Easy to locate, Administration and processing of passport is okay. Please know requirements before you go and please be sure to schedule an appointment before you go wait in line. Thanks they were all very helpful in processing my application
benedicta igwebike
I paid online for a renewal since dec 2020. I received an email stating that my appointment date will be communicated via email. I am yet to get an appointment date. No one is answering my calls. Please what is the next step. 08.22.22 I have come back to update my review. Today i am giving the Nigerian Embassy Atlanta a FIVE STAR following the one star review I previously left. Today for the first time in a long time, I felt like things can actually be better for Nigerians. I arrived at the embassy VERY early, which in my own opinion, was not necessary. The embassy opens at 9.am and nothing happens before then. As long as you have all the valid documents as well as your appointment confirmation letter, and administrative fee, you will be perfectly fine. If you don't have an appointment, hmmm, Please STAY AT HOME because you are on your own. The staff were very polite and courteous. I hope this continues as well extend to other Nigerian parastatals both home and abroad. Great experience 10.05.2022 I was informed that the passport will be delivered by the 19th of sept 2022. I am yet to get it as of today. Please what's the next step? 10.10.2022. Update. Passport received. Passport is pretty too.

My passport showed up about a month before the expected date.

This is honestly the most unprofessional and disorganized establishment I have ever come across. Arrived at the consulate 2 hours prior to my appointment time of 12 pm. Was asked to pay $20 parking fee to park in the lot attached to the building providing said services, without a receipt. When I asked for it I was told that’s how it’s being done. I graciously accepted and moved on. Fast forward to going into the consulate, the security personnel was no where to be found and the gate closed. Waited for a little bit and then finally was let into the premise. Met an amazing staff and she was truly helpful and then my troubles began. Was asked to go sit in the overflow ( outside) under a canopy with a temperature of 95 degree, and wait to be called. I asked about an estimated wait time and she said 2 -3 hours, even though my appointment was for 12pm. Somehow others were getting called in despite having different appointment times and when asked the staff would tell us to wait since everyone will eventually be called. After waiting for what seemed like forever outside, I was finally called in at about 2.30pm and was still asked to sit and wait while they attended to what seem to be a high profile/paying family who were called in after myself and kiddo. I hope they make changes which will lessen the frustration people have to go through whilst needing services with them. The office where the NIN is being registered, had staff playing super loud music with a boom box, and no sense of urgency. Having more than 15 people queue up and then staff are having casual conversation is just wrong. This is not to say the entire staff is rude and have terrible work ethics, it is just a characteristic most portray and that needs to be improved upon. Hope the consul general or ambassador attached to the USA makes some changes to better services and experiences.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
The best you could do is to go there in person. Just be there very early so that they can attend to you properly. It is important. It saves your time and gives you rest of mind. I'm talking from experience; so, if it worked for me, it will work for you too.
My mom was in the same position, and my understanding is that you cannot receive a passport unless you become a citizen. However, they may require you to give up your American citizenship first (not sure if that is still procedure) the second option is to get your permanent resident card as a Naija wife who should allow you to travel freely. Still, with that, you may need to live in Nigeria. My suggestion would be to talk to Nigerian immigration on your next visit for the most updated information.
The visa is for 30 days and the usual wait is about 2 or 3 weeks
It takes an average of 6 months or more. It has to be approved from Abuja before a new one can be issued. Good luck...
You can get it done @ OIS office in Atlanta but you have to book appointment online
If you're in Atlanta, Go to the OIS office for details. They are super helpful.
USPS $65 money order, scanned copy of passport data page, USPS priority shipping envelope, and printout of your flight ticket itinerary (if you have).
You have to submit your forms online and take the required print outs when you walk in
No. Go online to www.oiservices.com they are the govt designated office for Visa application
Hi, Taiwo. Did you go to Atlanta as planned? Would you kindly share your experience with me?. I am planning a trip for first week in July. Thank you
Hi Caro, have you received your passport?
They ain't open for now
THE FEE FOR THE NIGERIAN E(ECOWAS) PASSPORT ARE AS FOLLOWS: 32 pages 64 pages Minor(0 to 17 years old) $77.00 $137.00 Adult (18 to 59 years old) 106.00 $137.00 Senior (60 and above) $77.00 $137.00.
Go to the consulate website at www.nigeria-consulate-atl.org then click on the contact us you will see an email address of the consulate. Send an email for your request. They will respond back. Thank You
Open to students at the moment.
Call the NYC Consulate explain this to them and request a change of location
So sorry. U should have paid more for collecting the same day. If u have American passport, u can use that and get a visa upon arrival in Nigeria. Sounds like that's ur only option now. Good luck.
The application have to be filled out online. Follow the instruction and visit the embassy at ur convenience within 3 months. http://nigeria-consulate-atl.org/passport/
It depend on when you are traveling. If you are not traveling within two month you will be fine. They charge 65 dollar USPS money order for expedite to be received within a week. My appointment was on Oct 16, 2018 and my collection date was Dec 23. So I have to pay the money because I need my passport before then. I hope this helps. You can call innovate to change your appointment date if is possible.
Can I my passport in 2 days if a paid the extra $65
It's very possible so long you have all required documentations.
Yes you can apply for new passport first with your new last name. Then renew your Visa showing your new name. But when applying for new passport you must send your old passport to them. They then will punch a hole in the old one and return the new passport along with the old one. I had to do that after returning from Nigeria after my marriage to my husband who is Nigerian.
Yes. U have to apply online and mail in all your information. Good luck...
Consulate in atlanta is closed on September 11, and 12. The governor gave this order following the threat from hurricane. All offices are closed for these two days. See the notice on the consulate website.
Sorry, I am not familiar with the tourist visa renewal process. However, check the website for information regarding this. Thank you
You have to make an appointment online after registering and paying
The consulate website lists several locations where you can apply for the NIN. Passport applications submitted after July 1, 2022 require the NIN.
I don't know, but I will ask.
I will advise you go on their website.
If you're around Atlanta, you should go to OIS services on Holbrook road in roswell. They're not far from the embassy and should be able to guide you
On your payment slip or acknowledgement slip you should see a link that says book appointment use that link and it will direct you to the appointment page.
Write him an invitation latter that he can take to the Nigerian immigration office and get a visa to come to the US.
Im not really sure but if I where to guess, I'll say 1 to 3 months. Also, whenever you plan on going to this Consulate in Atlanta, plan on being there as early as 3am and plan on being there all day. Just a heads-up.
Are you Nigerian with a US Passport? If yes, then your Nigeiran Passport plus covid negative test and payment. If you are a US Citizen then a Visa. Go to the consulate website and see the exact requirements.
No . They interview you there .
1. This is to inform the General Public that the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Atlanta, will be closed on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 to observe Eid-el-Maulud. 2. Normal business will resume on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021.
Good morning 🙏🌄AM Morning 🌄
Good afternoon David, Thank you very much for your enquiry. There is nobody by that name at the Consulate. Beware and be careful of vendors Regards.
Find out the Nigeria Consulate that is closest to you and visit the office or get to the website to know the requirements. And I think your husband is better place to approach the Consulate. Nigeria Consulate is in Atlanta, New York city and Washington.
It's close on Wednesdays for normal services.
Mine was mailed to me with the self addressed envelope I submitted. It took about 6 weeks, but every case is different.
Prepare a thousand dollar for this
Yes, just like a renewal passport
Are you Nigerian?
Mr. Babajide I am also an applicant like any other people. I am not an employee at the Consulate. Though I have an answer to your questions. 1. They attend to people on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Except on Nigerian public holidays). 2. You can go there on any of the days mentioned above, but If you have an appointment from them, you only need to go there with a money order of $30, but if you don't have an appointment, please go there with a money order of $130 along with Express mail blue envelope. All the best...
Hello Joe, to be sincere Nigerian Embassies does not have a major requirement other than for those who want to change their name due to their change in Marital status. One advice I can give is to go there in person on the days they attend to people and ask them directly what you need to do. I know you can go to their website and apply for a change of name, but this won't be effective enough because they didn't specify the reason why you want your name change. Unfortunately, they won't pick calls if you call them. So please go in person and sort it out once and for all. I wish you all the best
Yes, but only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
No appointments needed just fill the online application, pay the fees, follow the instructions, and bring all listed documents.
I am not sure! You may call them. I did try to reach the Washington Consulate, but there seemed to be an issue with the number
Unfortunately, there is a charge to walk up to the embassy of $130. There is no parking, and you will be forced to pay a $20 fee to park in the back of another building. You must bring everything you need because they will not provide you with a single document. It is chaotic, but the staff is absolutely amazing and tries very hard to help everyone.
It depends on the line, immediately you get to the end of the line it takes about 5 minutes.
They are not taking phone calls.
Hello I am not from the consulate, just a fellow Google Maps user like you. Foreigners traveling to Nigeria should contact thier own countrys department of state. If you are trying to help someone in Nigeria with medical needs it might be better to try and contact a local hospital in Nigeria to give this person treatment.
You would have to have done certified mail option at the post office. That's all I can think of, because if you call, they're unlikely to answer. Also, when I asked them this same question, they said you just have to wait.
It took me 12 hrs to get my biometric done. 9am to 9pm
Thanks.....do they actually issue passports now?
I believe on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays people can just walk to the gate and pay the $130 fee using a money order to get a walk in appointment. They did not call or email to give us an appointment so we just went on a Tuesday and we were able to wait till they got to us. It took all day though.
You can decide to wait till they give you one (in April) or yes you can walk in especially if you live close by. I just went to get mine done this week so Be ready to be there all day or bring the $130 in money order that's on their website.
If you went to the office and applied and they gave you a confirmation receipt, they should have told you when to expect your passport. Check their website and see if your name is on the list of those whose passports are in the office.
Check the consulate's website for closures. Sometimes they are closed for Nigerian holidays so search the internet for Nigerian holidays. They close on American and Nigerian holidays and Boxing Day which is a British Holiday. If it falls on Saturday or Sunday, you can be sure they are closed on the following Monday. This is what happened on the 28th of Dec 2020. Christmas was on Friday, Boxing day on Saturday, they were closed on Monday the 28th of December 2020.
You can apply for a visa online. Go to the Nigerian embassy website and you should see the visa options and an application procedure.
Get your international passport, get a Visa if you are not a Nigerian and board your flight ticket.
Ensure you take all the documents listed on the website. Most importantly, take a self addressed U.S. Postal Priority Mail Envelope with tracking so they can send the passport directly to your mailing address. Get there as early as possible to get in line and take tons of patience. The line is outside so dress appropriately.
You can go for the emergency travel certificate if you don't get your passport on time. Look up for the price online.
Hmm.. Good luck with that bro. That embassy is a monumental hot mess right now.
There are no available dates for anytime soon on the website to get an appointment. Can you just walk in after paying if you’re a student ?
Not officially opened to the public yet. But you can call the office often to find out when they will be opened to the public
I was there last week Wednesday. The security man said you have to keep checking their official website to know when they open. Also, innovate will send you an email about your new appointment date. That's naija for you.
They are not working yet,but if u have anything to do there, aside renewal of passport,u might have a chance...
No not yet
Those guys don't pick up calls. If you really need to a response from them, you have to physically go to the office in Atlanta, Georgia like I did. It does not make sense, right? Unfortunately, that is the only option if you want an answer to your calls.
They don't pick calls and their voice message box will always tell you its full.....i suggest you just wait till its opened.
No they are not open to people.
Around $250
The office isn't open. Went there yesterday and nobody was there. So unprofessional to alert folks
I was there Tuesday, the security officer says to try back June 9th.
They are not open yet, I was there Tuesday. Try back June 9th.
I heard that booklets are indeed are not available at this time. The corona matter ciuld even delay things.
Email them.
Yes. You need a self addressed USPS Envelope to have ypur passport sent back to you if you live out of Georgia but if you have made payment, you do not need money order
They don't have it. And they are not sure of when. I got mine after a month
U have to apply online and the interview takes place in another facility downtown
You can walk in to collect your passport after you must av received a call from the Consulate that it's ready
You will need an invitation letter from your host, hotel reservation and bank statement to show the host is capable of hosting u
Money order is an option for paying for the online aspect of your passport renewal. If you are done with that part of the application as you presume, there will be no requirement for purchasing money order for the outstanding part of the application which involves biometric capture of your data. Hope that answers your question
Send them email
Yes iis the right consulate to apply for infant cannot guarantee you the time frame for the process because we are in holiday season
It's on their website
What's ur status in the US?
It depend on when you start the process and having all the complete and necessary documents
Pls call prestige travel services for all ur travel needs, including visas
Either or USPS is fine
Start off by going online and apply thru the official website (nigeria-consulate-atl.org) read and follow instructions to renew passport, pay online and print out the entire application. After printing look at the PAYMENT SLIP PAGE see interview and it will show you when you are suppose to come for your appointment schedule. NEVER come before your scheduled date coz you wouldn't be processed. Bring the following: printed applications, passport picture, expired passport, photocopy of data page of old passport and be physically present.
It's all online, so anytime. Don't understand your question!
Go to the nearest police station in ur area and report
My advice is for you to go back to the consulate and ask some questions, I can also tell that lost passport is always an issue,it takes about 6months for Abuja to respond to ur authticty of ur lost passport, kindly go back to Nigerian consulate and get some more facts
Only one as Bishop stated.
It's on the website
Wrong question. Ask US consulate in Lagos.
You can send a direct email to the consular general. Or you can visit the processing office where your application was submitted to. That will be the quickest method in getting answers
Did you leave a return envelope? If yes, did you track the envelope? Was it renewal or lost passport? If it's lost passport, it will take long time bcos it's processed from Nigeria
Excellent answer
Take it with you when you go for the appointment. And apply online ahead so that all your documents are right there.
My sister passport needs renewal. what do she need to renew it . Thanks
Yes, the Consular office will be opened to the public
How do you ask for this Expedition?
Go to the embassy in Atlanta but make sure u have an appointment.
You can quickly come for the name change but be sure it's a long process involved
No, you can't. It only takes few minutes of your time to do it online.
U have to fill your application on line make and appointment. They don't accept walk in. But give them a call to be sure they have booklets
There's holiday yesterday in Nigeria, I will advice to you call them and email them before anything. They gave me hell, before I can do mine. But I did it this Tuesday
You will need to come in ASAP and speak with the Consul General. Where are you based in the US? Many questions for u to answer. Let's see how we can help
You will take it with you, same day
Not yet
You are better off filing a Fiance visa with USCIS for him
There has been shortage of booklets. You might need to call the office next week
FALSE. WE ARE OPEN
Who said that passport booklets are out?
Not taking new application at the moment bcos of non availability of passport booklets
U can give them a call or send them an email.
Wait till it expire
Lost passport is always an issue. What city r u? Lemme see how we can be of help ASAP
you should have expedite it when you went in for the passport. I don't think you can do that anymore
Cynthia, I'm very confused on the same decision. My friend said that the visa on arrival is good. Which sounds good also. But I've never left the country so I'm a bit confused to. They said "it'll be a month b4 they give VISA again. So they told m Abt that option. I haven't decided yet. But if you're planning to leave by the 20th of this month you might have to do the visa on arrival. I wish you good luck and a very safe trip.
They are currently experiencing shortage of passport booklets. You may want to call them of your postal envelope tracking isn't showing any form of transit
No one can determine when booklet can be available because it's been brought from Nigeria. On the 2nd question, expedited process only takes maximum of 2weeks
Passport valid for at least 6 months Completed visa application form Two recent passport size photographs A Letter of Invitation from a company/host in Nigeria accepting immigration responsibility Visitors/Tourists are required to show evidence of sufficient funds Nigeria Immigration Service Visa Payment Receipt and Visa Acknowledgement Receipt Copy of Passport data page of the Nigerian inviting the American guest with be required
When are you looking to travel? If it's within the next one month, applying at Atlanta Consulate won't be a good ideas as they are backed up due to shortage of passport booklets. If you are not in a hurry, then go online to Atlanta Consulate website, click the link that says passport and follow the process
U should be looking at 3 - 4wks
A good one month will be ideal because of the recent system upgrade at the Atlanta Consulate that might av caused delay in processing the passports
Are u in Nigeria or USA?
You can also call to the embassy in D.C. and New York for answers
I believe the age . My aunt was the person that got her passport for her (back in 2008) and wrote 1989 but my sister is actually 1985. Its the age on her birth certificate and it needs to be the same with her passport for her to get her marriage license
$120 with a post office money order.
You have to be at the port within 90 days after the visa is granted so last week in May.
Go to the consulate home page for more details on how to reschedule. There's an email you have to send the request to. It's not guaranteed you'll be attended to if you show up without an interview receipt.
I taught they don't care about whenever people show up. Just make sure u get there very early as soon as they are opened.
Thanks for the observation, we will bring this to the attention of the necessary Dept.
Hi, thank you, have called all the phone numbers on the site as you advised but nothing ,it's so frustrating, Lord ve mercy.
BE ADVISED, WE DO NOT ACCEPT USPS. WE ONLY ACCEPT UPS. SECONDLY, WE ONLY ACCEPT, MONEY ORDER FROM THE POST OFFICE N A PROFF OF TRAVEL OR DOCUMENT UPON WHICH YOUR IMMEDIATE NEED IS BASED. THANKS
It takes an average of 6 months for a lost passport. And u will have to pay more money with police report.
Call the consulate office for details
It take 7 business days for processing. Book an appt with OIS. Carry all require documents with you.
Visit. Www.oisservices.com select Houston
Do you have a private jet??
Money order only and USPS only.
Do you need money order even if you're not ordering for expedited service or just UPS priority mailing envelope?
Come to the Consulate n obtain one
Yes Karen. Go to the Nigeria Consulate website n follow the link
Yes if your regular interview date is earlier you can ask to be changed for further date
I really don't know, l just follow given instructions, that's all.
Calling the consulate will not work. I'm pretty sure they don't like picking up the phone. Go on the consulate home page website. There's an auto reply email for rescheduling interviews..
if you expedite it, you will get it within a week but if you didn't it 3 to 4 months or longer.
Absolutely. In addition to the base requirements(application, etc), You'll need to bring with you a USPS $65 money order for each passport, USPS priority shipping envelope, scanned copy of passport data page, and travel itinerary(if you have one). All has to be a hard copy, can't pull out ypur phone for any pictures or online documents
contact the consulate
no you can't they won't attend to you
you have to email them or go the day after your interview date because your interview date matters and they will not attend to you if you go before it
Have you filled the form and paid the necessary fees? If you have not done so, then simply choose the center you want to use and go there
yes you will. just tell they your appointment date.
Yes. I would suggest paying after the biometric process. Also, It's best to get the $65 USPS money order before you travel...just to make sure you have everything together. Also, don't forget usps express shipping envelope, hard copy of your itinerary, and copy of expired passport data page. These folks are very particular...have all these things to avoid hiccups.
Yes, I would recommend staying the night.
you need to write a letter stating the reason why you travelling and the date you are traveling, the airline and the state and city you travelling from. you need a copy of your itinerary and i think the fee is $150 but it under $200. you need 2 passport phone and most importantly you need the data page copy or the alien number of the lost passport. it usually takes a week but if you get there early in the morning, they will give you the sameday
Have try and call ,they won't pick
Go to innovative.com and book your appointment they won't attend to you if you show up there unless it on your appointment date
you have to apply online first
You mean sent back to Nigerian Consulate Atlanta?
Write the letter and go to any notary public. And if you are planning to visit the consulate, it can be done at the building on the side. Just make sure u bring ur ID or passport.
Good afternoon, I had my interview on Jan 23rd, please I need to expedite my passport processing urgently. I live in Houston Tx but work in Canada. The old passport expires in a week's time and I have official trips scheduled. What can I do to expedite it? Thanks.
No. You need to go to OIS office to obtain a visa. Online Integrated Services
As a matter of fact you have an appointment date on one of the paperwork you printed after making the payment online. Check out your paperwork quickly. Try not to miss that date- less frustration.
Your interview date is on your payment and acknowledge slip.. If you like to change it to sooner visit the consulate website.
No
Five working days if you have everything they require.
Yes. Just go online and fill out the application.
If you filled out the application online, you should've received your interview date right away via email along with a receipt.
BRING YOUR MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE. IF THE MARRIAGE TOOK PLACE IN NIGERIA, THEN YOU NEED TO COME IN WITH THE FOLLOWING: 1. MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE 2. COURT AFFIDAVIT FOR NAME CHANGE IN NIGERIA 3. NEWSPAPER PUBLICATION FOR THE NAME CHANGE. IF THE MARRIAGE TOOK PLACE IN THE US. THEN YOU ONLY NEED THE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE ITSELF.
That should work...unless You mean Feb 2019. You should probably renew your passport in Nigeria before coming back to avoid the ATL consulate wahala.
Not long. I will say about 4 weeks if everything goes as planned. From mailing to the consulate and back to ur mailbox. Good luck.
Apply online and send passport to the consulate. It takes about 2-4 weeks to process and u will receive in the mail as soon as approved or denied. There is also an option to receive a visa on arrival in Naija, seen few people that did that. So, ur choice bro.
Follow the instructions on this site http://nigeria-consulate-atl.org/passport/
No way. When u see it in the mail...
Good luck about that because they never answer the phone.
Unless u have a video proof, it is hard to report. Nigeria is a corrupt country by itself. Use social media to share the video and I can assure u that the officer will be disciplined. All the best.
Do you mean 7/15/2018?. If this date is correct, then you have to reach out to them to check what is holding it. Call their office.
They take it and later returned with the new one.
Useless set of people at that location. They never answer phones and they are extremely rude. Especially one man named Pious.. I wish you luck.
Please Google Nigeria consulate hours and if it's open tomorrow you can, although usually you must have appointment date to get thru the gate. Also u can go there to the business center and they'll help you with the applications for a fee. Good luck.. Ck.
@Ugo Nwab did you get your ETC? Pls let me know
Waiting is the only thing u can do. It might take up to 4 months to get it back, just depends on how busy they get at the consulate. This is year ending, lots of people traveling, just hope u r not planning to travel soon. U will see it around January 2019. Best wishes.
I week and you hv to come with your traveling ticket plus the 65 dollars money order
Very hard to get someone over the phone. The only way is to come in or just wait for the consulate to respond to your letter.
Consulate General of Nigeria in Atlanta
U can use Visa or Mastercard. Follow the instructions on the website. And other payments will have to be money order.
You can go in at any time but if they are coming to Houston, find out from people and will be cheaper for u.
Oscar78 The poster have a scheduled appointment date Dec 26, I have the same problem mine is Nov 21(schedule conflict). Can you walk in earlier than your appointment date ?
Mr Idowu, what kind of passport? Is it the E passport? Or the MRP?
No expedited. If u have Nigeria expired passport u can go to Atlanta and do ETC emergency travel certificate
No. You can use one envelope for all your family members passport provided they are being sent to same address. You need to clarify the $65 own
They said you can change the dat for $20 online
Go to the Consulate office with your airline tickets for everyone traveling and apply for expidite processing for your passports. It will cost you more money per passport but you may get your passports within 14 business days. Otherwise, you may have to request for Emergency Travel Documents from the Consulate General. Goodluck.
U don't need to change the interview date. U can visit the office on any day, just go early. It is first come, first serve basis, appointment doesn't matter. Best wishes.
Yes, l spoke to someone. You will have to keep calling all the numbers listed for "contact us" until someone answers. This applies to Atlanta though. The Consulate is opened Monday through Thursday only. Good luck.
It will take up to month for it to be ready
Yes. Just make sure u register online and complete the application. Bring 2 passport photographs and u can even get ur passport the same day. Catch: U will pay more and traveling within a week of that day. That's all.
Your interview date is in your payment slip and No
It automatically pick a date for u when u applied. U can walk in anytime, just make sure u go early.
You have to fill out everything online , get a date online before u come to the Consulate. Plz only come in at the appointed time. Thanks
Do u mean that your passport will expire on December 29th? If yes, you can apply now. You are eligible to apply 6 months before it actually expired. Pick any of the 3 passport renewal place close to u, Atlanta, New york or Washington DC. Good luck...
Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport will be ur best option.
Hi Kady Riley, my interview date is on my slip, but it is about 2 months from today. I am unable to reach them to reschedule for a more recent date. Can I just walk in?
Yes. But u will have to wait for about 6 months or more for reply. They will have to get approval from Abuja b4 a new one can be issued. So, good luck on that. But if u r traveling soon, just get a travel certificate. But make sure u buy a direct flight from US (Like Delta) straight to Nigeria to avoid any complication.
Hi , Abuja has to approve the said application before it can be produced locally . As soon as we hv an approval, it will be produced.
I heard visas are done at the Nigerian embassy in New York. No longer in atlanta
Do they still want you to bring another money order of $36?
The interview date should be on the payment & acknowledgment slip, if you paid online.
Check very well.,My advice, jst stick with the date Innovate 1Services scheduled u
You need a letter of consent signed by both parents and the passport page of the Nigerian parents Nigerian passport
The interview date is just a formal thing. U can walk in anytime but make sure u go early. And u can even get ur passport on that day, but u will pay more, only if you are traveling within a week from the date u showed up at their office.
How can I pay for expedited service? Can you please send me a link to that?
I did my lost passport 11 months ago still counting
Try and arrange a visit to the consulate. They do have terrible customer service, typical Nigerians.
Have to reschedule the appointment as soon as you can
I believe she can, as it is still valid as at the the time intended for travel but if u have the option to renew before makes it better and saves you the headache of having it done in Nigeria if she's to come back after the passport expiry date.
Hi, Mr Raymond, this agency, does the sorting and submission of the applications to the Consulate However, I believe , it is to speed up things, jst like in the US, u often are sent to ASC for fingerprints.
Hi, Ms Mary, the website portal for payment is currently closed. Chk our website for updates.
my wife and my daughter did there own March 8th no sign of there passport we already bought our tickets
I'm still waiting for my too after coming from Chicago and gave every copy of prove to them I tell them I need it asap and I was told to pay extra money and expedite that I'm gonna receive it in a week which I did all they said and paid for the expedite and I'm still haven't got my passport up till now what the he'll is even going on
Yes, you do!
Which of the embassies? I don't even think it's possible to go through via an agency because you're required to be there in person for your finger prints at the consulate. Did you do any fingerprint at the agency and what about your expired passport, did you submit it to them for vetting because that's what the consulate will do - if you didn't do all these, the agency is not real. Go online, apply newly, pay and get an appointment date, and when you get there, you can expedite the process and forget about the 5 days with the so-called agency because I have no idea what you can do about that.
Apply, pay, and get an appointment date online.
Yes, you do need an appointment date after you applied and paid online.
Lol... That's no express anymore. But, I'm sure if you've actually gone there to do your biometrics with the kids, you should get it tomorrow which Friday because that's gonna be exactly one month that you've applied for it according to what you said. It doesn't take more that one month, it could even be earlier because mine was ready a week before a month that I applied. Good luck.if you don't get it between now and next week, be ready to go there for the second time and sort it out with them in person because calling won't suffice.
Mr Innocent, plz go to the Consulate website. I almost certain, it takes about 5 to 7 business day.
The lady that I spoke to told me to just go ahead and come and I already bought my flight ticket to Atlanta and they sent the schedule date late after I bought my ticket
Proof of marriage certificate should suffice.
Sorry, that's not gonna happen. You Will have to do a biometrics. So, it's imperative you appear in person because of that finger prints you will do. I am answering this from experience. Your presence is required, that's why you've been given an appointment date.
They should've given you a tracking number for your envelope. Check and see if it's been shipped and hope it'll arrive before you leave. If you're close by, maybe drop in and see how far they've gotten.
Sorry, it was a hectic day. Can I help u
If you're close by, best bet is to visit the consulate in person. If not, go through the site. It takes 4-6 weeks.
It's possible, she could expedite the process within that two weeks. It only takes 5 working days. She Will have to pay extra $60 on the day of her appointment. And she will get her receipt immediately and date of collection. It sometimes faster than that but usually, that's the standard time for it. I'm telling you this from experience.
If you've not gone for your biometrics, nothing will be processed. You have to appear in person after you making the Payment online. I applied for mine in January and I went for the biometrics on the 19th of January 2018, and I was told I would receive it on the 16th of February but I got it already before the stipulated date - i.e the new passport this past weekend.
It's possible... go to the portal and apply for it. And get your interview date. You can choose between New York and Atlanta for the place of interview or appointment.
You will have to send him an invite which is need when requesting for a Nigerian visa
I'm 90% sure that date is arbitrary. You can try and just go to the Consulate in person and let them know of your situation. That number they have posted is barely ever answered by an actual human being.
I have no idea!
Yeah, she can as long she has proof for the divorced and change of name.
Today Thursday January 18th,yes.To be double sure, please visit the consulates website.
Did you pay for a passport or the application to apply for a passport? Those are two different things. The passport should have been sent to you within 3 weeks. The application is valid for, I think, 90 days after you paid for it.
The consular website has info on lost passport. She needs a police report to get a new passport. For the birth certificate, I am not sure how that will be handled. A phone call or email to the embassy may help answer some of your questions.
Well, you apply on online, pay the fees, and print the forms. Make sure you read the instructions and take with you all of the things required on the date you take the baby to the consular office. The embassy already uses an agent to complete the application. You do not need an agent beyond that point. Plan on spending 2-3 hours at the consular office on the date of the interview. The passport will arrive about 4 weeks after the interview.
Ok
They don't go by the interview dates, you can walk in. Go early.
Yes thank you!!
Same here, I was told I did receive mine on the 17th. My tracking number shows that it hasn't even left atlanta yet, and no one picks up calls at the consulate..so frustrating
If you mean student visa into the US, then NO you cannot renew it in the US. As long as your f1 status is valid, you are good to go. The only time you will need to renew your visa is if you leave the US and need to get back into the country. Hope this helps
How does the person get their money back?
When you call and it goes to the answering machine (as it usually does), just ignore what the answering machine is saying and go ahead and press the number "0" (zero). It will connect you with an online representative instantly.
Not sure about that.....such is about to start only with ECOWAS passport holders...2018....
Best thing to do is visit the consulate in person. A lot of the sites online are scams; many overcharge for the applications as well.
Nigeria has consulates in Washington Dc,Florida and New York.Pick the nearest one close to you, visit their online site or call them to find out the best way to do this. Now your name sounds Nigerian, there is a possibility you don't need a visa but a Nigerian Pasaport.Best of luck to you.
I believe you can...after which he/she will need to file a change of status with USCIS.
CONSULATE HOURS Hours of Operation: 10.00a.m – 3.00pm EST Mondays – Fridays except on public holidays.
Try and visit him in nigeria first, then come back to US and told for a fiancee visa for him(k1 visa).. but you have to be sure you will be getting married to him within 90 days if he gets here on k1 visa..
It's about 100 dollars. But you can visit the website of the Nigerian consulate for more information.
No.Monday to Friday 10am-3pm.
As far as I know, you've got to pay for the application online.
Yes you have to if you are equally applying on his/her behalf....pictures will be captured but not finger printed....I applied for my four year old and had to go there with him☺
That should be fine; nevertheless, you may search the net for recommended vaccinations. You could also take anti-malaria medicines with you (in case you're bitten by mosquitoes); however, you should be fine. Nothing to fear. By the way...remember to visit Obudu Cattle Ranch and some other beautiful places. Safe ride. God bless you.
Look for the closest consulate general office to you to renew it. You can get that information online. I did mine in Atlanta.
