On top of my last review, when we went this time, Poseidon's Fury is now open and has a show every 15 minutes. It was a great show! Lines move quickly too since it is a grouping of people at a time. The only thing I will advise, if you have young children with you (a few times as part of the show for effect) the lights in the rooms go out and I noticed a child a little scared. So if you are there with children... you may want to talk to them to prepare them first or not take them in at all, depending on the the child. If you do decide to take them in, I would definitely hold their hand. The lights don't go out for very long but it does happen. Otherwise, the show is very well put together and is very good! We loved it!

If you're trying to choose Disney vs. Universal, definitely go Universal!! We decided to purchase the express pass which made everything so much better! We were able to ride every single ride and still had time to do some shopping, eating, watch some shows, and take some pictures around the park! The place definitely gets crowded so I would recommend getting there as early as possible. Also love that it's a parking garage and not open parking like at Disney! This park definitely caters to older kids as they have more rollercoasters. So if you have tiny, tiny ones, you probably want to go the Disney route. But in my Opinion, Universal has made it to where everything runs a lot smoother, even with the big crowds! One of the biggest things that is a plus for me, there are a lot more trees and shaded areas at universal, especially when standing line. And with this summer heat, that makes a huge difference!! Would definitely come here all the time if I lived in Florida!

Best trip ever!! We had a blast. The lines were long but moved very quickly. The staff members were nice and appeared to really love their jobs. The Spider man ride is a must!! We spent 3 days there and still didn't get to do everything. Yes it was costly but my children enjoyed every minute of it

I've never had so much fun in my life! Two days full of adrenaline, happiness, wildness and joy! Island of Adventure has it all! I recommend a Park-to-Park ticket and take advantage of it during the week. This resort will enjoy both child and adult! Thank you for an exceptional experience!
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
Yes , except water ride's . In all fairness there doing a heck of a job enforcing rules , thumbs up to universal!!👍👍
Hi all. I work at Universal and military discounts for US 🇺🇸 residents are found at shadesofgreen.org. Hope this helps!
Yes! Even though the food is really good, I understand dietary or financial restrictions. Just no coolers or alcohol. I usually bring some small snacks and a water bottle
Yes they have wheelchair and carters rental available
About $120 per park and $180 at the gate for a park to park ticket
Dr. Seuss land. Would be better to wait until around 6 years old so they can ride and remember it.
Triple A offers discount tickets and do bundle packages for multiple days
They have free lockers available near every ride. It is kinda small so only small stuff and small hand bags would fit. There are large lockers available as well but it is $5.
Yes it is BUT tbe new Velocicoaster is hands down the best ever. Opens to public on June 10th, there's sometimes a soft opening until then top ride it.
You can see them on youtube look for them like "island of adventure orlando rides"
Masks must be worn, sanitizer before each ride, 3 ft spacing between parties in lines
Yes but you will pay a higher price than you would if you get a deal online, which is pretty eaay to do, even if saving a few bucks.
The characters are still there however they are stationary. The kids can take a picture in front of them but they cannot get within 6ft
Absolutely. However, you can do city walk. There are stores, restaurants, mini golf, and a movie theater
They have a reduced capacity (estimated at 50%) that has been reached numerous times.
There are packages of two parks. I visit universal studios and islands of adventures that are next to each other.
I think you all Will enjoy it, but have to be aware that without fast pass lines can get very long during vacations time, you can check wait times for every ride on the Universal mobile app. If you stay at some Universal resorts your room key works as fast pass
This is not a water park, but there are water rides. I recommend bringing a change of clothes... Just in case
No because it's closed after 5pm for both sides
No weight limit; however, persons with "specific dimensions" should try out the test seats to determine if that is a ride they would be comfortable riding. Most seats are of standard size (think of the typical seat in a car or SUV).
Daniela Fernández, any day you can buy tickets, even if you buy them in advance on the Internet, they are cheaper. Islands worth visiting is a fun and wonderful place for the whole family in general. Sorry, I thought I misunderstood the question, in effect the ticket is used only for the day and date indicated, not before not later, because if you want to use it after the date, you lose it. And if you want to use them before, it would be a problem with the administration, you would have to request cancellation and a new ticket date and if you could but it is very complicated.
Put it in a backpack. They don't allow coolers but if you put it in backpack u can bring sandwiches and water. Also their souvenir cups allow refills for any kind of drink all day for $12.99 and if u bring it back the next day its $7.99 for all day refills.i brought water and sandwiches with no problem with security. Have fun.
I think the doctor suess restaurant is the cheapest at universal but I'm not sure
Yes, just talk to guest services and they could get you tickets to a blue man group concert or give a free express pass or dining plan. But it a first come first serve basis so you'd wanna do it first thing when you get there.
Lockers usually cost from around 2 to 4 dollars
Best place for those answers would be their website.. They have specials going all the time..
My best recommendation is to buy on the official website. There are discounts sometimes for various parks. Do not fall into unofficial pages that often require you to attend talks that make you waste your time
Abit disappointed to see ppl not "masked up" in queues.
That happened to me, I went there where they sell the tickets and they gave me another one, they only asked me for identification, in fact I lost my wallet and they understood they gave me a new one, good luck
They should be open everyday and they open at either 9 or 10am
Ticket prices do vary for a multitude of reasons, but if you do think about what all it takes to run the park... it's fair
I know it cost disney around 5 million to run one park for a day so i assume that universal is similar
Yes I saw them while I was there. But I don't know where to rent one
As you enter the park, going from the left, you have, "The Hulk", move around through the Toon Town, You'll go past 2 water rides with some coaster-esque drops, (Rip Saw Falls and Blutos Bilge Rats, From there, Kong Island- indoor ride, not a coaster, but fun. Then you are in Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, one more water ride with the Jurassic River Adventure, The Coaster everyone is anticipating is the, "Veloci-coaster" June 10th 2021on that happening. We then move into Hogsmeade. Hagrids Magical Creatures...I am going to refer you to the Universal App. To answer your question... 4 Coasters in my opinion are at Islands of Adventure.
There may be some rides worth checking in the Dr. Seuss area, but most of the park seems directed towards maybe people in their tweens and older.
It's pretty easy to keep them on while on rides. We've been on every ride with them including the coasters. Sometimes they come down a bit on the coasters and we just pull it up. The water rides they let you take it off so it doesn't get wet.
The food at the parks are not quality! I would recommend to Bring your own
No, it's first come first serve. Once they reach capacity they don't always reopen later in the day, but sometimes they do...
Just went a week ago. I would say the lines seem longer but because of social distancing guidelines. Most rides we went on were at least 20 minutes less on avg, than the listed wait times on app. A few we just about walked up & rode within 10-15 minutes. I rode just about all but 2 rides in each of the parks without fast passes, just by walking up.
Yes you can. 18 years of age it's the minimum requirement.
It depends, there are many options and various promotions, there are currently 2 parks in 1 day and the 2nd day is free! For $ 127 this price is super good, but you must go to the website to see all the options
It will be open. It will be the last day until the end of the month
We bought tickets in advance and for 2 parks so paid $234 per person. Otherwise they're $115 per person
I went there by the next week after New Year's eve, it was wednesday and the rides had no line at all
Thank you
The app says it's from 9 am to 9 pm
All attractions are included. You get a discount on everything from merchandise to food with the pass.
Universal Parks are relate to movies and characters which make them so familiar and good to enjoy for every single person in the family, no matter what age you have. Rides and show are great! Don't miss it...
Thank you everyone for answering my questions. I shall look forward to doing the park to park ticket in hopes that I have the stamina to do both. Thanks again everyone. Kathy
What you call Harry Potter island is an expansion inside the studios. Universal orlando has 2 theme parks, island of adventure and universal studios. In island of adventure you have hogsmeade a fictional Harry Potter village and Hogwarts, the castle. And at universal studios you got diagonalley. There is the Hogwarts Express that takes you from one place to the other but you will need the 2 park tickets. I personally reccomend visiting island of adventure if you will only visit one because hogsmeade and hogwarts are bigger and have the better rides. Diagonalley from universal studios is new with new rides coming so jot only will it be packed but there are less rides.
In Universal, you cannot have free pins. Maybe they can give you stickers
You can get through it in a day assuming you get there when it opens and take minimal breaks.
I think they are good for 1 calendar year. Call their support though to make sure
Normally those tickets are park to park but just check the description on your confirmation to be sure. The ticket should include Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios.
No rain. Very much sun
Looks like it will be done after December I was there last Sunday looks like alot still needs to be done
Because it was a military rate I had to present my military ID.
Does your employer offer anything like tickets at work? That might be your best bet. Go to Universal 's website they might have some deals especially if your dates are flexible. Sorry to hear about yours sons and their dad
The parking is split between Volcano Bay or City Walk/Universal/Islamds of Adventure. They have tiered prices. If you go after 6 pm parking is free.
We went from the hotel in our car like 10 minutes
Perfect! Go today! We'll probably see each other 😂
They do in some restaurants
Opens st 8am for hotel guests
you can smoke its outside but I think they have designated area's
Yes they have wifi, it is in overall ok, in some areas or if it is very crowded you may lost signal
How old are the kids? How many days are you going for? Are you a Florida resident?
Yes, wheelchairs are available for rent.
You should call for information if your group is bigger that 10
correct call directly and you should get answer
My best guess is that it's 2:00 pm once on Saturdays (JOKE).
If you're a Florida resident the are resident discounts. Best bet is to try that if you qualify, otherwise a multi park multiday ticket with fast pass is going to be the least expensive ticket.
Mears works nicely. Or take a Lyft or Uber. Cheap and easy.
Additionally, Some Unviersal Resorts will have deals that will provide Express passes. You can also get military discounts and the Universal City Walk is free except for parking.
English please.
If you like Harry Potter do the park hopper. If not do the Islands of Adventure would be your best choice.
From $ 115.00 US + Tax per person. See website https://www.universalorlando.com/web/en/us/tickets-packages/park-tickets/index.html. Evaluate offers or with your local travel agent.
Please clarify your question. The pricing and specials are subject to Universal's policies.
No Undestain, sorry
Thank you for your answer .. And from there I take the transport (universal bus) to the park of my preference? Thank you....
At the water park? Lazy river was the only place water was a bit cooler but everywhere else it was a little heated. If you are talking about the Jurassic, Popeye ride, its not heated at all.
View all April to May. April and May are some of the best months to visit Universal Studios. This is the 'shoulder season' when you'll get the best of peak season and low season perks. You can expect warm comfortable weather and less crowds at the park as long as you avoid any seasonal breaks and schoolholidays.
General parking costs have risen to$20 from $17, Florida residents still receive free parking after 6 p.m., and parking is free for everyone from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Cool
This is not the place to ask that.
Universal studios Florida I think is better than islands of adventure.
An 8yo would likely most like the Harry Potter section. My daughters love the super heros but if she's not in to comics or roller coasters there are a few things in the Dr. Seuss section.
You can also download the Universal app and buy your tickets through that.
Yes
No you can't add
Pretty sure he'll be able to do E.T. and Men in Black, but definitely not Jurassic Park River adventure.
No, its outside. You dont need park tickets for that.
Google roughly translates your question as is one day enough or should I go for multiple days. To answer your question, there are two parks, Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida. The two parks are joined by a train in Harry Potter land. The only way to ride the train is to have a two park pass. If you're really fast you could do both parks in one day, but if you've never been to either Park I would suggest a 2day 2 park pass. That would allow you to go between parks on the train so that you can see it, and do all the attractions in both parks. If you only want to do one Park, then one day is sufficient.
There are no discounts. It's regular admission price.
Yes
It depends each ride, you can check it in the universal app or in the website
Due to their being several packages for Florida residents and non residents, I would recommend you go online and verify. They have park hoppers and 1 or more day passes as well as the annual pass. Visit to the park is NEVER free unless you upgrade another ticket and I don't think ANY of the parks will cost you $500 for unlimited fast passes
It's open and is a great water ride.
A good pair of walking shoes. Clothing appropriate for the weather. If going on water rides, clothing that dries quickly.
Yes... Thats true. If you're Georgia resident they have offer buy 1day ticket 2nd day free, over the phone ticket buying option.
Universal and Islands of Adventure! We usually start with Universal & then ride Hogwarts Express over to Islands of Adventure!
Around 120 $....but u need to take Express pass to avoid the waiting lines...makes a ton of difference with Express pass...
With the ticket in the user's name it is enough
Both are very good and very interesting, but my favorite it's adventure island
We found many of the rides were designed inn such a way that even if you rode them as a group you would bee unable to interact with each other. We discovered that riding as "single riders" gave us fast access to rides - in wait times very similar to Fast Pass riders - without the expense of buying Fast Passes.
I think the Island of Adventure are for bigger kids and they enjoy more as there are more activity for their age group, ie, 12 and over. Additionally, less crowded than Disney
Hulk, Spider-Man and Forbidden Journey are some of my favorites at Islands. They have great water rides too if ya don't mind getting wet. Ripsaw falls, Jurassic Park and the rapids are a nice cool off this time of year.
I have been there in late August in the past. Not quite as busy but man was it hot and humid. Bring lots of sunscreen
Alot
9, I always use single lane rider, even with the family, way shorter wait times
Why would you want to play video games in a theme park?
I usually get my tickets from someone who works there and they'll give it to me for less than half price off or maybe as a gift depending on the time of year
You must have the season pending; You can also see some real offers that exist
It depends on where you buy the tickets, for example: in the Orlando otutlet they are sold cheap if you listen to a 90-minute talk at a hotel
Check the website! They post special events/guests on there. It also may be too early to tell. You'll probably want to check back closer to your trip.
Universal pays Marvel for rights. Disney owns rights, so universal pays Disney.
100 on average per park
Yes. Popeye and dudley do rights rip saw falls are water rides. Popeye is a big round tube that rides rapids. Rip saw falls is a log flume. Jurrasic park has a huge water ride.
Depends on the day you will be going
n
Customer service will help you
Try calling them. They might be able to help you with that
Just call their number for better information!
No basketball court. They have 2 theme parks & a water park.
Florida resident discounts, but I've never heard of Universal doing anything for college students. Your college, if it's UCF, Valencia Community College, USF etc MAY offer discounts on campus (like at the bookstores) It's worth looking in to. I did see, recently, Groupon doing something w/ the parks!! Have fun, it's worth the $$ you spend!
Go so me place else. All you are going to do is stand in lines most of the day.
Once you pay to get in the park, all the rides are free to ride!! You can stay at the park all day long. I would recommend to get the 2 park pass to enjoy both Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure!!
If they are annual passes or multi day passes they use your fingerprint to check the user, so in that case no, BUT it has been my experience that the fingerprint is only good for the annual passes because they will check IDs for the adult tickets now I have to re-do my fingerprints many times because they are not reliable. For single day passes is no issue but is a roll of the dice for mult-iday pass and a no-go for annual passes
Disney own Marvel movie studios not all the Marvel universe licensing, im sure sooner or later they will but until then Island of Adventure is safe to keep what they have
I am uncertain what you mean. If you are referring to the Theatre Magic store in William's of Hollywood at Universal Studios, it no longer exists. If you are referring to Ollivander's, it is in Islands of Adventure nearby where the Duelling Dragons/Dragon Challenge used to exist in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hogsmeade section. There is another Ollivander's in Universal Studios in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley section. If you are referring to Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, it also is in Universal Studios in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Diagon Alley section. It is a large purple and red building with and enormous animatronic man and is very difficult to miss.
A one day ticket will cost you $165 for park to park and $110 for a single park but if you go for multiple days it can be as little as $82 per day
If you stay at one of the on site hotels you get to enter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme area an hour before the park normally opens.
There's an app that'll tell you current wait times. We use it when we go and it's generally accurate. Otherwise we stay on-site and get express passes from the hotels.
It depends on her height. There the possibility of availing or not depends on the size. There's a whole wing that's aimed at children who can have their parents' accompaniment, like those carousels and little airplane from the playgrounds of the Interior, remember? I remember seeing a lot of people with strollers. Of course in the more radical options will get difficult. However, I remember a room on the Harry Potter roller coaster that would make it possible for one of the parents to have the child if he could not get in. Universal is a must see !!! I was there in November 2017.
It's to the left of the Hard Rock Café (when facing it from CityWalk). Look for the tall stone tower with the light beacon on top. Also if you happen to be inside Universal, you can get to IoA via the Hogwarts Express located inside Kings Cross Station.
You can pay to use one park only, but if you want to use both parks you pay a higher price, but it is not double - like $50 more. Go to the Universal website and you can see there are about 50 options to buy. 1 park 1 day, 2 parks 1 day, 2 parks 2 days, etc. And now there is the 3rd park - the water park - so like I said about 50 options...
Go early to avoid crowds and during the week. Weekends after 5 are very busy hours. And right now the Christmas stuff is going on and drawing extra family crowds
A day pass to islands of adventure is about 70. But you will want both parks. So close to 100 and parking is 20-30
Its cool if you don't mind waiting for an hour or more for a ride
Within Universal there are 4 hotels, from the cheapest one, the cabana bay, to the most expensive, which is the hard rock hotel ... The rates are above 120 $
Twister is no longer there! They replaced it with the Jimmy Fallon ride!
En Islands of Adventure!
Yes
What's the price
I clarify, they are very attentive, but the Google translator does not help you when you are in an attraction and they give you the indications and warnings only in English.
King Kong is pretty awesome. Because of the technology, it's a new thrill ride experience.
Although it is Disney & not Universal (easy done without thinking lol) if you look in/on I-Dr you may find a cheap alternative, have fun if going to the parks.
You can buy just about anything from the movies. From clothing to 'school equipment' and souvenirs
My Granddaughter loves it and has been coming here since she 6. She could not go on all the rides at that time due to height restrictions but she is 10 now and can go on all of them. There are some rides that she is too tall for now. They have something for everyone here. If a child enjoys Harry Potter, a two park ticket is ideAL because the Hogwarts Express is an awesome experience for any age.
Download the Universal Studios App! It's excellent!
Not a question but good for you, it's a blast
No, you may be able to exchange them but I doubt it
