We are flying in on commuter (Bouitique).How far is where we land and the Southwest terminal? also do we go through security at BWI if we already went through security at our home airport?

Southwest is located at the entrance road to the terminal. Your airline will be within a couple hundred yards of that at the most. If you look outside you'll see areas marked by number.
