A must place to visit…. Free sightseeing place to roam around and explore… Hours are different in google… They are open till 10PM ( We were told by an employee working there) We had city pass to redeem at Centennial wheel. Which saved us sometime… Centennial wheel was amazing… very nice for people to look around the surroundings and beautiful Lake Michigan Navy pier is a huge area.. more than 5 mile if we just walk around… Lot of food options, restrooms available, scenic views, a place to view fireworks for free when scheduled, Gift shops available, different rides for adults and kids are available…. and many more things to do… Ship docker/anchors with lot of party boats are seen…

Beautiful in the day time and even more beautiful at night. We visited on the weekend and it’s a place for everyone to walk, hangout, eat, relax, ride the Ferris wheel and lots to do. It gets packed and busy but fun for sure. I recommend this place.. one of the must visit in Chicago places. Fire work show was awesome as well it was not a disappointment. Was worth staying there till 10pm.

Went to Chicago for the day to celebrate my birthday! It was a great time. I can't wait to go back there! So much to see and do. We went on the Skyline Lake Tour; this is reasonably priced per person...this was great and relaxing!

Great place to enjoy and admire the skyline of Chicago. Navy Pier has many attractions, but the main one is the wheel which lets you observe the city from a high altitude and without any crowds. The stores inside are really good. There are plenty of restaurants of different kinds and different stores. Walking outside makes you feel why Chicago is called the Windy City.

As of 6/21/19, 1 hour is 15, up to 1.5 hours is 25, up to 2 hours is 30, up to 6 hours is 35, up to 12 hours is 40, up to 24 hours is 50
They have a blue Kiosk by the sea dog I believe. They book your flight at the pier and then send you to their facility and bring you back to the pier! It is a great experience
I could not see any, it was very cold outside.
That's why I take CTA and Metra everywhere!
9:30 pm Wednesday’s 10:00 pm Saturday’s Weather permitting From May 21 to September 1
The wheel is the only outdoor ride that is open all year
Kinda sorta expensive to. But bargain shop, that's what we did. Bubba Gump Shrimp was the best on prices. Food and novelties.
Call
You dont need any permits. Just have fun.
Only ticket would be to the Ferris Wheel you purchase on site. Pier is a free walk on.
There's a huge ferris wheel similar to the London Eye. As others have said there's tons of activities to do in Navy Pier. And fireworks is on Wednesdays at 9:30 pm and Saturdays 10:15 pm from Labor day weekend to memorial day weekend. You can get a close up of the lake without thr Beach. Boat tours, children's museum, and recently they have a rotating prism with lights outside the navy pier.
Free to enter and look but expect to spend a lot if you want to do anything
Navy Pier offers mobility services to disabled visitors upon request!
The millennium station is the closest, i believe, though about a mile away. There is a free trolley that gets to the pier entrance but im not sure if it goes close by to the station
Yes u have to buy coupons for the games. WEDNESDAYS is half off
Yes, for kids it is. You have great rides, food joints and playing/fun spot. Although there isn't much for adults.
No free parking. Otherwise free to enter and walk around.
You can buy parking tickets online for $ fifteen for twelve hours. I'm sorry, I don't speak much Spanish.
Yes
I'm not sure about their holiday hours. With it being so far away I'm not sure they would have that info online. Your best bet is to probably call and ask.
Adults are $18 Children 3 to 11 are $15 Children under 3 are free Military is $15
general admission means you get to enter the building and explore what they have to offer. You will have to rent your own skates to hit the ice tho.
No. But there are some seafood places. Try Bubba Gump.
Yes. At 9:30 pm.
Bubba Gump Restaurant. A court yard of many restaurants. McDonald's also
To the North East or west of Navy Pier. Not that far from the lake (Michigan). There're plenty of reasonable places you could stay at. Cheers
Admission is free. Rides and parking are not. Parking is $28 per day, which is ok if you are going to spend a whole day or close to it. It is expensive for short visits. Food prices are comparable to Chicago downtown.
There isn't one. The closes Mburger I know of is about 1mile away on E. Huron St
Just the ferris wheel is open right now
I don't think so. But Contact corporate office to be sure.
No they have inside attractions----they r doing construction right now
It is free to just walk around but they have rides boat tours stores food courts n etc that do cost money
They are usually open tomorrow.
Of course you can take the train, but the nearest station is some distance away. I think Grand (Red Line) is the closest, the Metra is much further.
They are allowed outside but not in any of the stores, restaurants, or shops!
Yes
They are temporarily closed at this time.
I'm under the impression that I will not be open the rest of the year. Hopeing that it will be open in the spring.
Yes, and the boat rides are great!
Yes, you can walk around and also you can take a boat tour if you wish.
There is no public parking in the place only for pay but it is worth it. I recommend those that are under the facilities because those that are x the entrance are much more expensive.
No admission fee. You do have to pay for the attractions
Navy Pier is open and you need to wear a mask
Not much is open besides the two boat tourism options which are the speedboats or sailboats. There are outdoor liquor vendors, snack vendors and a couple of restaurants with outdoor seating only.
You can find different kind of things. It all depends on what you may be looking for, like they have a Build-A+Bear Work Shop, and a full Candy Store, coffee shop ECT... You get my meaning. There is something for everyone, just go and have fun.
there is a permit system however with the construction going on you would have to speak to your employer
From downtown Naperville, take the BNSF [Burlington Northern Santa Fe] train towards Chicago (Union Station), and then take a quick cab/uber ride to Navy Pier.
So, go already.
Yez.. u can buy them there and also you will be able to get the centennial wheel tickets also in the price that's what I got when I went there and purchase my tickets at the desk I don't know if they would do it for you online but in person they did it and it is good until March of next year 😁😀
I believe so. In the past I purchased attraction tickets off of Groupon.
You can park near soldier Field and take a walk or a taxi to the pier
It is a designated no-fly zone according to the DJ Mavic website.
No problem walking around. However the boardwalk and some other areas may be closed after hours.
Sorry. Nothing I can do.
I think sat was the last day for fireworks from what I saw in the event book
Free to get in. Costs for some attractions like the wheel.
In front of the Pier
I never heard of a curse of any kind. But there may be evening/night cruise on the lake. Call for information.
Tuesday special parking $20. For 12 hours, just need validation on your parking slip.
AirBnB
Depends on what activities you are talking about. The pier itself is free admission but there are some activities you can spend probably upward of 100 dollars on.
This might help. https://navypier.org/free-outdoor-movie-series-water-flicks/
Lots of people get pictures done there. Unless you need some fancy setup, no extra cost.
No cost to get in. However, some features cost extra.
$30 parking on pier, $15 ferris wheel, .50 cent miniature boat driving... I think we paid $3-$5 swing ride... eating and dining between $5 -$50 depends on what you're eating nice place and view. Just think the parking on the pier should be cheaper
What you mean
Not sure about lunch but we did get a boat ride that has bar.
It depends on where you park your car. Prices are not the same and range from $20-$35.
Navy Pier is open all year round
The wheel is open. There are also some rowing video things people were using the other night.
I've heard the architecture tour is awesome, they take you all along the river and just talk about historic architecture.

No ticket is required.
Yes Navy pier is open Christmas day they are having some fireworks
All.kinds of things to so for kids at winter fest from blow up slides to rides to ice skating and cookie decorating its amazing for little ones
Sorry. I am not sure
They have all the decorated pier for Christmas I think it's called winter wonderfest! And if it's at the Navy Pier in Chicago. It looks beautiful in the photos but it's not all via. This will continue until December 6 or 7!
Maybe you could take a virtual tour of the area for the name. I don't think I recall names of stores there. Good luck!
Yes the remodeling in the front is completed and a couple of new restaurants have opened. The shops are all open as well as imax theater
You can buy it on spot
If your bringing a charter please look into the following: http://www.chicagoparkdistrictparking.com/bus-parking/
Go by bus, there's a bus stop right outside the main entrance. Parking is too way expensive.
Not fully, but restaurants are ready, in progress the hotel
If they are with an adult they can
At the Centennial Wheel, you get your photo taken by Photogenic before you go to the gondola. After you ride the Wheel, you are asked to check out your photos that you got from the Photogenic team. If you want to buy it, OK. If not, move on and have a good day.
Yes , but at certain times ,check the schedule, and enjoy the show ...
Free to enter
Yes they are
Yes you can
Well you can go to the place for free but if you want to get on the rides you have to buy tickets l. Ferris wheel is 18 dollars per person. If you want to go multiple times you can get the unlimited pass for 40. You can use it on all the rides all day long.
There are parking garages and parking on the side of street. No open lots nearby that I saw.
Navy Pier is free, but you need to find parking or take public transit.
Maybe 10pm
If you want to get thing at least bring $50 to spead completely, the ferris wheel-$18 the mirror maze(really fun)-$10 , if you wanna get on boat cruises bring a lot of money ($200-400) or you could just walk around and buy food . Its a lot you can do either if your broke or have a lot of money
They have special cruises during the show with different length, boats and events onboard. Ferries to Museum Campus stop operating earlier than fireworks
Yes, paid, it's easier to get dropped off there, ride a bike or walk then get parking.
Additional rate of ??
The speedboat half hour ride is nice if you like speed and don't mind getting alittle wet
Not an answer to your question but the best spots to watch the fireworks are Navy Pier itself, Oak Street Beach (approx no. 1000 N Lake Shore) or on one of the boat cruises
Yes! Dogs are welcome on the south dock and even at many of the patio restaurants. Only service animals are allowed indoors.
No
not in that area, there is a specific area of beach, on lakeshore
Regular tickets are 16 but you have to wait in long lines at times. Fast pass tickets are $26 but take you to the front of the line. Buy your tickets online at the Navy Pier website so that you can avoid the lines to purchase tickets.
no zoo at the navy pier. it is at the Lincoln Park and it is free
It is free. And still some construction. But a couple of the stores are open now. If u want to take the big bus tour its $40-$50 but should wait for that until its warmer out. Took family from Florida on the tour and it was cold
That is an unfortunate bit of misinformation about Chicago. First of all, Downtown Chicago is a separate space from inner city Chicago. Even inner city Chicago is not so rampant & overrun with gang activity that people can't travel safely on the street. Don't believe everything you hear. It's a problem, but this is not done kind of war torn area. Not to mention that violence has been steadily decreasing anyway. We still have work to do, but plenty areas of Chicago are perfectly safe.
If you mean closest hotles near by here is the answer : Fairmont Chicago, Hilton, congress Plaza, Marriot
There are indoor food shops, but the Ferris wheel is outdoors as well as the actual pier itself
Best place to eat would definitely be Giordanos. Not sure when it comes to shopping, I didn't see many options when I was there.
I did not see any when i was there last month. However, i saw ramps and elevators that are easily accessible.
The best will be to check the marshmallow webpage
We did go to the guest service and they gave me a bogus number that isn't available. And also being a tourist from out of state you normally would go online first.
Treat yourself and pay the extra $2.50. You're worth it.
Navy Pier once housed a prison for draft dodgers during World War I. “Municipal Pier” was renamed “Navy Pier” in 1927 as a tribute to the Navy personnel who served in the war.During World War II, the U.S. Navy used the Pier as a training center for pilots. One of those pilots who qualified for military service was George H. W. Bush. (Via the Navy Pier website)
Sorry they do not care about old people
It's free just what you go to buy or consume and the ride you choose is the cost
No
Not really 5 dallors for five minutes 10 and 15 for 30 min and 20 for 2 hours
With Chicago's mass transit system there are many choices ,many bus routes have stops at the Navy Pier.We stayed at the Congress caught the bus on Harrison two blocks away and was at the Pier within 15 minutes.
The ferris wheel by itself is 15, but you can get it cheaper if you buy a bundle of rides

Yes. There is the "W Chicago". It has a pool and stuff it costs $179 and it's a 4 star hotel.
You can walk - Probably would be fastest. If that's not an option or you don't want to, I believe the 29 bus takes you right in front
I honestly will need to ck that out. Garage looked too low.
Call them.
There is no date
Now it's closed
Pier is closed, they fenced the entire entrance . Cant get on rides nor walk in or around it.
