these, an hour should be fine. If you don't, you should allow at least 2 hours to get to the terminal, plus the time to get from car rental to terminal which can take an additional hour if you are really unlucky.

I don't have a good, complete answer for you beyond getting an answer in writing from the relevant authorities. With that, bear in mind that it is not legal at a federal level, and crossing state lines via aircraft means that different laws will be in force than you might otherwise have expected from the city or state.

From La Guardia you can probably take a flight to one of the hubs of American airlines (Dallas, Miami, Chicago or Atlanta) and from there by one of them to Mexico.
Actually there are many ways to get to Mexico from La Guardia, but I advise you to leave from JFK that has direct flights.
According to the website of the TSA you can.

Is not so far but could be expensive, ask for shuttles not sure about price, or public transportation to the nearest subway station and from there arrive to JFK by subway. But all depends in the luggage you have if is big or heavy go by Uber or taxi.
It depends, is it airline, air terminal or airport which is being affected by it. Go online to your aircarrier, or the airport website or 1010WINS or check the weather reports throughout the country and do the work in discovering the answer for yourself. You seem to have enough knowledge with this app to place this question here, you should have no difficulty on Google, bing or Firefox web browser, weather apps, traffic apps etc., to get your answers.
Subway is faster if you don't have too much luggage. Is not so far depends of traffic. I stay in a Hostel in the upper West side of central park less than 2 blocks from subway and the Central Park I even walk to Time Square by the nights, hostel was cheap and clean you can look for this kind of option. Enjoy NY!
Check booking.com I went a month ago but better stay close to Central Park in a Hostel was cheap close to subway or walking to Times Square few blocks. If you prefer Hotel than Hostal also some options depends of budget. If you will stay more than a weekend check some rent or airnb Brooklyn is nice not so expensive. Good luck!
It's less than an hour to JFK. That's with some traffic factored in. You should be okay to make it, but factor in security/parking any other variables once you arrive.
Are there shuttles available to take us to Brooklyn cruise port?
Carol Conti | Sep 19, 2020
Jordon Shadey Cookies | Sep 19, 2020
Contact the Brooklyn Cruise Port for information regarding Shuttle Service. A 3rd party would be involved with that service.
The TSA would offer Shuttle Buses when a destination is also a TSA responsibility. Example: The LIRR or MTA 7Train station Hub at Woodside Queens to the Terminals of LGA. This is only if bus or train service is limited due to emergency or scheduled repairs.
There is so much construction at the airport, but
1. take the Tri-boro Bridge to the Grand Central Pkwy, and
2. follow the signs towards LGA. They will say GCP Eastern Long Island LA Guardia Airport.
3.Merge onto I-278 W
4.use 2 lane from the right lane
Take exit 7 towards Terminal B/C/D LGA
5.use left lane, stay left at fork in road, keep diving towards Central Terminal Drive
6.Keep left,
7.Merge onto Central Terminal Drive
8.use the middle lane,, turn left slightly staying on Central Terminal Drive
9.then you are at Terminal B.
Now somewhere before this will be your ramp for parking IF CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN COMPLETED AT THAT PARKING TERMINAL LOT.
CALL THE AIRPORT, ASK IF PARKING IS AVAILABLE OR DO YOU NEED TO PARK AT THE NEXT TERMINAL.

There is a taxi line outside the airport. Follow signs for taxi. Brooklyn is huge, so without specifics it's impossible to give you directions. Google Maps will give you great public transportation directions if you plug in the address.

Cynthia McCollom | Sep 19, 2020

Due to traffic conditions I dont think so. But the flights are cheaper compare to jfk
Travel times very much depend upon the time of day. Weekday rush hour traffic could turn a 45-minute cab ride into an hour and 45. And any special events could have a similar impact. I would plan on an hour ride each way but know that you shouldn't cut it too close. Get in early, leave late, and enjoy all the time you can at Times Square, Central Park, and The Met.

Coriena Dickson | Sep 19, 2020
Gitty Rosenberg | Sep 19, 2020
The fastest will be by car (yellow cab, uber etc), and will take about an hour depending on traffic. The cheapest is public transportation. The Q70 SBS, then the E to Penn Station, and from there are multiple Jersey lines that will take you to EWR.
I'll need to have a riding cart once I disembark at LaGuardia Airport. I recently had surgery and would be unable to walk a long distance to the luggage carrier. How can I arrange this?
Long time parking facility for airport travellers is provided at a distance of 0.3 miles from the terminals @ $ 22.65 per day, i.e. 24 hrs at Aloft and Ibis hotels.
Did it 2 me also. Go into the settings and make sure there isn't another email adress there. They had my Amazon emails going to the trash and I didn't see it.

Amélie Nicole | Sep 20, 2019

It's smaller. You can basically walk from one section to the next.
JFK is about 10 miles from LaGuardia Airport. There is an official airport bus service, ''NYCGolden Touch Transportation". For $17, you can board the "Airporter" from all terminals at both LaGuardia to and from JFK. Travel time is about 1 hr, but NYC traffic can be hectic, so allow for some extra travel time between flights. it can cost more than $45 with a private car service or taxi between both airports.

Kathleen Rivers | Sep 20, 2019
William Hyer | Sep 20, 2019
The bus "station" is called The Port Authority and it is in Manhattan. There are other bus lines there in Queens which run many different routes. You need to know where you are going before asking advice how to leave from where you are. Does that make sense? Amended answer: There are a number of buses from LGA which connect to subway trains and the Long Island Railroad, which in turn take you anywhere except Staten Island.

About an hour, you must b there one hour to safely say. Only because security lines for morning flights can be long. I did get there 30 mins before once because of traffic delay and I made it just fine but I wouldn't chance it.
You can reserve a shuttle to get there. There are several companies on line that will provide those services or you can call the Hotel and see if they have a shuttle service that can pick you up

Explain "Bath"... Do you mean how far is LGA from Manhattan? About 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on type of travel service used ranging from Car Services, Subways and Buses. Also traffic delays and ongoing construction detours and road closures.
For national flights be there at least 3 hours earlier because TSA staff is working with a skeleton crew due to personnel "calling in sick" in response to ongoing government shutdown and also because of ongoing airport construction which may have you running to another terminal instead of the one in your flight itinerary. Make sure to check in luggage at individual kiosks and / or customer service desks and to print out your boarding passes at home 24 hours prior to flight or at terminal if not able to use phone scan bar and / or printouts. Have a safe flight.
Take M60 from 125th Street, Harlem or Astoria, Queens. Take Q72 from 63rd Drive MTA train station at Rego Park, Queens (Local M, R lines). Visit MTA.INFO for more information, maps, schedules and trip planners.
You can either take the Q70 SBS or even the M60 SBS both of which will take you to a subway station that you will need to take to 5th. I would take Uber or Lyft Car Services, its faster and you can book then on your phone
They tell ypu at the airport only take Authorized taxis at the taxi stand and there are signs that say that also. There is a message the plays in the airport over the loud speaker that says only take Authorized Taxis.... You should of paid slower attention.

LaGuardia has a distance limit, so flights further then Denver fly to either JFK or Newark.
I land 2 hours before my family and although I want to leave the airport, I don't want to go very far. Where can I go that's a 10 minute uber ride away that is worth checking out?

If you want to use public transportation, take the M60 Bus to 125th Street & Lexington and transfer to a downtown (4) (5) or (6) Train. However, if you're in a time crunch, a cab is much faster.

I'd like to fly into JFK from Ord (Chicago) on 9/29 afternoon, returning Late on 10/31. The least expensive option is for Laguardia.
I need to get to 211 West 156 Street. Is this even a feasible option.? Its the ONLY time option that offers exactly
Yes - Terminal A is separate from the rest of LGA and has a different exit from the highway. Very nice for people dropping you off or picking up. It's a terrific terminal - not the tumult of the rest of the terminals and, if there are not a lot of JetBlue flights scheduled, pretty spacious. Of course, with Covid, you still need to distance from other people so it's easier here. One more thing: the entrance is so beautiful - the original 1930's World's Fair architecture. Lots of history here. Was once the Marine Air Terminal and then Eastern Airlnes Terminal. Highly recommend flying from here - if you're going JetBlue from NYC, go LAG not JFK if you can.
We have a flight to JFK and then we must get to
LaGuardia airport for a connecting flight to Buffalo. Is there a shuttle bus to transport us from JFK to LaGuardia

Of course. So many transportation options at the airport in addition to the old yellow taxis that so used to dominate the transportation options at the airport.

Natalia Valencia Teja | Sep 20, 2018
D C | Sep 20, 2019
LaGuardia is a much smaller airport with limited international flights to certain provinces in Canada. JFK is the main airport in NYC, where most international and longer haul domestic flights fly into. Location wise, both airports are in Queens, but LaGuardia is much closer to Manhattan than JFK.
How far from the airport to Time Square and best way to get there for 6 people?
karen brokens | Sep 20, 2018
Gregory West | Sep 20, 2018
Times square is about 30-45 minutes from the airport depending on traffic and time of day. Your best way to get there with that many is by public transportation by the M70 and the E train.

is there any bus line in town (NY) that goes till the Airport? Uber and lyft can be very expensive sometimes

Take the E train to Roosevelt (Queens) and then take the Q70 bus. About an hour trip
I am in Jersey City as well. Totally depends how you are going. JFK by uber that early is fast. By public transit LGA is closer. JFK on subway is like 90 min trip. LGA is like an hour. My new trick is getting a Supershuttle from Manhattan (I just put in a hotel pickup address) because they don't go to Jersey City.

At that time, I would take a cab. However, using public transportation, you can take the M60 Bus to 125th Street & Frederick Douglas Boulevard and transfer to the (A) Train.
how far is the distance from la Guardia airport to Allentown
I have a connecting flight in LGA. I will have 40 minutes to make it from terminal C to D with 3 small children. Is this feasible using the bus system? Or is there another way to get around?
Bradley | Sep 20, 2018
Michele | Sep 20, 2018
I would call your connecting flight airline and ask them directly. C is right next to D but I don't think it will hurt for you to give the airline a heads up
It's Best to plan ahead.. Check you're connected flights so that you don't spend hours waiting.. The airport is under construction in some areas..Book you're flights 2 hours apart if possible.
can we walk to penn station to go to Edison in Newark? Please advise. Thanks,
New Jersey | Sep 20, 2018
JUSTIN SCANLON | Sep 20, 2018
Question is ambiguous. However, one cannot walk to Penn Station from LaGuardia. Take either taxi or mass transit to Penn Station in NYC. New Jersey bound trains will depart from the west side of the station (8th Ave. side). From there you can get a local train to Edison which will also pass through Newark station. Use maps to get a good idea of the distances involved. Get tickets at station to avoid extra fee.
TSA does not require children under 18 to present identification when traveling with a companion within the United states. Airlines may have their own requirements for identifying minors so you should check with the airline that you're using
It need if your like 2 hour before just so you had times to check in and etc...
It depends.. but if your flight is suppose to be at 12AM I would be at the airport by 9 or 10.

I am not sure what the hours are it may stop at 9pm.....he should call a taxi to get him to JFK
With the constriction right now they recommend you arrive at the airport 3 hours before departure. If you have to leave security then it will be cutting it close.
Tough one.. I know you dont want to overly dress but at the same time you want to not have a sloppy appearance either. If I was you, id probably either nice jeans and a nice dress shirt or dress pants and dress shirt. Nothing to overboard. But again thats my opinion. I can understand why you were asking about this one. Hopefully some other people will answer as well with their opinions on this. Goodluck!! Hope you get it!
A taxi should cost maybe $35 to $50 (and 15%-20% tips are customary on top of fare). But you could also take the bus - take the M60 Select Bus Service from LGA and then the N subway from Astoria or the 2/3 subway from 125th. Subway/bus is maybe $5 total. (Yareny's experience is atypical, I don't know how you'd get to $85 in a yellow/green taxi.)
Hello my question is the airport is open 24 hours I need to take my flight at 6 am I will arrive 11 pm the previous day I can enter the airport or I should wait outside. Thanks
I am flying in to LGA from Tokyo & must go through customs & catch a connecting flight to TN. Will I have to go out to the baggage area, retrieve my luggage, go through customs, & then re-enter through security? I only have 2 hrs until my connectin

Doubt you are arriving directly from Tokyo thru LGA...
There is one that seems to be highly rated called "Aloft New York LaGuardia" which is 0.3 miles away. There is also a Courtyard by Marriott nearby as well. Most hotels in the area are right off of Ditmars Blvd.

Depending on which terminals you're walking with between, Maybe but I would think no especially with all the construction. You can catch a free shuttle bus.
How do you get to jfk airport from LaGuardia
Milton Bell | Sep 20, 2018
Jessy Jones | Sep 20, 2018
There are actually a few shuttles that go between the two airports at a set price.
Look on the airports websites for details prices and times
It will be a long trek but it is doable with both bus and train. You may take the Q70 bus to Jackson Heights and take the E train to its last stop at World Trade Center. There you can transfer to the PATH train which will take you to Jersey City. The whole trip should take anywhere between 60 to 75 mins.
If you needed to go straight to Times Square the easiest public transit route is: M60-SBS express bus (signs in the airport should lead you there) to Astoria Blvd, then get on the N or W train from there to the 42nd Street/Times Square train station (roughly 45 minutes). You could take a cab instead of the M60 to save some time but it'd cost more (guessing $8-10).
Can you check in early and stay at the airport overnight?
Alan Highe | Sep 20, 2018
Daniel Bohorquez | Sep 20, 2018
You can usually check in for flights 24 hours ahead, however I doubt they would take your checked bags until a few hours before the flight. As to spending the night, I've seen people sleeping on the floor, although I'm not sure I would recommend it.
American airlines terminal is B and C. If you fly to Charlotte you will fly from terminal C however if you fly to Washington DC then you will fly from terminal B.
