Get to the airport 2 hours before the flight. Flying is easy. There will be information desks to help you. Check in online a day in advance and you'll be fine.
Bring headphones & hand sanitizer, be nice to your flight attendants, don't look like a towel head.
If you bought online you understand how that works. You can speed things up by confirming online and getting your boarding pass. You can do that within 24 hours of your flight.
Make sure to give yourself 2 hours before flight...BWI is not a small place. Ensure you have your reservation confirmation number (6 alphanumerics) and photo ID. Find your airline's terminal and get in line to drop bags if you need to, else head to security. Signage and workers can direct. And layovers are as easy as disembarking, finding the nearest departure board, finding your next flight, then getting to the gate and waiting to fly.
