It's hard to say "This is a nice shelter" but it is. In the small mid west town I lived in there was #TheDogPound I could hear the dogs barking across the street. Once upon a time this shelter was on the edge of town, no one could hear the dogs howling to be set free. There was a park next door. I found a litter of puppies left in the fenced play area. Beautiful fluffy puppies that no one wanted. Please do us all a favor and send some love to this shelter. I found out about them when I rescued a dog from a family member with other health concerns and couldn't afford one more mouth to feed. They have a pet food donation service for folks in need. Great volunteers and kind to all. The shelter it's self is very clean.

I went to the LA animal services chesterfield today and everyone there was so helpful and the experience was amazing! I adopted a little cat and honestly didn’t know what to expect, she was very shy but when she let me pet her in her kennel I knew she was special. I took her home and immediately she came out of her shell and she is literally the sweetest thing! Just goes to show how different animals can be when they start to trust, I highly recommend this place to adopt animals it is very well kept and the staff is fantastic!
Ingrid Jui
Normally I'd rate them 5 stars, but this time, I stopped by to donate some food, toys and blankets but was told they didn't need them, too bad. Did go to the North Shelter instead, and they were very grateful for the items.
Gemma Serenity Gorokhoff
They are a almost no-kill shelter! At least they don't euthanize dogs for lack of room. We saw dogs who are waiting to be rescued or adopted for 1 year! They are truly loving people and they truly care for animals. They do everything in their power to help our the animals that they are looking after. We still need people to come over and to pull them out so that these beautiful creatures can run free in the park and just be dogs 🐕 fully. So much love from the volunteers as well We absolutely love this place as a first responder and then we work tirelessly to pull them out and free the room for the next wave of dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals that make their way to this shelter.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
You should contact the shelter directly, Google maps questions won't help.
UPDATE The shelter no longer requires a surrender fee. They now will only ask if you can make a donation
Government shelters are all kill shelters ‼️‼️‼️ Do not surrender your dog to any shelter they are always at risk to be euthanized there is no guarantee and owener surrenders are out of time quicker. Please look into alternatives or if it’s for medical reasons contact the shelter for help while you still keep your dog 🙏 🙏 never surrender your dog to a shelter or abandon elsewhere ‼️‼️‼️ if you care enough please try to find him an adopter or contact a rescue first ‼️‼️‼️‼️
Yes, Visitors are welcome and staff is happy to assist you with the animals. We need blankets, good quality food and large play toys too. Thanks for your interest!
$122 Includes: Spay/Neuter Vaccinations License Microchip Voucher for a free vet exam They accept cash, check or credit
Yes but you have to be there like 5 to 5:30 in the morning becauce is a long line or if you can do appointment depending your zip code but try to call first.
Go to the shelter for a free coupon.
Go to this facility in person, take a tour of the kennel area and when you find the dog you are interested in adopting right down the animal identification number and take a picture of him/her if possible. Take them to an officer or to an animal care technician at the front counter. Fill out the paperwork, and pay the $122.00 adoption fee and they should tell you when he/her will be ready to go home with you. Good luck!
Animals of all sorts are turned in 24/7. There is a fast turnover too.
I have a lot of kittens you can have as many as you guys want for free I have all kinds of colors I need them out because I’m moving out and they don’t let me have pets
You won't be "legally" charged, so you won't be required to appear in court. However, you will most likely be asked to pay a "service fee" to the shelter. Keep in mind that Animal Services is a severely underfunded organization and they need the money to continue their mission.
They put a ship on my dog I pay $62dlls!
They will check your pet if you give it up. But if you plan to keep it then take it to a vet ( Animal hospital)! God bless
Yes, they accept reptiles. The shelter will accept virtually any homeless animals. They can even help with larger animals like horses. As always, best to call them first to get the ball rolling. 👍
I usually go to the south la shelter and they come from many places including Compton.
Yes, they charge $122.00 for each one of them. But in reality, they don't charge you for the dogs themselves they charge you for sterilizations vaccinations, microchips, and licenses, as well as vowchers to see a veterinarian within 3 days after coming out of the shelter. If the exams' results reveal that they have the kennel cough for example, you are going to have to pay for their treatments separately. I sincerely hope that this doesn't discourage you from adopting both of them before they are euthanized because of lack of space or of potential adopters. Pray to god for guidance and hope for the very best.
Yes and yes Cats cost $76 to adopt This includes: Spay/neuter Microchip Vaccines Voucher for a free vet exam Don't rush... Get the cat that works best for you
The person is right take no kill progrems be better
Yes they do take volunteers you just have to go to the front counter to request an application. Fill it out and they will let you know when they will have the orientation for the new volunteers, but if I were you I would read this facility's reviews first. Good luck volunteering in this very unique institution that has absolutely no regard for the pain and suffering of others!
You can find dogs of all breeds as far as I know and the adoption fee which includes sterilization, license, microchip, vaccines and the chance to take your dog to a veterinarian for a free exam within 3 days after the adoption is $122.00. In reality, they don't charge you for the dog, they just charge you for the services. I sincerely hope you find the dog of your choice, good luck!
You can go by and ask the L.A. Animal shelter. They have vouchers for everything your pets need to stay healthy...
Well as far as I know they don't vaccinate anyone for free, but you can ask someone at the front counter about the low cost vaccination clinics.
Well, in my personal opinion, I think you should contact the staff at the animal shelter as soon as possible because if you don't do that the cat might get euthanized at worst or adopted by someone else at best. If you really love your cat you should enlist the help of the shelter staff quickly not only because he has a microchip with your information, but also because you love him and are interested in his well-being. I hope they help you find him soon. Have a very happy life. Best regards, Miriam Leon
In my personal opinion, you should take the dog to the hospital or to the shelter so that animal care technician can take a look at the information on the microchip. But if he doesn't hat any microchip I suggest that you trust your motherly or sisterly instict and keep the dog, or if you don't want to keep him because you think he is not yours then give him up for adoption.
If your dog is old, YOU put it to sleep. Take your dog to any veterinarian and they will help you. Can you imagine at the end of your life, your children just put you in a concrete room with bars and never come back and make you stay there for months before someone comes to kill you? That is cruel. Don't give your dog to a shelter after it has given you all the love it has to give, all it's life. If you love a dog, you love it for life. If it's the end of it's life, it's your responsibility to be there with it in the end. Don't abandon your dog in the time it needs you most.
Go looked Google Or map can find where the address & phone #
Why dont you put it in the lake in a park theres more turtles
Thats just wrong next time tell her its not your and you found a lost pet i dropped one that I found and they did the same thing
It's free. If you can't get the voucher , make the appointment, show up and they will take care of it . I couldn't access the voucher and it was no problem .
Yes they do but when you take a stray in you got to explain that it's not yours because they charge to take in animals
You should report it to the main office, not here. Because if what you are saying is true it should not be tolerable for any reason. Whoever the worker is, it is not professional to say those things. Whether true or not. Thank you for your honesty and warning.
They're so many full grown pit bulls at this location in need of a home
Yes you should come check out the dogs available, there are many suitable for your needs.
They have a website where you can see the dogs that are lost or the dogs that are in adoration. Maybe there you can find it
Does anyone have a contact number or email that I can get in contact with you about the kitties 😊
All available dogs are listed on their website. If they don't have any, check out Hands Paws Hearts Rescue. They have lots of puppies pretty regularly.
This animal shelter us set up very well. Animals are clean, kennels are clean. Very friendly employees, but they are very busy. I wish that I had a ranch/farm and I could take ALL of them to it. It breaks my heart to see them caged. 😢, but at least they are being well taken care. Please adopt and don't buy.
I guess so
Yes, any volunteer work for a gov't organization should give you hours.
Over 4 months FREE
call the toll free number it gives the option to speak to a live person and they will transfer you to Chesterfield
Hi James, Yes, depending on what you would like to donate (time, money, toys, blankets), I would suggest you contact the shelter and ask what they need most as it varies based in the time of year. Thank You!
Yes there are adoption fees. Sometimes they have discounted adoption fees though.
Yes, you can volunteer. There's is a volunteer training that you have to take first.
It is open on the weekend.
They don't take any more animals cats or dogs You need to take them to the animal shelter on Western and Slauson Avenue behind home depot and do charge a little amout to take animals
No, just go in and vuew tge cars and doggies
I will check and see
No but if you find out let me know
I lost one at Harvard Av.
It's free with 50 dollar coupon
Absolutely! Please bring puppy as soon as conveniently possible. He/She could be suffering from fleas, malnutrition, or other ailments. The sooner he gets treatment, the better. Thank you for being a helpful & responsible person.
Yea bring it to the shelter....or take it out of her misery...your choice
The animal shelter in Los Angeles does have kitten's. But don't wait to long because they will be gone. Try the location off of Western & 65 or 66? Try google!
16 yrs old with orientation at least twice a month at each center...
They are open from 8am-5pm Tuesday-saturday and from 11am-5pm On Sunday. They are closed on Mondays. Also, they have an emergency 24hour "Emergency Service" available via an intercom at the location.
Yes, you can. They will accept your guinea pigs free of charge, but if possible, please try to find them a good home first.
I really like that dog available states how old are I want to adopt
Around $17.00
Yes
I strongly suggest that you go straight to this facility's front counter and ask one of the staff members if he is stil available for adoption. If possible, go to the kennel area and see if you can stil find him ther, hopefully he has not been euthanized or adopted out or reunited with his family. If you find him write down the animal identification number and take a photo of him if possible. Take them to someone at the front counter, fill out the paper work, pay the $122.00 for the adoption fee and they should tell you when he can go home with you. Good luck to you and your family!
I'm not a 100% sure. I believe they do offer a senior discount but I'm not sure about a disabled person discount.
Ask the volunteer supervisor, also known as the volunteer liaison about the shirt. As a general rule, when you pay for these shirts they arrive at the shelter and this person is supposed to give them to the volunteers who purchase them. Good luck volunteering for this very unique company that has absolutely no mercy for the pain and suffering of others! Their former volunteer liaison made fun of me for being blind. She pulled my shades and demanded to see my eyes countless times and when I reported her to the captain they callously got rid of the blind one after 4 and a half years of volunteering with them! She also put herself in front of me to make me trip on purpose! She did these things to test my reaction!
That depends on what you want to do here. If you want to apply for a job they might require that you have at least your green card. But to volunteer or to adopt a pet I don't think you have to be a resident. To make sure this is correct I strongly suggest that you go to the front counter of this facility and speak to someone. They open tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. or go to their website for more information. Good luck!
I'm sure they have blues and reds come through all the time. But they have a ton of beautiful pitbulls as well as many many many other type of dogs looking for a real home.
I am not really sure but I strongly suggest that you go to the shelter in person and speak to someone at the front counter or go to their website for more information. Good luck and I sincerely hope that they help you find what you are looking for soon!
Surrendering a dog generally involves a fee. Speak with the shelter about your situation, they may have options.
YES YOU CAN ALTHOUGH YOU'LL STILL HAVE TO PAY $25 OR THE BEST THING IS TO TELL THEM ITS A STRAY THEN THEY JUST TAKE THE PET
Yes they do have licencing here for $20 but your dog has to be spayed and has to have his/her rabies shot and you have to bring evidence of it.
If they accept kittens from the street but never tell them that you fed them for a certain amount of time because they may think they were sullos and they may charge you for coming to leave. But if I said that they do not belong to anyone, they will not charge a fifth for abandoning them here.
If you can take, just call before.
Calendar years, so if they say the dog is 2 years old, it was born in 2015. These ages are usually an educated guess. Advice on deciding on an age is look at your life and why you want a dog. Young dogs and puppies may not be trained or socialized well, they will take a lot of work. Older dogs are usually house trained, and set in their ways. Young dogs make great "blank slates" to train your way, but take a lot of work. Older dogs might come with a couple bad habits but make great companion dogs. Depending on breed they can be excellent protectors.
Not to long a hour
Take her to the shelter here and there she is referred to a low-income clinic is 1850 w 60th dt. THE. AC. 90047 I have mine there and I am very satisfied x my low resources God cares for her
I strongly suggest that you take a picture of him with you to the front counter of this facility and ask whoever is there if they have seen him or post fliers with his photo and all his information on stop signs and on the doors of veterinary clinics in the area. Another option would be to visit other shelters to see if they have him there. Pray to god for guidance.
Do you pick up chicken
As far as I know their is a wide variety of dogs in all sizes, you just have to go directly to the shelter or go to their website often to see if you can find the dog of your choice soon. Good luck!
I am not really sure how much they charge to adopt a hamster but I suggest that you go directly to the shelter and speak to someone at the front counter or go to their website for more information. Good luck to you!
~$120 go to their website they might have ongoing specials.
I suggest that you go directly to the shelter often and take a close look at all the kennels or go to their website to see if they have some of these puppies available. Good luck!
I would suggest that you come to the shelter and check often by asking the staff at the front counter or by taking a look at all the kennels to see if you can find the dog you are interested in adopting. You can also ask one of the officers here, he or she might be able to help you. But preferably ask one of the animal care technicians for help.
Come in when we first open for the best selection
No, there is no fee
Free s/n vouchers available at LA Animal Services. Com - go to vouchers free / discount Only for LACity Residents. Ps Cats are not stray if you are feeding it .

Adoption dogs @ cats are free for the next few days. LAAnimal Services. Com .
Isnt there a crisis where dogs don’t get walks for months? Wft
Hi you can call them and ask them.
I just went up there. If you want to adopt or view animals you have to set an appointment unless its the weekend.
Check the website. They have 4 locations, if they found the dog, there should be a picture. Good luck. Hope doggie returns safely.
Yes the pet adoption can take them away & u have to called them first & talk about that u have bunch of cats.
I'm sure they can help. Hit them up to more specifics.
I think so but call first to make an appointment
They have rabbits, so I think they can take guinea pigs too. Call to be sure
You'd have to check the website at laanimalservices.com to see all of the available dogs. There is adoption fees I think its about $150 for puppies and $120 for older dogs.
You can view adoptable animals on the web site. Then go to shelter. They are limiting access but still actively placing animals
Yes they do
Yes they do but you're must have ur vaccine card to get in to the office
Yes, they accept cats. However, if you aren't rushed for time, try nextdoor.com and typically someone will take your cat and give them a good home.
You could only drop her off if your from that area
How do we get this vouchers ? Or where do we go for free vaccinations?
You need to call to shelter
I understand that if the puppy is a puppy he has to pay $ 150 but if he is older than 4 months he pays $ 122, I adopted one 10 days ago. But they go with their vaccines, spay or neuter, also dewormed, and with flea treatment. And they deliver it to you with a license and chip which you must activate later. The truth is that if it is worth adopting because it frees you from all those expenses, besides that they need a home, we are very happy with ours, they deliver it very clean and with their haircut :) you have to make an appointment in advance , it is better to do it online.
Money if it's a dog or cat that's under 6mos. Other than that, your ID oh yeah cat's are free like I said if there under 6mos. Or if you want the same pet, then it's up for auction and you'll have to pay what you bid!! All dog's are $120. ....hope this helps.
I very sorry about that
No they just ask for your id and a fee
They didn't wanna give me my dog back
You can take them to any animal shelter and tell them you can't keep them They will take them.
No , you must call and set an appointment 🤳
They have all sorts of ages for cats and dogs just call them up before you go there to see if they have the kind of breed you want
If you adopt a dog or cat the " "FIXING " is Free Instead of a puppy or Kitty and the fee is only $61.oo
Nothing there wild life animal shelter don't take possums
They can't hold dogs from being adopted depending on the temperament of the dog they will work to find the dog a new home and the shelter by law can't hold the dog for you but if you decide once your out to see if your dog is still there go online to south los angeles animal shelter and go under adopt a dog and it will have the dogs pictures and the animal ID number you can look for your dog and get the dog back. But I would suggest you contact them because you can't just show up. Its appt only
Try to figure out how old they are. They may have to be bottle fed. When they are at least two months old you should be able to find homes for them.
It does take awhile to get through thanks to the virus. Just be patient.
You suck
Not really sure about the cost. Should not be more than $ 100.00.
Call them first. I'm not sure if they have those.
Call they will give you an appointment
It stays in. If your pet ever gets lost, that's what will help you, if they're taken to a shelter.
They do have puppies sometimes, but you have to check their website to see if there's any available.
open the limk then go to adopt a dog and it will show you what dogs are available for adoption. you then call and make an appt if you catch in an interest in any. https://www.laanimalservices.com/
True they are illegal in CA, but you can get them in las Vegas
Best way put lolita & manda
What is wrong with him/her? I may be able to take him/her if it is not serious. Can you text me where you live.
You have to make an appointment to get ur pet...
Not only to leave animals that people abandom😔
You need to make an appointment to do anything there.
It should be open every day except sunday and monday, but yes you need an appointment. I would recommend picking out several animals on their website beforehand, writing down their animal ID numbers, and then calling. The phone number is listed on the website, but it is a single number that routes to all of the animal shelters so you may be on hold for some time. You can then make an appointment.
All animals are sterilized before they are adopted out
I don't think so.
Typically they expect you to bring a hard sided pet carrier to take your new pet home in. This is something you should have as a cat owner anyhow in the event you need to take them to the vet or you need to transport them. If there is a natural disaster or fire, having a carrier is crucial to get your pet to safety as well. You can get one for less than $30 at any pet store 👍
You can call to make an appointment to see a specific animal you are interested in adopting. All animals currently available are posted on their website 👍
If you have time give them a call, not sure if hamster's would be taken in....
No but my dog was there and it was hard to find u it took me to 3 different places
Adult Cats (4 months and older)FREE (Waived adoption fee provided by the ASPCA) Kittens (Under 4 months)FREE (Waived adoption fee provided by the ASPCA) http://www.laanimalservices.com/adopt/adoption-fees/
Zero Free for now ASPCA is paying all fees for cats
Yes you do and if they don't have any ASPCA might.
Hello, I'm a volunteer. They do accept hamsters and other types of rodents! :)
Hello, I'm a volunteer myself and I can help you out with this question. If you want to become a volunteer then you can go on to our website, go to the volunteer section of it and find the form you'll need to fill out to become one, here is the link that will take you straight to the volunteer section of our website: http://www.laanimalservices.com/volunteer/ If you happen to be an adult then fill out the application for adults, if you happen to be a minor then fill out the application for minors. You will soon get an email to attend an orientation, you will receive a list of orientation dates available and the locations where the orientations will be held. After you've attended an orientation then you will receive an email with your volunteer pin which you will use to sign in every time you go to volunteer at the shelter. I hoped that I helped with answering your question. If you have any more questions then feel free to ask! :)
Can you go in to see the puppies?
I'm not sure just call
Yes you can and also the other animals that are there and you also get to have one on one time with a dog you think you might want before you take it home.
That you are of age and you feel good care
It only depends on the animal you are going to adopt
You should leave him at this shelter. A neighbor told me they don't euthanize animals. You should visit and ask them there.
No. A "no-kill" shelter is an animal shelter that does not kill healthy or treatable animals even when the shelter is full, reserving euthanasia for terminally ill animals or those considered dangerous to public safety. - Wikipedia
Be patient try giving him water or food. He's probably just scared or call the aspca
Answer: you can buy / adopt a dog or cat here. Answer: You can buy / adopt a dog or cat here.
I believe so. As long as the information is valid and up to date. They ask for ID anyway so I don't know if they'll accept it as proof of address since it's already proof of identity. You should call to make sure first, that'll be very helpful.
You should try visiting to check if they have one
You would have to go in person for that I believe and once you're there they will guide you with the steps for all paperwork. And there is a fee to have your pet registered. I am not quiet sure how much but there's a fee for sure.
Notify your local Shelter, they will lead you to the possibility of working animals
Im not sure but if you call them directly they can give all the information you need
They probably ask for a donation of around $25. Good Luck.
If I can give the information of the other person
I noticed a very large black and white cat was there. Didn't notice name and I'm not that sure about breed. You can always call front desk. Good luck 👍
I am not sure.but with your ID and a good reason for surrendering the dogs they will work with you..
You don't pay when you surrender. You can surrender and get first rights to adopt if you want. Adopting is 122.00
No
Sorry to know you can't keep your fur babies anymore. I believe the dogs must be taken in but you can still call or visit their website if you would like a more accurate answer.
Yea it sounds great they could use the help they also need stuff for the animals I you have any or know someone...
A week after
Yes take her to animal recieving at the shelter
You can foster them until they are old enough to be adopted.
No. That is offered only on special occasions.
You can leave it in the shelter so you don't want it.
You can leave the dogs here as an owner surrender
I'M not have ideas if you can leave them, but if the animals are already registered they have to pay 22 dollars for each one
I am not sure. Sorry.
I know the better is a vet. But my questions is because I rescue the cat but her conditions are very bad. I bought medications but I want to know if the shelter may be support me with medications or another one thing for better Conditions and healthy. the little cat come to my house from street i want just to know if they can help me. Thank you
But they give the address of an economical animal hospital.
No
You all are kind individuals to not just leave your animals on the street. So don't feel bad for to long they are safe
You don't have to pay to leave stray animals
You can go to their office and they. Can give you a boucher and it can bee free. It all depends on the zip code you stay 2.
Yes
Take it there 👍 don't abondon it . They do good work. They can at least point you the right way.
No thank you
You can volunteer. There's an online application to submit.
You would need to drop it off at the shelter.
Yes
The cost of a cat or dog goes by the age/weeks the pet is. Sometimes they have a special based on how long the pet has been at the shelter also. I paid 102 my toy was 2 years old.
Nope
Yeah, you can drop off the cat.
You can arrive without making an appointment6
I don't now you have to call or visit the place to information
You can look online for dogs that have been turned in.
Yes, but it takes a lot of paper work If the dog is under 2 years, you have to pay for them If not, they are free
Call to verify
They do
It's best to check online and search by age...inventory changes daily here
You would drop of your pet at 7am and pick them up by 3pm.
Shelters are just for that when you're ready to give them up. Go to the one on Sepulveda west Los Angeles. Plus they're are a no kill shelter. They are well funded.
Call in the morning to verify
Since the shelter in Downey is in county jurisdiction it's open 7 days a week now.
Go to the main building at the shelter, first doors on the left but your dog must be up to date in vaccines and you must have documentation proving it.
Bring it in to the shelter. They'll scan it for a microchip and if no owner is found they'll put it up for adoption
Yes they show up.
Yes Also I did Like a zoo
Oh ok thank you so much
Yes you can
I've been to this shelter several times and there's always several there! Only way to be for sure is to visit the shelter.
You may surrender all of them for no cost ..why not try to sell them or give them away first..but pound won't cost to surrender them
I think you to take the dog in because they only pick up dead animals
I dont think so. You should take it to the south la shelter at 60th and western. Please save its life!
I'm not sure, but call before you go there. I went there looking for a full breed of dog, but fell in love with a mixed pup thats so cute
Yes, this link might help you too. http://www.laanimalservices.com/general-information/spay-neuter/
Yes the cat can be brought into the shelter. There is no fee we only ask for a donation if possible, but not required. Also provide behavior info you have for the cat to help future adoptors. You will also need a sign an owner surrender form that you are turning in your pet.
Depending on the type of animal and its category if it says first come first take if you can take it if they do not go to a type of auction
Just answers to general information dog's name the owner's name and depends on what you need if it's shots or spayed and neutering sometime they have free clinic
If they allow you pick them up and place into a carrier, you can bring them in. Its 24/7 drop off services, just have a form of ID (drivers license, passport or car registration works). If they are feral, you can either shoo them out and block the spots they are able to get under your house by to keep them out or if there is a cat problem, you can go into the shelter and request a trapping permit so you can borrow a trap for $50 deposit and legally trap them and bring them in. You get your money back after bringing the trap back. Feral cats are free roaming in the city of LA so the officers wont go out and pick them up and they dont usually recommend you bring them into the shelter. There is probably a food source for them to be coming back to your house so if you or anyone is feeding them, it has to stop or else it'll be an endless cycle of cats coming to your house.
They generally hold them for 7 days from the day they call or send you a letter. Make sure your chip info is up to date with current info. If you don't redeem them before the hold period is up, they will become available for public to adopt them. Dont forget to go to your local vets and leave fliers there in case someone finds your dog and tries to keep it.
They adopt them out after their holding period. Adoptions are generally $122 for anything over 4 months which includes vaccines, spay/neuter, microchipping and a license if you live in the city of LA. ($102 without license if you're not in the city of LA). Any puppy 4 months and younger will be $150/$170 (with license)
Yes. Stop by the shelter, which is down the hall, first. You'll usually need to do this the day before
Deanna, take the dog ID information to the Shelter.
Yes! They are fairly cheap rates! Not sure about a dog, but i just paid 50 for a kitten, and i would presume rodents and reptiles are even cheaper!
Yes you can. Good luck
Not sure you should call them and ask
Yes, you can. Its a free exchange within 10 days.
Come in

Yes of course you can take it there to that place
They rescue any dogs. Help it and turn it over. LA city is no kill. At least call the SPCA.
I believe they do, but an organization called stay cat alliance usually stays there by the entrance and helps stay cats, try seeing if a member is there and talk to them about the situation.
I don't think so.
Ask LA animal services. I know they have referral sheets in at the shelters.also, ask the ASPCA
I don't think so, but you can try turning it in? They have a pigeon enclosure at the shelter so they should be willing to take it in
LA Animal Shelters are "no kill." They is only a $25 fee to surrender a dog. All are put up for adoption. Rescue organizations, Humane Society, and the ASPCA are also options, too.
They have an assortment of animals always different breeds you would have to go and visit. And yes there is a fee. Call to find out what it is
Call LA Animal Services.Theyll take a report, contact the owner, and get back to you for investigation. They may send an animal control officer out right away if it were an "imminent threat." If there were an attack, call 911.

Depending if you live in Los Angeles, you might qualify for free services. Someone is on site there and can refer you. We got both our cats done. Good luck.
I would believe the minimum age should be 16 I would advise to call them and ask questions and maybe ask if you need a work permit
No you have to call animal services
You may want to try the humane society in Pasadena on raymond ave. The only prob is you have to lie and say you found the kitten near by.
Sorry for your loss adopting another pet would be a great way to cherish your memory of your loved one I believe the fee is around 120 which is great because they will have their immunizations and should be ready to go good luck

you may only drop off animals during the hours of operation, 9am to 4pm. there is no after-hours drop-off at his location. Please keep the animal safe, dry, and with food & water until you an bring the cat safely in during the day.
Yes, but call for the price.
Kittens cost is basically the cost of the shots & treatment, about $40. You should consider an adult cat, who requires a lot less training and expense. Kittens will need litter box training and taught to not claw your furniture, not to mention need to be spayed/neutered once it is old enough. Adults are already trained, spayed/neutered, and fewer problems. Just thought I'd put that out there.
That is not better to call and ask, or go personal
The selection of available dogs, puppies, cats and kittens varies from month to month. Best to call or check the website first.
Go to the shelter.they will help you .and for immunization you have to take your pet to a veterinarian.
As far as I know you don't have to be a resident of the United States to adopt a pet or to volunteer here. But just be verry careful if you decide to volunteer here because if one of their staff members picks on you and you complain to the authorities they will get rid of you the volunteer and applaud their employee for whatever he/she did to you.
Right now any kittens to 4 months are free. Only while the program has funds.
One more thing how much would it b the fee an the rest
Yes
Anyone in the world can adopt an animal at this shelter, but they must afoot in person and be responsible for the transport back. Only requirements to adopt are a government issue picture ID (or passport) and the adoption fee.
Look at the kennel card on the cage. The date above the photograph tells you when they become available. I would recommend you photograph it so you won't forget.
