After the published date, you will have a problem as Missouri never complied and still have the old-style driver licences. So until that is fixed, you will need to get a passport or some other form of approved ID. Most people just get passports - so you need to apply now as it can take a few weeks or so. You might talk to your state Representative to find out why Missouri never complied - might be a good reason
