I am supposed to attend a concert on Saturday and the temperature will likely be around 106 degrees in the shade, and there is no shade. This is a dangerous heat level to remain in for hours. How hot does it get before concerts are cancelled?

The show will always go on...the main trick to defeating the excruciating heat is to make sure you stay very hydrated. Try to stay wet as much as possible. Drink a ton of water and Gatorade. Try to keep a soaked towel nearby if possible.

They do have hydration stations, but I've never heard of them canceling.

Ive never heard of it being canceled for heat watershed got that hot and the show went on still

The show won't get canceled due to heat, only wind and lightning. Take plenty of water and hydro as the price at the venue can be a bit steep. They usually have a few cooling stations with misters, but it will be quite hot. Events such as "Watershed" have a VIP structure where for a price you get guaranteed shade and food and drinks delivered to your seat on the VIP deck.

You get wet and drink lots of water and sports drinks along with the alcohol.
