I've twice offered this man my Electrolux for service. Admittedly, the work I paid him for; $50 - after rejecting his $100 demand, was a bargain - and I went back prepared to offer at least $65 except; like the first time - three years ago, his "fast-talking" style occurred to me as sleazy. Three years ago, I made certain to establish an estimate - in advance - had to be given before any work was performed except; the first $ amount I was told; "It's going to be $100" - was - AFTER he had completed the work. His sleazy style - in reality was: obligating my agreement to and coming up with the $100. I objected, insisting we had agreed an estimate - in advance - would be given. I offered $50 cash and - as you'll read following, he'd rather take the $50 and be done with it than discuss the matter any further. Today, I brought the Upright in - since he insisted yesterday, he'd have to look at it before quoting me a price and - while he did clearly state there's be a $40 charge to estimate the the work - waived (or incorporated into the cost) - if I accepted the estimate. Presenting the machine on those terms this afternoon, he demanded $40 up front - a stipulation that (coincidentally or suspiciously) yesterday, went unspoken. The 'sleazy' impression I had embedded from our earlier collaboration became reanimated amd frankly, I didn't trust him. I sold Electrolux and I could imagine the burden inspecting the machine - in order to assess the time-burden he'd be confronted with to get it working - that estimating, and then - closing the unit back up - would entail and I took away from the two contacts with him that the estimate would be "fair value" plus $40 to cover him to perform the estimate that I would have expected to be incorporated... The Guy is (108 & Broadway) in a geographical location with too little alternatives a consumer can access to offer their work to - and this guy occurs to me to be a man who knows when he's got you by the short hairs and like a poker player with the strongest hand, who "makes his opponents pay" - TREATS THE CUSTOMERS LIKE WE WORK FOR HIM. In closing, my "experience" - my 'natural knowing' about human beings - gives me the impression he holds people in low regard. As a person who holds others with disdain. He's impatient, lacks any semblance of generosity so far as interest in another person's 'story' or only mildly-related concerns. Like a Doctor - which he is (of appliance repair) - with horrible bedside-manner. There's other competent service providers that actually love and appreciate the customers - whose dollars keep their lights on and food on the table. Take your business to one of them. Good Luck.

We can usually fix those machines. We would, of course, have to see it.
I am afraid that we do not. We do not buy any items. We do allow our customers trade-ins toward items that they are purchasing i.e. a new vacuum or sewing machine.
Yes. Depends on the condition of the machine. We would need to see it.

Yes...we repair robotic vacuums.
We do not sell online
We have not done many of the Bissell floor machines yet because they are a relatively new product, but I am sure we can figure it out or get the service manual. We have fixed other Bissell products for years.
Unfortunately, we only sell and service the Miele vacuums.
We repair Dyson every day but we do not fix them in the home. They are way to messy to work on.
