So sorry. U should have paid more for collecting the same day. If u have American passport, u can use that and get a visa upon arrival in Nigeria. Sounds like that's ur only option now. Good luck.
It's almost a year and I'm still waiting to get my passport both the old one I submitted with my application and the supposedly new one! This is very frustrating 😠. Calls and emails are doing nothing to my case. Terrible people, imagine your own country holding you hostage!
Please mail back my old passport and stop holding on to it if you will not do anything with it. We started this process with you guys March of 2018. I received a call that my passport is sitting around after I paid and travelled here all the way from Chicago.
I paid express and received mine in a little over 1 week. I also used overnight USPS envelope. When did you go for your interview? Also include your receipt number and info when sending emails or contacting the consulate. Good luck. I was under a similar anxiety before I travelled a few weeks ago.
Not true, Mr. Ade , we do not have same day service . Express service is now , on or before two weeks. Reasons are 1. Some applicant may have provided to us different envelope. envelope are of different type, 2 or 3 days, the mailing system depend on the US system, not the Consulate. 2. If upon processing, anything comes up on the applicant information, we , consulate, call the applicant, to resolve the problem, now, some of the numbers, may not work, . 3. let Mr.Bello tell me, the day , he came for biometric, n the day he was to receive the ppt. 4. I am in the same situation Bello. I had my passport renewal Biometric done November 8 and I am yet to receive my passport. I have called the consolate no answer and emailed them with my collection slip attached no answer. My flight to naija is in 6 days! Have you received your passport?
