We came here to look for a cat last March and left with our sweet boy who we renamed Pounce! We love him more than life and he is the same age as the other cat. I love the open, cageless concept of this shelter. The cats looked very happy and the more antisocial ones had plenty of space to themselves. We told one of the employees what we were looking for and found Pounce hiding in a cat tree, the employee was able to tell us about his personality. I was surprised such a sweet, special cat had been there for 5 years! When we decided we wanted to adopt, we had to spend 30 minutes playing with Pounce to make sure he was a proper fit. He brings so much joy to our lives and I am so happy we went to Pet Pride. If anyone plans to visit, call ahead and ask if they need any donations! It’s good to give back to these amazing cats and people!

These people work very hard to give the cats the best possible shelter life they can. Ideally all cats would be in a loving home, but for those that aren't, places like these are a God send and sadly there's not enough of them. As for the intake prices I don't blame them a bit. Certain colors ans ages are hard to rehome unfortunately. And, It can cost hundreds if not thousands to medically care for one cat in its lifetime. Not to mention food, litter etc. That's the very reason so-called owners abandon them or leave them in the street. The cost and sacrifice many aren't willing to make--especially after the kitten becomes an older cat. It's a commitment that should be taken seriously. For the life of the pet. Not just when it's convenient. These organizations do the best they can. They don't get enough credit, glory or help and are taken for granted by the very people that seek to dump their cats on them.

Rodrigo and the crew are the best! Very knowledgeable about each and every cat's history and needs. The cats are well cared for and well nourished. A great place to adopt a feline or just hang out and provide some necessary companionship for the cats. Highly recommend!

This place is immaculate. I cannot believe how clean they keep a cat shelter. All of the cats are adults, but so sweet. And the man that greeted me was so kind and respectful to give us space to see the cats. Lovely place

a question could my cat donate
There is a charge for accepting cats.
Do you still want a cat ? I have kittens i cant keep i would like to give em away before taking them anywhere else
Yes. You just have to visit with the kitties for a minimum of an hour,, decide which one's personalities are your favorites, and say goodbye to those cats the most before you leave.
Best thing to do is check out yourself
I have kittens if u looking for one let me know free n ill take it to you i have kittens i cant keep
No strays only spayed or neutered cats whose owner can't keep them anymore.
No, Stephany. All cats had owners who just couldn't keep them any longer. All cats must be spayed or neutered to be taken in by Pet Pride.
No kittens, sorry. All the cats at Pet Pride are spayed or neutered. But give them a call and Rodrigo will be happy to refer you to local shelters with kittens.
Yes, but you have to drop off some cash along with the cat. Don't know what the charge is now. Call or check website.
