Yes , except water ride's . In all fairness there doing a heck of a job enforcing rules , thumbs up to universal!!👍👍

Can I not wear a mask? Masks protect from object 300 nanometers or higher, and "covid virus" is 75 nanometers making masks useless against the thing it's supposed to prevent. Nevermind, I'm not going now.

Ron Brooks | Sep 8, 2020

Yes, wear it, you'll be fine

Kenyiria Castro | Mar 12, 2022

Well, I was wearing mine.

Ron woodard | Sep 8, 2020

On some of the rides we were allowed to take off the mask but for the most part had to keep them on. Me personally I took it off once the ride got started.

Brian Bobo | Sep 8, 2021

No

Joshua Jewell | Sep 8, 2020

All rides have different rules. Like if you cant wear a mask? They provide a face shield. Yet each ride has different rules, like mask should be worn if there is a lap bar. For the face shield, you got to sit in back for some rides.

Knorphe Byrd | Sep 8, 2020

Yes and if you take it off they will stop the ride!

Jennifer Baer | Sep 8, 2020

The only ride I was told I could remove my mask on was the Jurassic water ride. So everyone should be and employees and security enforce mask wearing at all times unless eating or drinking.

Jaylyn Knuckles | Sep 8, 2020

Yes masks are required the whole time you are in the park and on the rides. Water rides are allowing you to remove your masks for obvious reasons. You are also able to pull up or down your mask to eat or drink. There are constant reminders from the CDC being played over the PA systems to remind you to wear your masks.

stephen b | Sep 8, 2020

Yes indeed they are

Brenda Powell | Jul 10, 2022

As of lately, they no longer require a mask. They are leaving it up to an individual's choice if they would like to or not, using your own discretion. I do realize this question was originally asked a year ago so I figured I would update the answer.

Rue Stryker (LadyRue) | May 11, 2022

Newest update from April 2022, no masks required. Optional though many staff and guests still wear them :)

M Brown | Apr 11, 2022

No, masks are optional. Sanitizer stations are everywhere.

deborah perfidio | Sep 8, 2021

I’m here right now and no one is wearing masks anywhere this has to be an old question and answer form July 2021 no masks unless you choose to wear one

dawn terrigino | Sep 8, 2021

No one is wearing mask except for a few people. I was just there 2 weeks ago.

Raymond Albino | Sep 8, 2021

Mask is no longer required for visitors. Only for those who work in the parks.

K. Wright | Sep 8, 2021

I was surprised to see more masks than I anticipated when coming to the park. However, I’m still disappointed how inconsistent the mask requirements were on all rides. Even while waiting, you had the fools that didn’t listen and only some were reminded. The others just didn’t care. And the new 3ft social distance rule went out the window! I had to enforce it myself. I love this place and my daughter enjoyed the hulk ride. Wait time was only 30 mins. She had double masked and kept her hands clean and to herself.

Masks were enforced. We felt safe except while in the Harry Potter area, too many people so we just avoided it once we did the rides there. Really liked how they have each person use hand sanitizer before the rides.

Gerald Haskell | Sep 8, 2021

Not enforcing socal distancing at all. At one point they havld move a party right behind my party in line. Once on the park there is absolutely no way to social distance.

Nathan Keal | Sep 8, 2020

You must wear a mask at all times at the park, but if you're outside in a secluded area you can take it off to catch your breath. Then they said on the Jurassic Park ride I could take my mask off.

damien burnsed | Sep 8, 2020

Yes. Mask is required at all times except eating, drinking or riding any water rides. And from what I've experienced, the masks don't seem to fly off during rides like most would think.

Devon Bradford | Sep 8, 2020

All with the exception of the water rides. However, there are areas of the parks that are designated as mask free areas. For instance where the Gear Factor stunt show use to be (currently closed). They just ask you to maintain social diatancing.

Alberta Lyons | Sep 8, 2020

Yes, every ride requires masks except for water rides.

Georgette LaFreniere | Sep 8, 2020

We went today and had to wear masks on all rides

Romina Zamudio Zamudio | Sep 8, 2020

You need to wear the mask every ride

Darryl Keel | Sep 8, 2020

Yes..

Moon Berrii | Sep 8, 2020

They are required on majority of the rides, but not most of the water rides.

MegaWolf0 | Sep 8, 2020

On the water rides u don't have to but everywhere else we did

Claire Hoffman | Sep 8, 2020

During, probably all this summer, people are required to wear masks always throughout the park.

New Dawn Awakening | Sep 8, 2020

Yes they are. We did. Only at the waterpark are they not doing masks on rides
