There aren't many at all as the National Harbor is about 41 miles away and a 52 minute ride. The best option and most convenient would be to rent a car for a day from the airport. If you mean inside the airport, honestly not much, however there are some really nice seating areas by the terminals that have large windows and rocking chairs for naps or if you just want to see some of the planes. There are some small bar type restaurants that have tvs and drinks and nice sit-down restaurants. Outside of what might typically be in an airport there's not much to see per se

When you check in for your flight online they will send you your boarding pass via email as long as you have the actual boarding pass on your phone they will accept that. However if you don't check in before you arrive at the airport you can print out your boarding pass there.

People fly with animals on flights. So they will take their animals with them to pickup their luggage. Check with airline to see what size and types of dogs are allowed on their flight s. Some animals have to be shipped and some are allowed in the airport.

The holiday starts with Thanksgiving. It continues into December with college students taking Winter Break plus Christmas vacations. It ends 1 or 2 weeks after New Year's.

Before going through security they have an observation deck with climbing things for kids. My girls like going there just to play and see the planes. They also have a free places outside security to eat (Dunkin, Pie Five, etc). So, it can be fun for one to two hours for little kids.

There is parking at the airport from $5 a day up to $24 a day. You don't need to get a room at the airport if you're only parking your vehicle. You should probably check online for off-site parking like Fast Park or Park and Fly or you can use BWI version of the off-site park lot. Light rail takes you into the terminal. It's just a couple blocks from ummc, or you can take the free circulator from the hospital to the light rail. Circulator stops on Baltimore and Greene in the North side of the hospital and Lombard and Greene in the Southside.

The Hyatt Recency is about 10 miles north of BWI. Leave the airport on I-195 west and take 295 north towards Baltimore. Proceed all the way into the city (becomes Russell St.). Take a right on Pratt St. and then a right on Light St.

You would need to rent a car or take an Uber. It's 4 hours by train. It's a pretty long drive. I'd get a direct flight.
