Due to their being several packages for Florida residents and non residents, I would recommend you go online and verify. They have park hoppers and 1 or more day passes as well as the annual pass. Visit to the park is NEVER free unless you upgrade another ticket and I don't think ANY of the parks will cost you $500 for unlimited fast passes
There are lots of different packages available depending on how many days you're wanting to spend in the park. The fast passes are invaluable unless queuing is your idea of fun. If you stay in a Universal resort hotel you get fast passes included so its worth looking at which option works best for you

There are different packages depending on different park. If you have 1 day....i will suggest buy ticket for one park. It is around $110
If you buy the fastpass (recomendable) it's aroun 500$ per person (unlimited) and if you don't it's free
