It is probably one of the few venues in the world with a breathtaking sunset. Can be hot as hell during the day making camping more than less comfortable than it already is, but it's a trade off I'm willing to make. General Store near Gold Camping has weird hours and there had been security issues with Gold Camping where personal belongings were getting stolen while festival goers were attending the festival. Still a beautiful place to attend a multi day festival.

What can I say about this place that people don't already know?! What an amazing venue to have events at. My group came out to Above and Beyond Group therapy weekender and it was epic! We were in an RV do we did have quite a walk to get into the venue but there were different levels of parking distance. but once inside the scenery is just amazing! and the sound quality is fantastic. I don't know if I've ever been to another outside venue with such great sound quality. the bathrooms never got disgusting from what I saw. Some of the vendors were very nice and sprayed people with water as we walked by. it was 100 degrees out so it was appreciated. Every angle was a great view due to the shape of the amphitheater. The scenery behind the stage is breathtaking. It really was an amazing and epic weekend full of great music and lovely people!

Incredible venue! It's my home away from home. Prepare to hike though as it's a long walk from camping to the venue entrance alone then you have to walk more to get to the main stage. Lots of steep hills and inclines very hard on your legs and back but totally worth the experience. Life changing views, once you go once you'll be hooked and have to go back! ❤️

First time there not impressed The worst parking ever 2 hours+ need more staff working in the parking lots. a lot of mad people Need more screen 2 isn't enough they need to be bigger People bring in blanket and chairs then stand some people can't stand to see the show Should have a smoking area a lot of people don't want to smell it all night. or have it in there face Should have paths on the grass people all over the place, lost, stepping on people things, the view was the best

Bring there tix with and take two spots
Lawn for sure. Great views and lots of room too. Best place to dance at Dead & Company.
Cave B is the wedding spot adjacent to the Gorge Amphitheatre
While they supposedly don't allow campers in standard camping, there are always busses there that are much larger. I think you'd be fine as long as it's not a trailer.
If im not mistaken, all children need a ticket. You may want to check the website for the specific show info, it may different depending on who is playing
I don't think there's a difference for that purpose, I've heard 4 hours after the event ends they worry about towing. I can confirm leaving my car 2.5 hours after a one night show ended and nothing happened.
There were people who brought children to Kings of Leon. Is Dave Matthews a day or night concert? I would bring hearing protection for sure. There is a lot of walking, so bring the stroller for when their legs wear out.
All tickets have the same entry times and as the Gate times are subject to change keep checking live nations site for your show to get up to date info on your shows gate times all parking is free camp grounds are extra hope this helps
Open your ears. Listen for the hiss. Demand 3/10.
Nope, i stayed at hotels i just paid for the shuttle, to get to and from my hotel to paradiso
Cameras are generally allowed at least phones and Dead shows kind of depends on artist I think. Parking is free but their are paid premium parking areas.
Check for each event, it varies. Usually vax or negative test.
No it's not open it's. A private facility with many issues with public safety and liability. I'm the risk and safety manager. My number is 5092930563. Text or call and we can talk maybe I can help
How cheap are we talking? If you need free you can camp down by The Feathers rock climbing formation 1/2 way down Frenchman Coulee or really anywhere you find a good spot in the coulee. Fun fact, Frenchman Coulee was formed in the great pre historic Lake Missoula flood when a giant icedam that had blocked the Clark Fork river creating the giant Lake Missoula broke releasing almost unimaginable amounts of water racing across and forming what is now known as the Channelled Scablands, the Dry Falls, the giant Potholes, and Frenchman Coule! I digress. It's def not walking distance to the venue but it is maybe a 5min drive. When you get off I90 at Silica Rd (Gorge exit) you go left under the freeway and take the first left immediately after you cross under the freeway. If you are coming from the venue on Silica Rd it is the last right turn you can take before the i90 west onramp. There are also great spots if you follow the road all the way down Frenchman's right on the river. Enjoy!
I was just there for dead and company, I never showed id
Everyone staying there should have Brackets so they will let you in with the big rig bracket and if the car can fit on your spot within your space you can have multiple rigs there
There is no overnight parking. There is several huge campgrounds but regardless. If you choose to sleep in your car. Anywhere on site you will be charged or towed
Yes you can come and go from the camp ground with a pass. And there is hookups at the big rig camp sites. But not in general camping
Yes GA camping is always open from the day before to the day after and you can arrive anytime.
I don't believe there is ADA specific camping but there is a hut onsite where you and your husband can receive disability wristbands. There's a shuttle that runs to and from camping area to the venue. Hope this helps!
General parking will be towed overnight. The ~$120 price for GA camping in basically a "park your car here all weekend fee and by the way you can have a tent and sleep there too" kind of deal.
The event listing on the website should mention when the campgrounds open and close.
There's a few different camping sites and hotels only 15 minutes away
Your camping pass is good for you anytime during the weekend. You just drive up to the gate and the show you to the next available spot.
Yes, but it has to be the really low to the ground kind👍🏽 and they rent them tjere to😀
Strollers are not permitted
Oasis camp ground
Yes
I work at the amphitheatre and have heard no concerns of closing cor the event :) if I get a status update otherwise...I will be sure to post here and on other forms of media associated with the show about any changes!
Way to hot for dogs, get a pet sitter and leave them home!
Yes. They search bags pretty thoroughly though, at least at paradiso
The VIP lot is more accessible than the GA lot. It will have a shuttle that runs to an accessible entrance closer to the stage
Yes! They will give you the wristbands. Just make sure they are bougt and payed for. meet your friends down by guest services and put the wristbands on before entering premier.
Generally, yes, but it can be pretty windy down there so make sure you are able to lay them flat if you need to walk away from them for a minute. Also, expect them to be searched heavily.
general parking is free
Yes
Food but not alcohol To The Venue. To the campground you can bring both
They allow food and one bottle of water
Beer, wine, frozen Margaritas, and there is also Hard Alcohol Gardens no drinks can leave those areas
Thank you so much! I am going to the five finger death Punch concert!
The staff at abgt was so inbred I don't think you'll even get a reply, go get a new key dude,.forget about it
Anything that isn't ridiculous. Water bottles, chairs blankets and the like. If you plan to bring in a hot-dog cart or personal hovercraft think otherwise.
The Gorge is owned by Live Nation. Every ticket goes through them one way or another. Tickets not sold through LN (or by Ticketbastard) are being sold on secondary market (and came from LN/TM). Tickets sold at gate are LN/TM.
Clear bags will be permitted with external visual inspection. Regular bags (backpacks purses, etc) will be inspected by searching thoroughly and taking items out.
Shree's .... yes
It is one ticket per vehicle. And if you want to be camping together you need to follow each other into the campground because they put you in single file.
We have handicap accessible places all over the Gorge, there are very limited restrictions. There are hills though leading down to the main stage area & some parts in the venue. For more information please refer to the Amphitheater website for complete details.
The gorge amphitheater has its own campground in like five different levels of camping depending on what you're looking for. GA is the cheapest, but we go up there every Labor Day weekend and camp in Premiere. That at least gets you access to running water and showers. Everybody gets to use a porta-potty though. Everything on site is walkable. Depending on the show, there's usually a bunch of vendors and cool stuff on the on-site camping that you won't get anywhere else. Wildhorse is another option that's close by. It's small and pretty plush and has good amenities I hear. They also have a bus that will ferry you to and from the venue, it's less than 5 minutes away. But you will have to take a shuttle. Third option is the campground at vantage. It's pretty nice and right on the Columbia River, but it's like a 20 minute drive from the venue. It's probably cheap, but you still have to get a parking pass and drive back and forth everyday. There's also dispersed camping at Quincy Lakes.
Yeah they're folding chairs. You'd have to check for your particular show, but if they're selling them, they'll be there. For some shows and festivals they remove them. The main header picture on the Gorge amphitheater Google maps actually shows them really well.
Brent Sanders answer is inappropriate for the given situation in the nation. The test 2 weeks ago for Bass Canyon was done on site for $30 at the event. Also you can to go on your local health districts website to find vaccine and testing locations for free or a low cost.
Yes and so is everywhere else so just get vaccinated your doctor recommends it
I saw a pretty loose criteria going on at the gates I think it depends on if it is no problem for them to inspect doesn't take up so much room that it encroaches on other people's space and is not dangerous or contraband you can probably get away with it.
48hrs prior to first day entry
Check who your tickets are through if it is FGT contact them instead of the amphitheater directly.
Depends on the show, but try 4 hours before door time
Honestly depends on who does your security check. There is conflicting info all over the place. Nothing on the site mentions clear bags, says soft sided coolers, but mentioned when you get the reminder email about your event. I had to swap a grocery bag with 2 items in it for a clear poly bag, yet I saw backpacks and regular coolers everywhere. So who knows about wagons.
No testing required.
The show will always go on...the main trick to defeating the excruciating heat is to make sure you stay very hydrated. Try to stay wet as much as possible. Drink a ton of water and Gatorade. Try to keep a soaked towel nearby if possible.
Yes you can peopel buy and sell theres all the time
No, it's closed to the public. You can still go to the winery and Frenchman's Coulee, but not the amphitheater.
I'd check their website and contact the organizer.
Yes on both accounts. Low chairs only. If you don't want to carry them in, they do rent them as well.
Yes, as already stated. Very expensive though. A lot of the better vendors are back behind the grass seats
Depends on the venue.
Depends on the show, if it were me i'ld go ahead and get your camping pass and if you don't end up using it sell it. I've done this a few times when I upgraded my camping pass or people backed out last minute.
Go to the gorge ampitheater website, I believe it has a camping option
Well day parking, ada, big rig, and terrace have a seperate entrance per se. Though from plaza the route takes you past the box office. Plus there are hundreds of employees that can give you directions. Literally everywhere.
Google gorge ampitheater and there are numbers listed there as well as email addresses. Beyond that I'm not sure
No they are usually separate. There are several different sections to camp that cost different amts and each have different amenities.
Definitely call and ask the venue
They have hydro stations inside to refill your empty bottle
Empty water bottle or a sealed bottle of water only
I've gotten there as late as midnight and there was no problem
The Gorge always opens the day prior to the first night of music. If the concert starts on Friday, you will be able to enter the venue on Thursday afternoon. You will also be permitted to stay over night on the last night of music. So, if Sunday is the last day of music, you can camp until Monday morning.
I believe the policy is one vehicle or vehicle&trailer combo per spot. If the car will be there overnight she'll have to buy her own camping pass, day parking passes will not suffice.
They have pay showers.
There is a general parking section that is covered with your ticket.
I showed up on the 2nd day of a 3 day gig and got in and to a campsite just fine.
It is for all three nights it can be answered by anyone with direct knowledge. The website as well as the ticket notes when campground opens and closes and how many nights the pass is good for. It also notes any camping upgrades such as premier camping Oasis camping etc
The earlier the better.
Greyhound used to stop in Vantage, but that's still 30-40 mins away. Not sure if there's a specific bus to the venue.
1 hour early
Not that I know of??! Next weekend is Beck and Cage..
One car per. Buy 2 campsites for, 2nd car they don't give you alot of room
I would not think so. I brought in my bag of pills and meds.
Yes the Gorge amphitheater website has the exact dimensions! The two pack of camping/ concert chairs sold through Costco are what we used for the Gorge last month
o
I don't remember seeing any when I was at Sasquatch and Paradiso. Depending on the show/ festival you're going to they may have info about that. The festivals I went to also had RV camping that may be more relaxed about tow cars.
I believe they have large space for these situations
If you pay for two spaces. Premier camping is wider spaces.
There isnt any legal place to park overnight
No, there is not. You'll have to buy another camping pass.
Check out the campground Wildhorse. You can park rvs there and it's a great place.
Yes
Meet on the path at the top of the lawn. Easiest spot is either pick a specific food truck (decide when you get there which one) or at the point you exit the main path to get to the lawn (it's a steepish slope you'll be at the top of for that latter place)
Yes. Hours listed like noonish
Don't know now. There wasn't any a month ago when we were there
Yes I'm flying to sea tac, coming from Canada so there aren't really a lot of good/cheap options other than major airport. Looks like renting a car and finding parking will be the way to go then! I haven't been able to get a hold of them to figure out parking options sadly
It's open seating but they dont provide chairs, you can rent them though!
Depends on the event
There is a seating section, special parking, and ADA spots for wheelchairs
Children under the age of 2 are free in general admission seating. Adults and children must have a ticket for reserved seating.
Usually 1-2 hours after the last note of the concert.
Event ticket is that night only. Camping is weekend pass, most likely, depending on where you camp. Where are you camping?
People are already lined up to be on rail...
1 per car up to 6 people
Standard Camping passes are always available at the gate. I don't think they have ever sold out standard camping.
The camping passes work for whoever you can fit in your car. The best way is to just buy all your tickets at once, but you can buy a camping pass after you get the concert tickets if you want. Keep in mind the camping spots are tiny, and if you get multiple passes with multiple cars and you want to be next to each other, you HAVE TO enter the venue together. The premium camping spots are twice as big, and typically it's a quieter area at night. I've camped at both regular and premium, and I slept maybe 2 hours a night at the regular spot because people partied basically from 7am-3am every night. I was at a festival with a lot of young people though.
Not sure actually
Depends on the show but typically less than $50.
Walk! Lol
Wenatchee 38 miles...yakima 75 miles ...tri cities 99 miles... Spokane 128 miles ... Walla walla 146 miles.... SeaTac 154 miles
Yes you can buy them on a different date.
No, but you can probably take a taxi from Quincy, or hitch a ride from a fellow concert goer.
Go to the gorge website
Parking up close to the check in gate for the venue and exit when you are ready to leave.
Club seating for every concert at the gorge.
Yes
I would think it would depend on the size. Parking is far but you can also park in RV lot its closest to the door.
Outdoor blankets are definitely the way to go and especially bc it's such a haul to get to actual venue!
You only need camping passes per vehicle not per person. If you are riding in the same vehicle as them, there is no need to purchase extra camping unless their RV is large.
You're in the chair section, not lawn. Folding chairs to be exact. I was in section 202 for Avett Brothers and Head and the Heart; we ended up standing for the whole show anyway because everyone else around us stood up. Rock on.
There is ADA camping available at the Gorge Campground. Easy access to the road. If you are in premier, you should be fine. Where are your tickets? I will warn you, it's quite a steep hike down to the seating area, but Im sure theres golf cart shuttle access available. I recommend going to Guest Services when you arrive to figure out logistics.
I dont know. We didn't see them. Just went straight to the concert and left during when it was dark outside.
There are some reserved parts on the terraces. Any open grass is a great place to put your. From the top down to the path in the middle is all open
All general admission in terms of seating. Pit or lawn, you can sit/stand wherever!
Yes
I recently went to a concert with a friend who uses a wheelchair. We had tickets for the lawn, but we learned (from a kind woman in the parking lot) prior to the show that we could be seated in the ADA section which was much closer to the action compared to the lawn. We got in the ADA line, waited for the gates to open, and then went to the ADA customer service desk - very close to the entrance. They looked at our general admission tickets, gave us ADA wrist bands, and put us on a shuttle down the hill. Folding chairs were provided for those who needed them. This area was not just reserved for wheelchairs, it was a mix of folks with mobility issues. Those of us with the ADA wristbands were allowed to use a restroom on that level instead of climbing up the hill. At the end of a wonderful concert, the shuttle took us (and the other folks) back up the hill. Expect to wait a bit, but overall it was worth it.
You might get away with it...but no open flames typically.
There is pavement at the top and along side the grassy hill that you could park. The grass area is quite steep so you would have to be somewhat mobile.
Bring the wheelchair...its a short distance to the grass. I'd say about 4 to 500 yards.
The gates open between 3pm and 330pm.
Or try posting on the fan website or FB page of the band you're going to see. Usually someone is looking.
Yes.. They will have to take their pass to the gate and get your wrist band when you get there.
Yes as long as it's in a clear bag
If already in venue. Go to guest services. Any employee can point you in the right direction.
Of course you can.
It's 2:00 and the long lines have started. Be aware.
Depends on if you're camping. If not, then you will most likely not have to pay for day use parking. If you are camping then yes, the boat has to have it's own camp site.
I don't think so
Meet your friends before you come in.
Case by case basis..you are better off trying to get it before the show.
Contact live nation
You can bring low profile chairs and blankets, but no umbrellas. We were allowed to bring in a gallon size ziplock bag for each person filled with food each day and am empty water bottle in a six pack size cooler. Hope this helps.
The weekend long event i attended at the Gorge used wristbands that were not transferrable.
If you can get Terrace Camping do it. It's worth every penny, and perfect for your situation.
Get there early and make as big a camp as you want.
Some places don't accept it tho so i wanna be 100% sure
Might to look up website, general might be your best bet.
Passport should be fine
Every time I've camped at the gorge we leave during the day to swim in the river. Pick up should be easy right outside the campground entrance. The actual amphitheatre does have a no re- entry policy during concerts.
Box seats are located behind the reserved section. They are elevated above this section by about 6' so you will have a clean sight line for the show. They are also about the same distance from the stage as the sound booth. Live Nation changed policies this year, so VIP box may or may not include access to the Cliff House area. It would be best to ask the ticket seller to find out
Yup. There's a terraced section just above the floor before the lawn. I've also seen a front of floor area for the hearing impaired with live signing at some shows. Not sure how to get tix for those areas, probably best to check the Gorge web site. Or, Tix sites for specific shows.
Only if you are in Premier or Gold camping. No shuttle for standard camping at the gorge.
Any idea the name or location?
Yes you can camp w/o concert tix. Parking is in huge fields and is fairly organized, but takes a long time to get back to I-90, duee to the chaos of people leaving at the same time.
You have to first off all be a vendor and get your license.. ur gonna be a sole proprietorship...
Yes, they do have help there for the disabled.. the parking for ADA is right upfront for you.. now u will have to use your own wheelchair.. they dont have any of them.. Also if you bring a helper with you, that person gets the accommodations right along with you...
I work alcohol compliance here and unfortunately you MUST HAVE Photo I.D.
absolutely. no need to get there early.
No clue, probably nothing. They usually don't start concerts until the summer around May. You can look on their website for a listing of all the acts coming to the area. Just Google search The Gorge Amphitheatre and look for their schedule which should be on the homepage.
Just one
Yes and no... I use unity tavel to book both my hotel and bus shuttle.... But thats only for EDM concerts so it depends on what type of concert it is
Parking is always nuts. There has always been available parking whenever I have been there, and it is free.
If you're going for a festival I think premier is the best value. I've done gold and it's good but you'll have to hike to GA or sneek into premier to hang out with your friends. GA works but your stuff will get stolen.
You just need to see the facilities centre to obtain your punch card and your admission pass. Also Make sure you get your auto booklet for parking receipts. Hope this helps cheers. God bless. Regards
Ditto what William said. It's not cheap but what a great, beautiful place to spend a weekend!
Not sure of an official number, but I've located pictures from 7 years. HTH.
Not sure, never had those marks
Usally 4 comfortably
go to guest services near the entrance. they will upgrade you there.
Last year for the Dead and Company show people rolled in all night long, you should be fine, enjoy your show!
