How do camping passes work? Do I have to buy tickets for the concert itself and then buy camping passes separately? Is it a camping pass for each person or for a group?

The camping passes work for whoever you can fit in your car. The best way is to just buy all your tickets at once, but you can buy a camping pass after you get the concert tickets if you want. Keep in mind the camping spots are tiny, and if you get multiple passes with multiple cars and you want to be next to each other, you HAVE TO enter the venue together. The premium camping spots are twice as big, and typically it's a quieter area at night. I've camped at both regular and premium, and I slept maybe 2 hours a night at the regular spot because people partied basically from 7am-3am every night. I was at a festival with a lot of young people though.

Generally one pass covers one car. Only one person in the car really needs to have a ticket for the venue although I've never had anyone ask for anything other than the camping pass.

www.gorgecamping.com see FAQs You can buy camping without a ticket but the rules are you have to have a ticket to camp. The camping pass is for you carload.

Depending on what show it is, for example; watershed and other multi-day events usually require you to purchase a separate camping pass. Everyone in your car is covered by the 1 pass. Each additional car will require a pass.
