Lack of professionalism, bad attitude, zero empathy. The consular officer spends her time arguing with you instead of helping. Have been trying for months to get an appointment. There are never appointments available at their website. Travel from an island more than 6 hours and pay hotel accommodations to “beg” for help so my wife and family could travel to see my dad with cancer. The consul argued for 15 minutes with my wife when the paperwork could have been done in 20. Worst experience ever in ALL my life in an office where you are suppose to help Colombians??? Rude staff, phone is NEVER answered. Emails were NEVER answer either. Lack of humanity. All employees were in bad mood and seemed afraid of the consul. Colombia needs to learn to hire professionals for such an important job instead of entitled inefficient people who do NOT care about their fellow Colombians. Don’t waste your time calling or emailing. Wish there was a zero stars review because one is too much!

Today I had an appointment to renew my passport and the attention was fast and on good terms. I hope they continue that way. Thank you
Sonia Acosta
Very bad at giving instructions to wait. If you have an appointment you have to announce yourself, they will still call in disorder. The staff has very poor communication.

I would like to leave it 0 stars, the worst attention that a place can provide, rude when receiving you, they blame you for being late and we were a group of 9 people... I went for an EMERGENCY matter that they asked me to go and they never helped me, they are very rude people, unhelpful, this consulate should improve or stop providing service

I need support from the Foreign Ministry since I am hospitalized and have a mobility disability. Can I be treated here at the hospital?
I agree, the bad thing is that nobody responds to the needs we have. And they work 6 hours when there is not so much demand????
How much does it cost to notarize a signature of a power
Unfortunately the only thing that is achieved from the consulates is complication and disappointment. The answers will never come.
If they force everything to be by appointment until an emergency ... prepared because the service is lousy and the one who calls himself the consul says that he does us a favor, if so because they charge until greeting, lousy service for Colombians in Atlanta
Unfortunately, if you did not register your ID on time, you can no longer vote for the second round.
8:00 am to 2:00 pm and you don't need an appointment, only until March 27, hurry up.
The service is not human. Undocumented people like me treat us like beggars and command us to talk to people. They are the same as that consul. There is no direction to address the needs of Colombians abroad. And they charge very clear for everything. All are tie posts like everything in our country. Q my country colombia is beautiful but directed by white collar thieves.
It Takes 24 hours to be ready / the emergency passport is ready in 24 hours
Hello! First, you must make an appointment on Thursday after 2:00 pm. You go to the appointment schedule option and there you are given the options of the documents, whether it is a civil registration certificate, permits, or a passport. Remember that appointments are only given from one week to the next so you cannot make it a week in advance. So apostilles are not made there because I saw many people went to make apostilles, they lost their trip, check carefully what photos your documents require and what measurements because I had to go 3 times for the same photos and there is nowhere to take them nearby, so go prepared finally. Try to be early because they call and if you don't go you literally miss your appointment.
You can't suddenly not help you the best thing is to ask for the appointment on Thursdays at 2pm Colombia time calls be insistent
You must enter type 3 pm onwards, test and accounts
Yes. You need to make an appointment for renewal.

Mrs. Natalia, try to keep insisting and if you can't contact the consulate and if you live outside of Atlanta, I can help you and go to the consulate and ask for an appointment, and that's with pleasure. Oh, and there's no cost.
For the permit you have to go and pay 12 dollars so that they give you the permit, for that you do not ask for an appointment to pay Both of them are made with a money order, the same way you arrive first at the embassy and they guide you with the information so that you can carry out your errands arrive early so that the day will catch up with you, you must bring your identity card, if you do not have it, you must request it at the consulate, ask for the passport appointment and hopefully they will help you soon
Go early at around 7:30 a.m. and without an appointment they can attend you, yes, you must wait for them to have a space to attend you

The identity card had to be registered at the consulate until Tuesday, March 29.
Yes, you can as long as you have your ID registered, if not, you have time to register for the presidential elections on May 28.
The face-to-face service is terrible, it seems that they have not learned the good manners of the USA. and virtual appointments take up to a month and a half???
You do not need to put it in anyone's name, just buy it in a store for the exact value you need it
You must bring a money order with the exact payment. Your old passport and identity card. Check the website to know the costs because they raised for this year.
They are not going to go, nor can one register there. Tap for an app
Yes sir
Go to the Colombian consulate and tell them that your answer has not arrived, it is better to go in person and they can help you better
You have to go to the Colombian consulate and they give you more information
My question is: my fiancé lives in North Carolina, he had planned to come to Cali, Colombia to marry me, but now with the new mandates that foreigners need a vaccine to come so he cannot enter because he does not have a vaccine, he has a medical prescription where his doctor advises that he cannot receive the vaccine because it would be risky for his health since he has allergy problems, what we can do so that he can enter the country.
How can I find out if the passport is ready to go and claim it?

Iván the number must be your Colombian ID number if that is your case...

For the Congress it is not possible anymore, for presidential ones it is until the 18 of March the registration, enter in the page and well above to the right, there is like a cajonsito of green letters that says registration to vote.

This week I went twice with my daughter to do errands in the consulate, my daughter is an American citizen and I came to visit her for a few days; the attention was agile and effective, it made me feel proud of the good service outside of our country. Congratulations to the consul and his team.
