As far as I know you stil pay $122.00 when you adopt a dog, but you don't pay for the dog himself. In reality, you pay for all the services that are included in the adoption process such as spay or nueter, vaccination, microchipping, licensing, and a vowcher to take him to the doctor of your choice within 3 days after he is released from the shelter. But if it turns out that he is sick you have to pay out of your pocket for his treatment. I sincerely hope that you find the baby of your choice and give him a forever home very soon. Good luck!

I think you either make a donation to A.S.P.C.A or you pay for the vaccinations, rabies and to have fixed if necessary.
