What you call Harry Potter island is an expansion inside the studios. Universal orlando has 2 theme parks, island of adventure and universal studios. In island of adventure you have hogsmeade a fictional Harry Potter village and Hogwarts, the castle. And at universal studios you got diagonalley. There is the Hogwarts Express that takes you from one place to the other but you will need the 2 park tickets. I personally reccomend visiting island of adventure if you will only visit one because hogsmeade and hogwarts are bigger and have the better rides. Diagonalley from universal studios is new with new rides coming so jot only will it be packed but there are less rides.

Part of it is here, part of it is in Universal Studios. Hogsmeade and Hogwarts are here. Diagon Alley and Gringotts are in Universal Studios.

The HarryPotter attractions are in both parks, with the Hogwarts train connecting them. The larger one is in Islands of Adventure.
