We got there and hour early during Christmas coming from Brooklyn at 5 am. Arrive early because the terminal has more to offer now. TSA was attentive, moved quickly. The terminal has Restaurants, many souvenir vendors, open, bright. I'm Waiting for the bridge to help lower congestion. Parking, etc. Traffic was less congested. Once they get the signs, exits, traffic lights and ramps correctly timed and helpful to the drivers and customers... LaGuardia Airport will be worth the aggravation over the years.

If you have pre-check, you can make it in less than 60 minutes if you're traveling at the right time. 90 minutes is generally okay for domestic travel, but if you're traveling at a busy time the. 2 hours is a safe minimum. If you're flying internationally then stick with a minimum of 3 hours. Plan accordingly for traffic, it's better to arrive much earlier than you need than to be sitting in traffic unable to make your flight. Always check Waze and talk to local folks about what's going on with the construction that week.
