A small improvement to suggest, the possibility of making an appointment for the whole family in order to avoid multiple trips. Apart from that, very good team, friendly and responsive. Thanks.

Called twice during business hours - listened to the French message then English hoping they will say to press a number to speak with a real person! Nothing at the end of both messages it hung up on you. You can't press any number to speak with someone!!! They refer you to their website but my question is not on the website.

I was there recently for renewing 5 passports for our family. Service was very good and the guy who processed our applications was very friendly and efficient!

The service there has always been excellent, it's getting an appointment that can be tedious.

There is paid parking associated and attached to the Consulate office tower. Also Lenox mall parking is next door.

I believe you are already a French citizen: "Est français l’enfant, dont l’un des parents au moins est français au moment de sa naissance." You can call the Consulate for help. You can get a copy of your French birth certificate online by searching for "demande acte de naissance".
Do a search for "form w 9 in french". I found this link: https://www.td.com/english/document/PDF/W-9%2520French.pdf
Try World Nomads through Nationwide or Allianz. They have traveler's policies that include repatriation.
You need a passport.
You can see available times and make an appointment on the Consulate's website. You will receive a confirmation to print and bring with you on the day of your appointment.
