I am trying to go to an event here with a group of friends, maybe 4-5 people. I want to buy standard camping tickets and I am curious on how many tickets I will need to purches? Is there a limit on how many people can be in one camp spot?

It is one ticket per vehicle. And if you want to be camping together you need to follow each other into the campground because they put you in single file.

No. They will not (normally) hold a spot. $10 per day parking just up street ND consolidate into a single vehicle

No. We tried that. The second group would need their ticket to get in and they would be put in, in order of arrival.

If u all go in together like in an RV or all in 1 car, it's the same price. We had an rv with 3 of us and a friend from Montana who came the second day in his own car and we paid the flat 180 for 2 days of camping for the 4 of us.

Rhiannon is correct. The people that were in a row behind us were able to hold a spot for their friends, but I don't know how often they do that. My daughter and I were told it's just safer for everybody to come at once if you want to Camp next to each other

So what if I a couple of my friends will be arriving on the second day? Can they still hold a spot for them?
